Turmoil RP: You'll Be Well In Your Suffering

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A clock appears on the screen, and slowly begins melting. A double bass plays the drop from a G to a C, and a piano begins the slow intro to Ryan Beyer’s “Stolen Moments.” Kurt Elling’s voice floats over the top of the instruments, completing the great jazz tune. Beyer steps out from behind the curtain, wearing his typical suit. Ryan walks slowly down the ramp, jamming to the tune. He slaps a few hands lightly, and when he reaches the ring, he rolls in, hands still in his pockets. Beyer is handed a microphone and waits for the crowd to settle down.
Ryan Beyer: ”So Vince, how was it? Laying in the dark, bleeding from the mouth, listening to complete silence as you lay six feet below ground. I’m sure you aren’t a big fan of small spaces anymore, are you? McMahon, let’s face it, you’re done! Your wrestling days are over. Vinny, you’re old! You’re slow Vince, weak. You belong in that grave.”
As Ryan finishes his sentence, the lights switch to a red hue. A tombstone is slowly lowered from the ceiling. It gets to the point where it is hovering at Ryan’s eye level. He looks sharply at it, as the sides of the ring fill with smoke. Three hooded men arise from the smoke, and Ryan Beyer looks at the tombstone, which reads, “Here lies Ryan Beyer.” The men invade the ring, and Beyer turns towards the screen, punching one of them, shoving him out of his way. Ryan wastes no time in sliding out of the ring, but is pulled back in by one of the men. From there, the smoke rises into the ring. Beyer is seen sliding down out of the ring, and barely escapes with his life.
Hooded Man: “Beyer. . . It’s time. You might as well just come with us. It’ll be much easier.”
Beyer flings off his jacket, and looks ready to fight. However, HBK comes running out, and stands in front of the co-owner. A short argument about what to do takes place, and Beyer turns around with HBK. Suddenly, the red light shifts to blue, and a hoard of hooded men come walking from the curtain. Shawn Michaels and Ryan Beyer are nearly trapped, so the friends run back into the ring, and toss the four men inhabiting it out.
Ryan Beyer: ”Don’t give me your BS! I know that one of you under there is Vince, and another is HHH. Is this the best you can do? I don’t respond to these mind games. I’ve mastered these, I can make a person contradict everything they’ve every done in one simple act of a mind game. Don’t play with me Vince. Nice try, but a bit simplistic.”
The men are lined at the sides of the ramp, forming a full circle on the stage, and wrapping around the barriers. Ryan and Shawn are trapped; both circling an imaginary point back to back, waiting for what seems to be an inevitable ambush. The tombstone, still looming over the ring, drops like the anvil that it is, scaring both Beyer and Michaels. They jump and turn behind them to see what fell, and quickly bring their attention back to the ominous throng surrounding them. Beyer stops circling and walks to the turnbuckle. With grace, Ryan Beyer springs to the top rope and catapults himself into the aisle of the crowd. None of the men move for several seconds, until they take one step forward. Ryan Beyer has deserted Shawn Michaels. They continue their forward march until, suddenly, Beyer drops from the ceiling, snatches HBK out of an impending doom, and flies back up. The men stand puzzled, and after a few seconds, Beyer and HBK reemerge from behind the curtain, undetected, even by the raving speaker.
Hooded Man: ”You two are lucky to have escaped with your lives. We will find you. You can’t run forever. I guarantee you both, Battle Mania will be the last night you live.”
Beyer walks up behind one of the men in the back, and grabs him by the throat, throwing off his hood to reveal Vince McMahon, as the lights come back up to white. Shawn Michaels begins to speak to the large assembly of grim reapers.
Shawn Michaels: ”Oh, Vince, you really didn’t think you could trick us, did you? And boy, does that voice sound familiar. Doesn’t it Beyer? Yeah, it sounds like HHH. Nice try bud, but you can’t fool the Heart Break Kid! Beyer. . . I wouldn’t even bother with Vince here. He’ll be winded in the first few seconds of our match.”
Beyer tosses Vince to the crowd of hoods, who do nothing to help him up. Ryan Beyer is handed the microphone, and looks into the crowd.
Ryan Beyer: ”Oh Vince, honestly, I told you. Mind games don’t work with me. McMahon, I’m the thief of people’s time, not you! My time in NHBWO can be measured in stolen moments! A nice attempt, and with anyone else, it would have worked. But not this time. Now, I don’t know who the rest of you are, but get lost!”
Beyer and HBK begin walking towards them, and they begin fleeing over the barrier. A mass exodus, leaving only Vince and HHH sanding in the ring. Beyer holds the microphone, staring into the eyes of the intercontinental champion and the owner of NHBWO.
Ryan Beyer: ”You two. . . Will be such an easy defeat. Now Vince, I think you know, I mean business. Vince, my hello has dropped it’s O. It sits in your way like a dog does when it wants food. But you can’t go near it, can you? You’ve become everything I hate. Do you remember why you screwed me over? Do you remember why I left? Vince, in our match, I’ll make sure you don’t walk out of Turmoil, or into Battle Mania.”
The lights fade, and red spotlights shine on the four men. Beyer stares into their eyes, a haunting stare that wakes you up when you dream in at night, and when you wake up, it’s still there.
Ryan Beyer: ”Vince, was it worth it to try killing NHBWO? If I don’t stay here, would you do it again? Vince, I hope you die right now. Will you drink my chemical? I hope you cry out loud, it would only make me feel too good. Vince, your annihilation will be my vengeance. This company will never be completely yours, Vince. I will walk out of Turmoil victorious. Don’t worry, you’ll be well in your suffering. And remember, there‘s always an empty coffin ready, once upon your dead body”
With this, Beyer and HBK disappear in a cloud of smoke.
