Saturday Night's Main Event: Redefined TV LIVE! From The Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, South Carolina! 10/13/07A video package of some of SNME's greatest moments begins to play along with "Given Up" by Linkin Park. The video suddenly shatters as we are taken live into the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, South Carolina! The camera searches through the sold out crowd as they cheer. The camera view changes and we are looking on at the stage where giant pyros begin to explode. Finally flames ignite the stage as the lights come on. We are then taken over to the broadcast table with Austin Owens and Joey Styles.Styles: Welcome to Saturday Night's Main Event! I'm Joey Styles, alongside my broadcast partner . . .
Owens: Austin Owens! You're damn right it's Saturday Night's Main Event! And folks, what a night it is going to be. I'm just waiting for Angle to get his hands on CM Punk. After the stunt he pulled with Jericho, Angle has to be pissed.
Styles: There is no telling how mad Angle is, Austin. That's why I suggest EVERYONE stays out of his way tonight.
Owens: Well Joey, let's head to the ring. "Misteria Cantare" suddenly blares through the arena, bringing the fans attention to the stage. Through the curtain steps the returning Straight Edge Superstar, CM Punk. He is donned in an "XXX" t-shirt, and is dressed to compete. Punk slowly walks onto the stage, looking at the crowd. He then throws up an "X" with his arms. He begins his walk down the ramp, the fans cheering him on and booing him at the same time. He quickly rolls into the ring, taking the microphone from Finkel. His music slowly fades away as he begins to speak.CM Punk: Alright . . . Alright. I'm sure all of you thought you were rid of me, huh? You thought CM Punk was done and gone from Saturday Night's Main Event . . . Well, I'm back. Not only am I back to save this company, but I'm back to reclaim what was once mine. Yeah, Kurt . . . You know exactly what I'm talking about. The World Heavyweight Championship. Kurt, your four months is over. You've had your last stop, and darkness is falling upon you. You think you're the greatest wrestler here today . . . Kurt, you're wrong. Ya' see, I'm better than you. And I will guarantee . . . CM Punk is quickly interrupted by the sound of "My Quest" blaring through the arena. Through the curtain, storms World Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle. Angle slings the title over his shoulder and takes off down the ramp. He quickly slides into the ring, where CM Punk slides out, avoiding a face to face confrontation. Angle kicks the ropes, daring Punk to climb back into the ring. He then snatches up the microphone Punk was using.Angle: What's wrong Punk? Huh? Are you just like everyone else I've defended this belt against? Why are you backing down? Afraid to step up to the plate and take on a real challenge like you've never had before? Seven months? Seven months my ass! You can sit there and talk about your seven month title reign, but who in the hell did you defend that belt against? Not a damn soul! My four months puts your seven to a damn shame! It's true . . . It is DAMN true! So Punk, you want this belt at Darkness Falls? You damn well got it!Angle slams down the microphone as "My Quest" blares through the arena once more. Punk slowly backs up the ramp, smiling at how pumped he got Kurt.

The camera quickly cuts backstage, showing Carlito. He sits on a bench, staring down at the floor. There on the floor sits both World Tag Team Titles. One has a name plate on it, reading Carlito. The other bares no name at all. Carlito looks to his right, staring directly into the camera.Carlito: June third, two-thousand and seven . . . John Cena and I won the World Tag Team Championships on that night. It was that night that the greatest team in this company began a reign. As I got to the arena I brought my bags to my lockeroom. I was expecting to be greeted by my tag team partner . . . But instead I was greeted with a letter. The letter told me exactly what I didn't want to hear, that my tag team partner, John Cena, had been released from his contract. Now me, I had no idea of this. I tried calling him and got his voicemail. I've asked management and got no answer. So here I sit, a lone Tag Team Champion, in need of a partner. As of this moment I am searching for a tag team partner to help me defend these belts at Darkness Falls . . . Whoever it is . . . I don't care. I just need a partner . . . A one man team . . . That ain't cool . . .Carlito stands up, pulling both belts from the ground. He places them both of his shoulders and walks off. vs. Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin vs. The Blue Meanie & "Big" Stevie Richards(Tag Team Match)The bWo’s music blares over the arena as the trio makes their way down the ramp and to the ring. Stevie and Meanie roll into the ring as Nova stands on the outside. MCMG’s music hits as the team steps out onto the stage, and strides down to the ring. MCMG rolls into the ring, as Shelley is set to start off with Stevie.