May 27th, 2006: RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE LIVE ON PPV: Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, Ohio
The clock ticks second after second away as millions of fans around the world sit impatiently waiting on their living room couches in front of a television. They wait for one of the grandest moments in history as a deep journey begins. Passing through a deep jungle forest many wild animals such as tigers, snakes, birds, monkeys , and all other sorts of wild life are spotted. With each turn through the dense forest a quick image flashes up revealing moments that have happened throughout the month, the debut of Saturday Night’s Main Event, the many long fought matches of Triple H and Chris Jericho and the intensity of each individual superstar. The forest suddenly begins to thin out and it suddenly cuts to live feed inside the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
Joey Styles: Ladies and Gentlemen, here we are at Rumble In The Jungle. It is an honor to be here tonight calling Saturday Night's Main Event's first Pay Per View ever.
Austin Owens: Joey, there Quicken Loans arena is slam packed tonight. Its like a bunch of sardines in this mug. Well folks, its May twenty-seventh and Rumble In The Jungle here baby!
Styles: Hold yourself Owens, we've got all night to go through. This is just the beginning of something spectacular ladies and gentlemen.
The camera quickly pans around the arena as the thousands of fans begin to go wild in the jungle. As the camera makes its way around the arena it quickly stops at the stage revealing a giant tiger head. The mouth of the tiger is open revealing all of its sharp teeth and through the middle of it is a deep dark tunnel leading backstage. Surrounding the massive tiger head are all different types of plants and trees. Flying freely through the arena are all types of tropical colorful birds. Suddenly a huge roar comes out from the tiger's head and green and gold pyros shoot out. With the huge explosions Paul Heyman suddenly appears on stage with a big smile across his face.
Paul Heyman: As you know, I like things hardcore and extreme. And this band…
Heyman pauses for a second as the crowd begins to buzz with excitement and anticipation.
Paul Heyman: This band really are extreme. Playing LIVE, the official Rumble In The jungle song, “Welcome To The Jungle”…..GUNS…AND…ROSES!
The crowd explode as giant black curtain falls revealing Axl Rose, Robin Finck, Richard Fortus, Tommy Stinson, Chris Pitman, Brain, Dizzy and Buckethead standing on a different stage, with the opening chords
"Welcome to the jungle We got fun 'n' games We got everything you want Honey we know the names We are the people that can find Whatever you may need If you got the money honey We got your disease
In the jungle Welcome to the jungle Watch it bring you to your shun n,n,n,n,,n,n,,n,n,n,,n,n,,n knees, knees I wanna watch you bleed
Welcome to the jungle We take it day by day If you want it you're gonna bleed But it's the price you pay And you're a very sexy girl That's very hard to please You can taste the bright lights But you won't get them for free In the jungle Welcome to the jungle Feel my, my, my serpentine I, I wanna hear you scream"
At that moment, Buckethead stops with the guitar and takes off his helmet and mask! He raises his guitar and nails Axl rose in the back! IT’S JAY HARGREVES FROM NHBWO! We thought he left months ago with a back injury! He has dumped Axl down off the stage. SHOOTING STAR LEG DROP! Jay Hargreves has ruined this performance, and he has came to SNME!
Styles: Oh My God!!!!!!!!
Owens: Who in the fu....hell is that???
Styles: Owens, thats Jay Hargreves from the NHBWO. We thought he retired from the wrestling business. What in the hell is he doing here?!?
A spitting sound blasts through the P.A. and the "COOL" sound of Carlito's music begins to play. He walks out in baby blue tights with dark blue boots. He is also wearing a baby blue t-shirt that reads "Do you spit or do you swallow?". As he steps out onto the stage he gently places his hands on his preciaous World Tag Team Championship safely fastened around his waist. He carries a nice shiny red apple in his hand and he begins to makes his way down the ramp. He finally reaches the ring after arguing with a few hot-headed fans and he begins to climb the steps. He walks across the apron and looks around at all the fans watching him move by move. He smirks at the crowd and quickly steps into the ring. He then places the apple in his corner and snatches off his t-shirt. Some girls on the front row scream for it and he plays like he is going to throw it to them. As they squeal at the sight of him he drops the shirt on the steps leaving them in dissapointment. "English Enigma" blares out over the P.A. system and the black curtain is suddenly slung open. Out walks Christopher PhoeniX with his signature leather jacket. He carries his World Tag Team Championship on his shoulder and quickly storms off to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and high fives Carlito. Both men raise the titles high as "If Ya Smelllllll What The Rock Is Cookin!!!!!!" echos throughout the arena. The fans quickly raise to the feet for the great one and he quickly comes storming out from behind the black curtain. He raises one arm as he begins to quickly pace down the ramp. He stops before reaching the ring and looks towards the entry way. He then looks back at Carlito and PhoeniX and then motions for someone. "Glass Shatters" sounds out and out walks the texas rattle snake "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. He immediately throws up his middle fingers and begins to make his way down to the ring. He reaches Rocky and both men slide into the ring.
