As Saturday Night’s Main Event comes back from a commercial break, Cult of Personality hits over the P.A as SNME superstar Eric Esfan is seen walking onto the stage. Esfan has a cocky smirk on his face as he looks around the arena begins his descent down to the ring. Eric Esfan slides into the ring, looks around the arena, grabs a mic, and is met by a mix of cheers and boos from the SNME crowd.
Esfan: First, let me just tell you something. I’m not one of those guys who is going to come up with some crazy promo idea and ramble on about nothing. Let's get that straight. I am one of those guys who comes down to this ring to talk to each and every single one of you…PERSONALLY!
Crowd cheers.
Esfan: Now, as many of you saw on Highway to Hell, yours truly made his official debut. And as many of you saw as well, Shawn Michaels walked away with the World Heavyweight Title.
Crowd cheers loudly.
Esfan: Does it bother me? No, not really. Does it disappoint me? Yes it does. I mean, for one month 5 guys busted their asses getting ready for the Elimination Chamber, none expecting Shawn Michaels to partake in the match. But why? Why did Shawn Michaels throw himself into the Elimination Chamber? I know exactly why. Do you all want to know why??
Eric extends the mic to the crowd as the crowds roars with shouts of yes.
Esfan: It’s because Shawn Michaels, the owner of this company, could not find a sixth person to take part in the chamber! Word in the back is that the “surprise” opponent no-showed Shawn and Shawn panicked last second. He threw himself in the match. And after that, he decided he was going to walk out with the title? Is that the conduct of a partisan owner? Is that the conduct of a person you can trust? I do not think so. But look, I get it, enough with this hating on Shawn thing, which, by the way, seems to becoming a pretty common theme around here. You taking notice yet Shawn??
Eric pauses for a second.
Esfan: But now, onto the real reason I came out here tonight. My opponent, Chris Danielson.
Crowd pops.
Esfan: You know, I will admit, Chris is actually one of the few guys I like here at Saturday Night’s Main Event. I have great respect for him as a friend and as a competitor. But with that said, I will not let that personal relationship get in the way of what NEEDS to be done!! What needs to be done is simple. I need to come out here, in front of all of you, and get my first victory here in Saturday Night’s Main Event. I can bitch and moan about not getting my shot, but if I don’t deliver when I get my shot, then it’s all on me. This is my first opportunity to show off my in-ring skills and prove to the world who the best is. And that is me. Chris, when I nail the F5 on you and put you down for the three count, know that you are my first stepping stone on my road to glory here. It’s time for Saturday Night’s Main Event to become the great company I know it can be. Chris, best of luck to you, but be aware, I will hold nothing back on you. This week, my pipe bomb takes place in the middle of thing when the referee counts….one…two…three.
Esfan drops the mic as Cult of Personality hits over the PA. Esfan gets a serious look over his face as he looks around the arena. Esfan walks over to the turnbuckles facing the camera, climbs up to the second rope, and spreads his arms and looks up to the skies. The camera zooms in on Eric Esfan as SNME goes to a commercial break.
