Did someone recommend SNME to you? Nope, I saw it on an E-Fed list!
What level do your roleplay at? Mid-Card
Are you dedicated to roleplay when you are booked? Yes!
Sample Roleplay:
The scene opens up to a perky, suburban house. The camera pans, and we see the freshly cut lawn, and a stone pathway leading up to the white house. Suddenly, the camera moves to the side, and the viewer sees SNME interviewer, Maria Kanellis! Maria starts to walk over to where the stone pathway begins, and the camera follows. Maria raises a microphone to her mouth and we know that she's about to begin an interview.
Maria Kanellis: Ladies and gentleman, I'm here with the Saturday Night's Main Event camera crew, and I've received some news from insiders in Teddy Long's group of friends that SNME is in contract negotiations with a new Diva! So, being the ever inquisitive interviewer that I am, I contacted this Diva-to-be, and she agreed to an interview for the SNME website! Maria extends her arm out, and the camera shifts to get the house in view. Maria lowers the arm, and the camera moves back to Maria. So here we are in Union City, New Jersey! Let's get inside and start!
Maria puts the microphone down, and beckons the camera crew to follow her. She walks up the stone pathway and rings the doorbell. Suddenly, a quirky young woman opens the door, and jumps in excitement. Surprisingly enough, the woman is tiny, and the camera man has to zoom out a little to get the woman into the shot. The girl beckons the crew inside, and she leads them into a bedroom. The bedroom could be compared to a little kid's room-- a single bed with a skull and crossbone bed sheet, a desk with various things strewn on it, including a laptop, action figures and most notably, a Championship belt replica. On the walls of the room, she has various posters of wrestlers: Shawn Michaels, Trish Stratus, Bret Hart, etc. The camera shifts back to Maria.
Maria Kanellis: So I'm sure some of you guys are wondering who this Diva hopeful is. Ladies and gentleman, I'd like to formally introduce to you... AJ!
The camera suddenly shifts to the petite AJ: she's tiny, with tiny features as well. AJ was definitely bony, a trait that you wouldn't find in an everyday wrestler. She was dressed in a strapless, black and white polka dot dress, and knee-high black converse. AJ definitely wasn't your every day Diva. With a burst of agility, AJ grabs the microphone while Maria is still clutching it.
AJ: Oh my God, hi! I'm AJ Lee, and I reall--
Maria smiles down on AJ, and AJ giggles a little bit, letting go of the mic. Maria giggles a little and looks into the camera.
Maria Kanellis: AJ, tell us a little about yourself!
AJ: As I said before, I'm AJ Lee, and I'm soooooooo excited that you guys are here. It's always been my dream since I was a little girl-- yes, sometime in the past I was even tinier then I am now-- to break into the wrestling business. Like, I grew up idolizing so many different wrestlers. You got your guys like Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart... Then you got your Divas like Lita-- Who, might I add is my ULTIMATE idol-- AJ pauses, and takes a deep breath. She had been talking extremely fast, and viewers at home were already able to tell that AJ was definitely a girl full of pep. AJ lets out a giggle Woah, I was getting way ahead of myself there, and kinda off topic too. AJ shrugs and keeps on going. Anyways, I'm from this dump of a city, and if ya couldn't already tell from the fact that I've dreamt of being a Diva, I'm not your average girl. Growing up, I wasn't the super-popular cheerleader who got with all the guys. If you had to classify me, you could kinda say I was a "tomboy." I was the girl who hung out with all of the guys instead of sleeping with them, the girl who went home and played video games all night, and I was also the one who didn't go to prom. Maria nodded and smiled as AJ looked up into the 5'7 Interviewer and let out a giggle.
And yeah, I was pretty much made fun of for all of that, and you know what? It did kind of get to me, but wrestling was my escape. I'd go home from all the cheerleader-morons and watch Lita on my television. I said before that Lita was my ultimate idol, and that wasn't an understatement: Lita taught me that it's okay to be different from everybody-- She wasn't your typical blonde barbie doll that was afraid to get her hands dirty inside of the ring. And I knew when I was a girl watching her, that I wanted to be just like her.
Maria nods, shocked at how much heart the petite Geek Goddess had in her. It was obvious that what AJ lacked in size and muscle, she made up for it in charisma and heart. AJ smiled an awkward smile, and one could sense that she felt a little uncomfortable talking about her troubles in school and not always fitting in. But that all disappeared when AJ started talking about Lita.
Maria: Wow, what a role model! So why don't you tell us a little about your wrestling career? Where you got started, what kind of moves you do... That kind of stuff!
AJ: Well I said that I wanted to be like Lita, so I started doing odd jobs around the neighborhood after I graduated from High School, and soon enough I was able to train at a school in Trenton. While I was there they taught me the basics and once I caught on, I started learning all the high--flying, exciting moves. When ever I watched Lita on TV, I was not only amazed by all of the hurricanranas and moonsaults, I was excited to see what she would do next. That's one of the reasons I decided to go with a high-flyers moveset as opposed to a technical one-- I wanted to excite people. Plus it kinda suits me for my lack of size-- AJ laughs and smiles her infectious smile, before continuing. I mean could you really see me of all people lifting around girls twice my size? Neither could I.
Maria Kanellis: If you're a fan of AJ's, you know that she's been around the indy circuits and other promotions. Why don't you tell us about that?
AJ: Well I wrestled in Women Superstars Uncensored for about a year, and then WWE contacted me and offered me a contract-- and I was like 'Woah, I haven't even been doing this for long, and they already want me?!' But yeah, I wrestled for FCW where I was the longest reigning Queen of Florida, as well as FCW Divas Champion. I was on NXT Season 3 for a while, and I even won-- that is if you don't watch the last few episodes... AJ winks before continuing. I was on SmackDown! for a while after that, but if I'm being honest, the WWE just wasn't what it used to be. Before, their women were respected and were used to their potential. When i was there, we weren't treated as equals to the men, and I knew that I deserved more then that-- I hope that doesn't sound too cocky, but it's the truth! So I left, and here I am now!
AJ begins to jumping up and down in excitement again. She knows that SNME is a great place for wrestlers to come and actually put on a decent fight. And it was even better for her because she actually knew some of the people who were apart of the company already.
Maria Kanellis: Awesome! So AJ, do you have any last words for the fans watching online at home?
AJ grabs the microphone, similarly to the way she did in the beginning of the interview. AJ looked straight into the camera and smirked an innocent smirk.
AJ: Guys, I'm so pumped. Like, I really hope I get signed here. I didn't get a chance to make a difference in the WWE, but I really want to come here and not only show off my athleticism, but I also wanna spread the message that you don't have to be some plastic, Barbie with blonde hair and big boobs to get noticed. Sooooo, hopefully you AJ points straight into the camera and laughs a little. will be seeing me on TV soon. Until then, adios muchachos!
Maria and AJ laugh together at AJ's corny-ness. The scene slowly pans out into blackness, and the Saturday Night's Main Event logo flashes across the scene.
Okay, so this is my app! I had a really good time writing it, and I feel as if I connected with AJ more than I have with any other character that I've roleplayed in the past. I hope y'all enjoy
