"Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm."

Crumpled notebook pages lie on the floor. A worn out black notebook rests on the floor "RWF" scribbled on the cover. Johnny Magnum, a founding father of the fallen federation, sits back in the corner watching over the notebook and torn out pages. He sits with his head in his hand and in the other a stick of ash, a cigarette burnt to the butt. The ashes crumble away to the floor and Magnum flicks the burning remains of the cigarette at the notebook. He stands up and walks off, the camera follows him into a bigger room. Magnum walks across the room and pulls open the shades, letting the light into the room. He stands in front of a large window overlooking an anonymous city.
"If you can't define a man based on his failures, but he has no evident success, what criteria is left to judge him on?"
Magnum's eyes wonder around the city.
"Recently my life's been filled with one failure after another. Dating back all those months ago in the summertime when Roy, ACM and I went off to create our own federation. That failed. We came back to Shawn and then I was put up against none other than The Roy... and again, I failed.
Got my job back, but Shawn closed shop. This is where things get interesting. Roy? He had some other issues going on, so he tosses the keys over to me and says this ACM guy has the spare. So he and I, that is ACM and I, we exchange a few words over e-mail, that's basically it though. That run of RWF dove even sharper than the first.
Here we are now though, in the grandaddy of them all once more - Saturday Night's Main Event! And, ironically enough, in my first match back I go one on one with... ACM! Imagine that!"
Johnny's fake enthusiasm is obvious and short-lived. He turns to the camera and looks at it with no obvious emotion.
"Imagine that, Antonio. Can I call you that? I don't believe we've ever truly met, despite our rich history. But we will meet at Brawl 4 All, Antonio. And the flood gates will open and wash away whatever we had and leave us with simply a battlefield. It's the only place I've really ever known, Antonio, and it's the only place I'm any good.
Antonio, Oscar Wilde once wrote "Ambition is the last refuge of failure." And right now? I'm runnin' on drive."
Magnum leans away from the sight of the camera as the scene fades to black.[/b][/size]
