Just as our first scene opens, a few clips of Chris Danielson arriving home back from the bar meeting he had with "Soulfire" Justin Tyger are shown. A final clip of Chris turning a lamp next to his bed is what we see as this set of clip finishes by the camera zooming out of the room as the scene has a quick fade to black. As the sun makes its comeback, we see Mercennario slowly wake up to the sing of a nest of birds located on the outside up in a tree just a few steps next to the Danielson residence. As soon as he stands up of his bed, the door is knocked.
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"Come in!"
A woman wearing a beige suit and a teenage girl on pijamas then come in. The woman, Danielson's mom, is holding a chocolate cake as the teenage girl, Danielson's sister, is turning on the candles on it. Both of them smile at Merc as they start to sing.
Martha & Sophie:
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Chris. Happy birthday to you!"
Chris smiles as both of them hug him. Chris then grabs the cake and stares at it.
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"Thank you for this. It's been a long time since I received one."
Martha:
"You know that its up to you to keep receiving them, but oh well, make a wish."
A grin expands over Danielson's face as he closes his eyes and blows the candles. His mom and sister both smile and applaud to it.
Martha:
"We'll leave you so you can get ready."
Both woman leave the room as Danielson puts the cake on a desk in front of him, next to the Tyger journals and his brand new own journal. He start to look for a shirt as we slowly fade out. As we fade in again, Danielson's grabbing his baggage, as he is about to leave to Vegas along with his friends to celebrate the rest of his birthday. Someone then knocks the door of his room and opens it. Chris is seen sitting on his desk staring at his journals.
Martha:
"You're about to leave, huh?"
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"Yeah, I think I'll be back in one or two days before I leave again."
Martha:
"Chris, we don't want you to leave."
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"Mom, I have a job. I love my job. I HAVE to leave."
Martha:
"I wish you didn't..."
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"But that's not the case, I seriously don't want to get into that argument again. Goodbye, mom."
Martha:
"Take care..."
Just as Chris is leaving the room, he stops and turns around. He takes all the journals and grabs them as he starts to walk away from his room leaving his mom sitting on his bed.
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"I'll need something to read while we're on the road."
Chris smirks as his mom looks at him. Chris is seen leaving the house as his mom stares at him from behind the window. Danielson then sits on the sidewalk and grabs his journal.

"So it is time to celebrate my birthday big time. This has been a great day so far. Before my match on Saturday Night's Main Event, I will be facing Bobby Roode. I remember back when I was as muscular as he is now, but that didn't mean a single thing. It was my desire for things that made me stronger than ever. Does he posses that? Who knows, but it'll take him more than strength to beat my desire. Now, after what has been a good day, there's still a lot more fun for me, that's for sure. I can't wait 'till my friends arrive."

We then listen to a honking horn as Chris turns to his left and notices an old Chevrolet getting near. This are Chris' friends Frank Anderson, George Deshazo, and Mark Monreal. They stop in front of Merc, as the door is opened and he enters the car. They leave as the scene fades while coming back as they are on the road.
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"I thought you would be bringing your BMW or your Audi, Frank."
Frank Anderson:
"I felt this thing would get us there faster."
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"It's fine, I like it."
George Deshazo:
"Dude, I want some chicks, I hope this thing doesn't scare them."
Mark Monreal:
"This is a classic, dude. If they don't like it, we might just get some hookers."
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"Do you have hotel reservations already?"
Mark Monreal:
"Hotel reservations? What are you talking about? We won't sleep!"
Frank accelerates as they stop on a gas station. Mark rushes inside a restroom as Frank goes inside to buy some gas, while George is buying snacks. Merc stays on the car and grabs one of Tyger's journals. He starts reading it while holding a pen as he starts to whisper.
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"So this will be the first time Bobby Roode wrestles, and it will be against a champion. He'll try to impress, but will he be able to do so? I won't make it an easy task for him, because now I want to become the best, and I need to defeat him to continue my journey on that."
Merc then turns his attention back to the journals as the three of his friends arrive. Frank then accelerates, getting back on the road. They finally arrive Las Vegas as some clips of them are shown. Frank and Merc are seen talking as Frank's having a cold Bud Light while Merc enjoys some of his beloved Root Beer. Mark is seen sitting on another table with one girl to each side. He kisses one, and then kisses the other. George is seen on the buffet eating everything he sees. We see a clip of the four of them inside a casino. A final clip of them leaving is shown. We are back on the road. The four of them seem happy, Danielson more than all of them, as we then listen to his thoughts.
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson (on his mind):
"What a great day this just was. This couldn't get any better, now, I just need to defeat my opponent this week and it could turn out to be the best week I've ever had."
Suddenly, smoke starts going out of the car. All of them seem confused as the car stops. As the car stopped, all of them seem astonished, as they are in the middle of the road, and not only the road, but the desert. They all get out of the car.
George Deshazo:
"So... a classic, huh?"
Frank Anderson:
"It was fine, man. This thing was fine."
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"So, what are we going to do now?"
Frank Anderson:
"Wait for me here, I'll try to find some help."
Frank then walks away.
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"Damn... It was perfect."
Mark Monreal:
"Don't worry, buddy. Everything will get fine. It's not like we'll die here."
George Deshazo:
"Well, I'm hungry, so I might die... You know, I'll go with Frank and see if I can get something to eat too."
George runs away after Frank.
Mark Monreal:
"Good idea. I'll go to that other side and see if I find something."
"Mercennario" Chris Danielson:
"Well, I guess I'll stay here to look after the car."
Merc then stays there standing alone. He his journal and his pen.

"So something wants to ruin my day, huh? That won't happen. There's nothing that can ruin all the fun we just had. This will finish in a brief time, but for now, I guess I'll just wait.
It's been three hours since they left... Things aren't looking good at all.
Okay, it's been eight hours since they left, good thing is, we had some food and water left here and they forgot about it.
We are now in the morning... Good God, I think they are not coming back... I guess I'll just walk here and try to find some help myself..."

Merc then starts to walk to the front of the road. He grabs his journals with him as the weather's getting hotter. As he continues walking, the scene slowly fades away to black.