“Ding, ding, ding”Shelley and Stevie tie up, each man going for the advantage. Richards manages to get Shelley into a headlock, but Alex uses his agility to maneuver out, and pushes Richards against the ropes. The two exchange a mix of some opening moves, each man trying to start off dominant. Alex slides of Richards, and puts him in a chinlock, trying to force the early submission. Richards grabs Alex’s head, and flips him over, breaking the hold. Stevie goes for a pin.“1….2.” Kickout at 2 by Shelley. Richards drags Alex over to his corner, and tags in Meanie, who immediately dances like a fool, then drops an elbow on Shelley. Meanie picks Alex up, and hits him with a few punches, which sends him stumbling backwards. Bionic elbow by Meanie! Alex falls on his back as the Blue Meanie runs off against the ropes, and hits a big splash! Meanie hooks the leg.“1….2…”Alex kicks out at a late 2 count. Meanie picks Alex up again, and whips him into the corner. Meanie charges at Shelley, but Alex kicks him in the face, then perches himself on the top rope. Flipping neckbreaker! Both men are down as the ref starts the count.“1…..2…..3…..4……5…..”Shelley crawls to his feet, as Meanie drags his fat over to Richards. Both men make the tag! Sabin spring boards off the ropes, and hits a flying clothesline on Stevie. Meanie tries attacking him, but Sabin hits a leg lariat! Meanie rolls out of the ring as Shelley runs over and dives over the top rope, flipping onto Meanie. In the ring, Sabin lays the boots into Stevie. Chris picks Richards up, and whips him into the corner, but Stevie reverses the momentum, and throws Sabin into the corner. Richards charges, but Chris gets his legs up, and hits a athletic hurricanrana out of the turnbuckle. Chris hits a nice step up enziguri on Richards, then a standing moonsault. Sabin picks Stevie up, and snatches him onto his shoulders. Cradle Shock! Sabin hooks the leg!“1….2….3!”
Fink: Here are your winners, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, the MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS!MCMG celebrate in the middle of the ring……but are interrupted by the infamous guitar rift of “Follow” by Breaking Benjamin! Sam and Joey walks out onto the stage, dressed in street clothes, and their fists taped as they look upon the tired teams. Both atheletes run to the ring, and slide in, only before beating down MCMG. Sam hits a wicked clothesline on Sabin, with Joey sending Shelley backwards with a dropkick. The bWo try to help, but Sam and Joey hit a double superkick on Meanie, and kick Stevie in the gut. X hoists Richards on his shoulders as Joey hits a Spike DDT on Nova. JP climbs to the apron, and springboards off, hitting a Phenomenal Cutter on the elevated Richards, who is then dropped into an Electric Chair by Sam. “Follow” plays as Sam and Joey stand dominant in the center of the ring, and motion that the tag titles will be theirs at Darkness Falls. We cut to a commercial break. It is a cold night, in London. The wind blows softly, filling the night air with a chilly breeze. The door to a small building swings open, exposing a woman standing in the doorway. She is in her early, maybe mid 20's, and behind her, we can see a long bar, with people sitting on stools in front of it. The woman slowly stumbles out, almost tripping over her own two feet. She takes a few steps away from the building, towards the curb. She stands there, looking around, as if she were lost. She rummages through her expensive purse, trying to find her car keys. She finally pulls them out, and presses a button. As she does, her car makes a sound, as the alarm is disarmed. The sound came from around the corner, obviously where the woman actually parked.
Instead of walking all the way around the corner, the woman spots a small walkway between buildings, leading towards the ally behind the bar. She takes this route, stumbling along into the darkness. She continues to walk, until she is startled. Startled by a sound. The sound, the oh so faint sound, of whistling. The woman looks behind her, to see no one there. She continues forward, much quicker now, as she reaches the end of the walkway.
She takes a left, and her car comes into view. It is only a few yards away, at the end of the ally. The whistling has stopped, but she is still suspicious. She walks quickly, trying to get to her car as fast as she can. She finally reaches it, and pulls out her keys. Her back windows are tinted, and her car is a dark, dark blue, almost blending in with the night. She finally opens the door, and gets in quickly, slamming the door shut behind her. After a few moments, the car still doesn't start. Just then, the car begins to shake, as if there were a struggle going on inside. It lasts about a minute or so, finally becoming completely still. The back door slowly opens, and a large man steps out. He wears all black, and a Ski Mask over his face. He blends in with the night.
