“End of Days” by Jim Johnston blares through the PA System. A confident, cocky looking Wade Barrett walks from behind the black curtain and stands on the stage. Wearing his wrestling gear along with a black United Kingdom of Wrestling shirt, Barrett makes his way to the ring. Holding a microphone with his right hand. Barrett approaches a lady standing in front row. He smirks to her before walking up the steel steps. He enters the ring and proceeds to talk.
Barrett: So here I am again, gentlemen, Wade Barrett has arrived the building. You all may be asking yourselves why I am feeling so confident tonight. This week, for the ones that don’t know, I will be facing none other than Jey Uso; one of my opponents at Highway 2 Hell. There has been a lot of talk since Desmond Wolfe and I had our first tag team match together. We were defeated by Matt Sydal and Chris Danielson. That was a big mistake from our part because we had compassion. We had compassion for them which led to us leaving the ring following a defeat, yet we were smart and classy enough to wait until next week to get payback. Danielson questioned us for attacking them saying we should be attacking The Usos instead of them. After our match, I can’t blame him for not wanting to fight against us again, and well, we were nice enough to grant him his wish. We came and attacked the Usos until officials saved them. That was our second mistake, or should I say, my mistake. I know, I get it. Even though you people think the United Kingdom of Wrestling are perfect human beings, I am sorry to let you down, but we are not perfect. We are about to reach perfection, though. My mistake goes back at me saying we came here to dominate. No, that is not what the United Kingdom of Wrestling wants. What we want is to own Saturday Night’s Main Event. We are going to do this in the most politely way possible. We are gonna show the best manners, but in the ring, that is where Wolfe and I while show how strong we are. I may be alone right now, but for my match, I’ll have the honor to have William Regal on my corner. I can assure you he won’t interfere in that match. He probably would if this was important enough, or if I wasn’t able to take Jey out. Neither of those are a problem. Jey is one of the biggest and baddest men there is on Saturday Night’s Main Event, but tonight that changes, because I will show how good Wade Barrett is. Jey Uso is nothing more than an utter disgrace, and you people will have the best spot to witness the fall of one half of the tag team champions.
“End of Days” by Jim Johnston blasts through the PA System with Barrett smirking. The crowd boos him as SNME goes to commercial.
