**NHBWO goes backstage, to show a locker room door, and you can hear the voice of Randy Orton coming from the other side of the door. There is no nametag on the door, so no one knows exactly who he’s talking to. Suddenly Randy Orton quickly opens the door, and springs out, looking around to make sure no one saw him. He double-takes to his left, down the long, dimly lit hallway. Then he looks back over to the right, towards the camera. A grim expression emerges over the face of Randy Orton as he cockily strides down the hall, pushing over some NHBWO workers. Suddenly the camera goes into Batista’s locker room. You can here the fans cheer back from the ring as they watch him upon the Titan Tron. He is sitting in the corner, on a bench near his locker. He is dripping wet, and he begins to lace up his boots. He finishes that, then ties some tape around his wrists. He rotates his shoulders, stretching his torso. He turns around and pulls out his Intercontinental title, and sets it gently on his lap. He glances at his title, and smiles. He pulls out a neatly folded rag, and some polish, and he begins to clean his pride and joy. Once he’s done, he lets out another smile and neatly folds the rag, and places it into safe keepings. He grabs a “The Animal” t-shirt and stands up. He slides the shirt on over his head, and begins to exit his locker room. Before he completely walks out, he looks over at a picture of his family, including his son and his father who passed away. He looks at the picture, and suddenly frowns. He begins to flex his muscles, and stretching his arms.
Batista: Im the Animal baby!
** Batista slaps his chest as he says this exits the room closing the door as NHBWO goes to commercial break.**
NHBWO’s camera is shown zooming around the jam-packed arena.
It shows the roaring crowd holding up their signs of all different variations.
The camera goes to the ringside announce table to show Joey Styles all by
himself.
Joey: Well, ladies and gentlemen welcome back to Saturday night turmoil, we have seen a lot tonight, and we just saw a saddening moment by Batista, paying his respects to his father. My heart and thoughts go out to Dave’s family, but he was nice enough to still come to NHBWO. He told us that these fans were his family as well.
** “Unleashed” by Saliva slams the P.A. system as the lights go to black, and white spotlights begin appearing. The second that guitar hit’s the speakers, it raises the crowd to their feet. Suddenly a black curtain flings and Batista comes out, smiling with his title wrapped securely around his waste. He walks out giving thumbs up to the fans. The crowd roars louder as soon as they see Batista appear. He walks over to the right side of the stage, moving his whole leg, instead of just his lower leg. With each huge step he takes, he smacks the leg that’s moving. He reaches the end of the right stage, and he stops. He looks at the different signs for a few seconds, the turns around and begins to walk over to the left side of the stage. He places his hands on his triceps as he walks, smiling to the crowd. He smacks his Intercontinental title, then turns around and head towards the center of the stage. Batista plays some air-guitar while walking, then laughs I off as he stops directly in the center of the stage. A guitar solo hits as Batista bends down and smacks the cold, metal stage.
The guitar solo ends with a massive boom. The booms begins to echo over the P.A. system as Josey Scott’s voice is heard.
“I walk alone!…”
His voice fades into the distance, but is brought back up with a guitar solo.
“I walk for miles inside this pit of danger. The place where no one follows me I walk alone!... Huh!”
Batista swings his fully clenched fists back and forth, then takes one of them and raises it high into the air. He holds it for a few seconds, the smashes it into the air below him. Suddenly massive white pyros begin to explode, stretching out across the stage, nearly reaching the ceiling. Batista stands there as these effects occur. The white pyros slow down, and begins to fade.
Batista begins to walk down the ramp as Josey Scotts’ voice is heard.
“Yeah!... I'm sick of all these people talkin' out their heads. I've never understood a damn thing that they said. From words to actions, never knowing what they're talkin' about, I guess I'll have to chew them up and spit them out, and I'll say.…”
Batista reaches the end of the ramp, where metal meets mat, as another guitar solo begins to play, followed by again, Josey Scott.
“I walked for miles inside this pit of danger. I've swallowed down a thousand years of anger. The weight of the worlds has fallen on my shoulders. The place where no one follows me I walk alone!…”
Batista turns and begins to walk towards the bottom stairs. Along the way he slaps a few fans hands. He plants his feet right before the stairs and he sloops his head down. He mutters a few words to himself, then quickly runs up the stairs, grabbing the turnbuckle ahead with his right hand. He walks over to the left apron and turns around, his back against the ropes. He looks all around at the crowd; chanting “Batista!”