He slowly shuts the car door, but before he does, something falls out, and onto the ground. Unaware of this, the man begins to walk towards another walkway between buildings. There is it. That sound. Whistling. It rings throughout the night, as the man walks away. The camera man quickly ventures forward, anxious to see what just fell out of the car. Upon reaching the car, he looks down, to see a familiar sight. A knife. Bloodstained, sitting on a piece of white cloth. The camera fades to black, as an image pops onto the screen.
The image of a knife, cutting a word out of the darkness. It quickly moves, carving each letter, until it finally stops. Blood starts to pour out of each letter, making it readable. One word lines the screen. One word, that is becoming oh so familiar. One word....

The camera watches on as Shawn Michaels sits at his desk. He flips through papers, searching for something. The door suddenly flies open, causing Shawn to toss the notebook into the air. Papers fly everywhere, littering the floor. Shawn sits there, looking at his visitor, Kurt Angle.Shawn: Yes?
Angle: Listen up, Michaels. Last week, that no good SOB, Jericho, played a dirty trick on me. He had me attacked by my opponent for Darkness Falls. And this week . . . There better be something done about it.
Shawn: Oh, no worries, Kurt. I've already made a match you're going to love.
Angle: Oh yeah? Well, what's that?
Shawn: Chris Jericho versus CM Punk . . . And it's next!
Angle: Haha! Nice one, Shawn. I'll see ya' later. I've gotta' catch this one.Angle quickly leaves Shawn's office, still scattered with papers. Shawn lets out a sigh of relief and goes back to fumbling through the papers. Main Event:vs. CM Punk vs. "Lionheart" Chris JerichoThe bell rings and “King of my World” by Saliva hits. Chris Jericho cockily steps out onto the entranceway and raises his arms up as the crowd are booing like crazy. Jericho smirks gently and struts to the ring, shouting abuse back at the fans. He rolls into the ring and gets on all four turnbuckles, getting the crowd all riled up. He takes off his jacket and crouches ready in the ring as the music stops.
The opening riff of “Miseria Cantare” AFI takes over the airwaves and golden pyro fires off as CM Punk walks out onto the stage. The crowd is both cheering and booing at the same time. He walks to the ring, and fans yell for him. He slowly makes his way to the ring and rolls in. The bell sounds as Punk pulls off his shirt and charges at Jericho."Ding, Ding, Ding!"Punk hits a high knee to the chest and as Jericho crouches down, Punk starts throwing elbows into Chris’s back and shoulders. Jericho lets out a yell, and Punk changes his offence again, starting to give Jericho some harsh forearms. He backs Y2J into a corner and starts pounding away at him with European uppercuts, alternating between them and more knees. Punk steps back, steeping in the crowd’s applause, before running and clotheslining Jericho into the corner.
Chris staggers out and Punk bounces off the ropes, coming back at him with a bulldog attempt. However Jericho supports him and drops the champion over the top rope, crotching him. Punk has his mouth wide open in pain but is quickly dropped to the outside floor with a standing insiguri kick from Jericho. Jericho starts to pick himself up and waits on the opposite side of the ring from Punk on the outside. As Punk gets up, Jericho runs and Fosbery flops over the top rope onto Punk!
The crowd are really riled up, stamping their feet for both men to get up. Punk is up first, and boots Jericho in the gut as he gets up. Punk slaps Jericho round the face as the crowd around let out an “oooh”. Jericho holds his face and comes back with a lariat to the floor. Jericho viciously kicks Punk in the ribs, and picks him up by the hair. Jericho runs with him and launches Punk into the ring post. He staggers out and gets caught with a leg lariat by the challenger.
Punk crashes backwards over the stairs, but Jericho won’t let him rest and throws him into the ring again. Jericho slides in and hooks the leg but just gets a 2 count. Jericho hooks the leg again but gets a one. Jericho shakes his head in despair and begins to punch Punk again and again in the head until the referee pulls him off. Jericho shrugs him away and picks Punk up. He kicks him and hits a spinning neckbreaker, crashing Punk to the mat.
Jericho is sliding off of Punk; the sweat is dripping down him. He sits the champion up and locks in a sleeper hold. Punk immediately starts to fight it but is starting to drift away, the referee raises Punk’s arm twice and it drops. He tries to a third time but Punk keeps his arm up. He starts to shake and gets up; Jericho still has the hold on. Punk goes to the corner, kicks his leg up then falls back with Jericho and rolls out. Jericho nips up and turns around quickly but is superkicked by Punk back down!