“I walked for miles inside this pit of danger. I've swallowed down a thousand years of anger. The weight of the worlds has fallen on my shoulders. The place where no one follows me I walk alone!…”
Batista presses down on the second rope and ducks his head under the third. He enters the ring and makes sure his belt it still safely fastened around his waist. He walks over towards the far, top-right turnbuckle. As he gets to it, he stops, then grabs each side of the third rope, and pulls himself up, placing his feet on the corners on the second rope. He holds both his arms up, and poses to crowd. He lowers his arms, and flexes his biceps. His veins look as if there about to explode from the force of Batista’s massive arms.
He jumps down, and paces in ellipses, then he walks over to the ringside crew and grabs a microphone. His music begins to fade as the crowd begins to roar louder than it. “Batista” chants emerge into the arena. Batista stops in the middle of the ring and stares blankly into the camera. He looks to his left, then his right, then begins to smile.
Crowd: BATISTA……BATISTA…..BATISTA.
**The crowd points both of their index fingers at Batista as they chant.**
Batista: Guys, guys, thank you very much. Tonight, as you all may know, I’m in a handicap match, against our World champion Randy Orton…
**Crowd boo’s**
Batista: And against a mystery opponent. Now, I don’t know who this person is going to be, but seriously, does Randy think I’m scared? Randy, how many times have we been in the ring together? We have been teams at times, and we were enemies at times, but the fact of the matter is, I know your not smart enough to pick someone that can actually challenge me. Randy, I’m the Intercontinental champion, I’m the Animal.
**Crowd roars for Batista.**
Batista: You and your little “friend” are both sacrifices tonight. You are both being thrown into the animals pit, and you wont come out the same. Randy, I’m letting your friend know tonight, that just because I despise you Orton, I will show NO MERCY! I’m going to make sure that when my hand is raised, and I walk up that ramp victorious, that Randy, and this “mystery opponent” aren’t going to move for a while. Now Randy, you think that you can beat me just because you’re the World champion? Randy, no one knows why Vince GAVE you the title. Randy, you didn’t earn that gold, unlike me. Randy, I beat arguably the best man here in NHBWO, Triple H. Randy, you walked down to this ring and were handed that title. You kissed the boss’s ass and didn’t do anything for that title. Orton, you’re what we like to call a transitional champion. You know what that is Orton? Your going to loose your title very soon Orton. I doubt Masters’ will take it, but Orton, if you’re the champion by Night of Glory, and you step into that chamber with that title around your waste, I guarantee you wont walk out that way. Orton, I will walk out with the World Heavyweight Title, and the Intercontinental title. I’ll be a double champion. Orton, I’ll be at the top, and I’ll send your ass down into the gutters. Now, I’m usually not this mean to people, but Orton has cut of the chain around my neck. He’s released the chains around my legs, he’s unleashed the beat, and that beast is me, THE ANIMAL!
**The “Batista” chants begin again.**
Batista: Now, this mystery opponent. I don’t give a damn if this man was a ogre, it would discourage me one bit. Knowing Orton, he probably forgot to pick. I will decimate whoever stands in my path, to reach you at the end of the trail. Orton, you’re my main target tonight. I don’t care how sick and demented your partner is. Orton, it doesn’t get worse than Kane, and I beat him. The reason I say “I” is because you cheated to pull off a victory. And while doing so, you nailed me with a chair. Orton, you think that’s what made me so mad? No Randy, I’m sorry, I never liked you. Orton, remember when we didn’t see eye to eye when we first debuted here? That’s when you started to slowly, but surely, rip the collar of the animal. When you touched my son, and hurt my family, you broke that leash. Orton, you’re the food for the Animal tonight, along with your mystery friend. He’s hiding from me, and when I see him, I will unleash on him. Orton, you’ve crossed a barrier now that your in my pit. Your just a helpless person inside my pit hiding from the beast, and when I win that title at Night of Glory, the Animal officially killed “The Legend Killer” Randy Orton.
**Batista drops the microphone as “Unleashed” by Saliva blares out of the P.A. system. The crowd begins to cheer for Batista as he rips his shirt off and tosses it into the crowd. He stares directly at the entrance ramp and waits for Randy Orton to come.**