Punk walks over to Jericho and picks him up. Punk starts a furious combination of chops, punches and kicks using his Muay Thai background to good advantage. He knocks Jericho in the corner and climbs over to him, locking on a variant of the tarantula! The referee counts to 4 before Punk brings Jericho over to the apron. Punk positions Jericho’s head over the apron and goes over and stands on the announce table. Punk laughs, jumps and dropkicks Jericho’s head against the apron!
Jericho goes limp and falls under the bottom rope to the mat below. Punk is kneeling down, screeching in Jericho’s face while the crowd are chanting his name. Punk picks Jericho up and rolls him into the ring. Punk begins to climb to the top rope, and stares around at the crowd. Punk jumps; tucking up and then comes down with a wicked double stomp on Jericho’s chest! Punk bounces, rolling off and poses in the middle of the ring while Jericho rolls around in pain.
Punk crawls over but Jericho moves quickly, rolling the champion into a small package! 1…2…KICK-OUT! Jericho nips up before Punk can and nearly decapitates him with a clothesline. Jericho picks Punk up and raises him above his head. He powerbombs Punk down but lifts him up again for the double! Punk’s head bounces off with a thud, but Jericho refuses to cover him. He picks Punk up and nails him with a double arm DDT with shades of Cactus Jack there.
Jericho begins prodding the champion’s prone body with his foot and cockily covers him with a finger. The referee gets to 2 until Punk kicks up and brings Jericho down into an armbar. Jericho is screaming in pain while Punk is hyper-extended the arm of his opponent. Jericho tries to roll out but all it means is the pressure is sinking on more. Jericho is looking for a way out but rolls backward and begins kicking Punk in the face again and again until he finally let’s go.
Jericho rolls up, leaning against the ropes holding his arm. Punk is up and runs at Jericho but Jericho flips him over the top rope and Punk smacks his jaw off the guard rail. Jericho taps his head with his finger and rolls out under the ropes. He grabs Punk and drops him to the floor. Jericho leans back and slingshots the champion into the ringpost! Punk staggers backward but is met with a back elbow from Y2J back into it. Jericho grabs his tights and rolls him back in.
Jericho stands over CM Punk and slaps his head a couple of times before locking in a camel clutch. Punk’s eyes tell the story of pain as Jericho leans back further and further. Punk is screaming but manages to rolls over onto Jericho! The referee makes the cover but Jericho kicks out at 2. Punk picks himself up but Jericho is also up and hits the champion in the knees with a basement dropkick. Punk goes down as Jericho grabs his legs.
Jericho pulls Punk under and locks in the Walls of Jericho! Punk is screaming, inches from the ropes! We could have a new champion right here tonight! The crowd are booing like crazy; they don’t want Jericho as champion. Jericho tries to move forward but Punk is fighting it, using his superior leg strength to keep himself close to the ropes. Jericho pulls on Punk’s body more but Punk is suing his finger tips. Just as Jericho steps forward, Punk raises himself up and grabs the bottom rope!
The referee tells Jericho he must break the hold and he does so at the four count. Jericho is screaming at the referee and then at Punk. CM rolls to the middle of the ring and Jericho tries for a Lionsault but Punk moves, however Jericho lands on his feet. Jericho grabs Punk and knees him but places him on the top rope. Jericho stands up with him but Punk elbows him. Jericho crouches down and Punk puts him in a double underhook. Pepsi Plunge from the top rope! Punk drapes an arm over Jericho."1 . . . 2 . . . 3!"Punk slowly stands up, holding his back from the awesome match. Kurt Angle suddenly comes tearing through the curtain at full speed. He tosses the World Heavyweight Championship into the ring and slides in. Take down! Angle pummels Punk, drilling him with lefts and rights. Jericho watches on but quickly rolls out of the ring. As the two continue to brawl, Jericho gets on the microphone.Jericho: Hey, assclowns! Yeah, down here. You two can keep fighting, but come time at Darkness Falls . . . When you think you can get away with anything in the match . . . Think again. I am appointing myself as the OFFICIAL referee of that match. Good luck, assclowns!Jericho tosses the microphone down and makes his way up the ramp. Angle goes for the Angle Slam, but Punk escapes and slides out of the ring. Angle snatches up his title and raises it high above his head, letting Punk know that it belongs to him and no one else.

Not that I care, but I find it odd that me and my partner rp'ed and yet only Casey did and her team still won.

The reason for the lack of Dragon's match was because it was assigned to our "newest and most enthusiastic" writer Casey Kage, who decided to no-show. Great start for him, huh? Don't worry Dragon, you won your match.