All four men immediately begin to go at it as the referee tries to break things up. Rock shoves PhoeniX and he falls over the referee knocking him down. The ref quickly scurries to his feet and finally seperates all four men. Carlito and Rock are up first and both men lock up dead center of the ring. With all the force he can apply Rock shoves Carlito into the corner. He then begins to nail him with lefts and rights, one after the other. Carlito ducks and slams Rock face first on the turnbuckle. Rock's head bounces up and Carlito sends him bouncing off the ropes. He quickly hits stiff drop kick and Rock goes down. Austin begins to yell for him to get up and the crowd begins to chant "Rocky...Rocky...Rocky!!!" Rock kips up and blocks a left hand from Carlito. He then nails Carlito across the face and lifts his hand high in the air. He looks at his hand and acts as if he spits in it. With one swift move Rock slaps the living hell out of Carlito and sends him flying across the ring. PhoeniX makes the tag and jumps into the ring. He nails Rocky with spine buster and knocks Austin off the apron. With tons of Rage Austin attempts to enter the ring. With what force he has the ref holds him back as both Carlito and PhoeniC stomp and stomp away at Rock. With each blow to the ribs Rock yells in pain. Carlito exits the ring and Austin cools down in his corner. PhoeniX lifts Rock to his feet and quickly hits a snap suplex. Rocky graps his back in pain and reaches for Austin. Almost completely on the other side of the ring Austin outstretches his hand to. Rock begins to crawl but PhoeniX immediatly cuts him off with a kick to the side of the head. As Rocky lays there motionless the crowd begin to clap and yell for him.
PhoeniX begins locks in a submission and the crowd begins to yell even more. The Rock suddenly gets a burst of energy from the crowd and jolts out of the hold. He tags Austin and PhoeniX looks in shock. Austin quickly throws punches left and right as PhoeniX falls to the ground. Austin then begins to stomp away but luckily PhoeniX slips away to the outside. He bends over as he catches his breath and Austin goes out after him. He grabs hold of his hard and smashes him head first across the announce table.
Styles: The action has come our way Owens. Just look at this!
Owens: Austin go away!!! We don't need you ruining a perfectly good table.
Austin shoves PhoeniX down as Rock and Carlito begin to brawl in the ring. Austin walks over to the time keeper and quickly snatches open a cooler. He pulls out to cold brewskies and walks over to Owens. He then snatches off Owens headset and puts it on himself.
Austin: Listen here ya dumb sum bitch! "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is out here to whoop some ass and while I'm at it I might as well whoop your sorry carcass too. Now how bout that ya creppy litle bastard???
Owens is speechless and Austin pops the top on the two beers. He gets righ tin Owens face in begins to gulp both beers down at the same time.
Austin: Now here's your little heaset back you bastard.....
Austin snatches off the headset and shoots a bird right in Owens face. From behind Carlito comes out of nowhere and begins to nail Austin. He falls onto the table and Styles and Owens quickly back away. With punch after punch Carlito unleashes his fury on Austin. He then pulls him off the table and sends him head first into the ring post. His head is gashed open and blood begins to pour out. Carlito and PhoeniX quickly enter the ring and begin to beat down Rocky. After stomping him they pull him back up to his feet. From behind Carlito hits his signature back cracker and Rocky yells in more pain than before. PhoeniX locks in the camel clutch on Rock as Austin begins to stumble into the ring. Carlito slips to the outside behind Austin and goes over to the cooler. He takes out couple of cold beers and slides into the ring as Austin nails PhoeniX with a left. Carlito opens on of the beers and drops the others. He taps Austin on the shoulder and as he turns around Carlito spits the beer into his face. Blinded from the alcohol Carlito spins Austin around. He can't see very well and hits the stunner on none other than his own partner Rock. The Rock flops around and PhoeniX hits a cruel twist of fate on Austin. Austin goes down in a heap and PhoeniX covers him. The ref sloqly counts the 1...2...3!!!
WINNERS, AND STILL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: CARLITO CARIBBEAN COOL AND CHRISTOPHER PHOENIX
Carlito and PhoeniX kick Rock and Austin out of the ring and begin to make a mockery of them. They do their taunts and Carlito motions for some beer. They toss it to him but he throws down. He shakes his head no and motions for something else. They toss in some fresh apples and Carlito smiles. He also motions for their World Tag Team Titles and the ring announcer David Phipps slides them into the ring. Carlito and PhoeniX grab hold of their titles and raise them high as they bite into their apples. They quickly chew them up and exit the ring where Austin and Rock are attempting to recover. Getting even more boos than before Carlito and PhoeniX spit their chewed up apples in the faces of Austin and Rock. Both men laugh and smirk as Carlito's music plays. They disappear behind the curtain and head to their lockerooms.

Austin Owens: Now it’s time for the New Blood Showcase – 6 of the hottest young talents in the SNME and NHBWO
Joey Styles: Trevor Murdoch, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, Monty Brown, Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy. All in and around the ring at the same time, first pinfall or submission will win the match
Monty Brown’s music hits and tribesman begin to walk to the ring, playing drums and Monty Brown rises from the floor, covered in tiger fur. He raises his arms as pyros explode around him and he charges down into the ring. He is shaking himself out as Trevor Murdoch’s music begins to play. The ugly bastard walks down to the ring, spitting tobacco at some fans! He stays on the outside of the ring for the time being. Jeff Hardy’s music begins to play, but nobody comes from the entrance. Jeff starts to sprint down from the crowd, diving over the railings! He waits outside too as Jeff’s music stops and changes into the guitar riff of Brock Lesnar’s music. He jumps out onto the stage, and walks to the ring with a purpose. He jumps up onto the apron and goes nose to nose with Monty Brown in the ring. Rob Van Dam’s pyros explode and RVD bounds out of the entrance way with his trademark grin slapped firmly on his face. He walks to the ring, high-fiving fans as he goes. He rolls in and stands to the side of the power houses as the crowd is silent. Kurt Angle’s music hits and as the crowd join in for “you suck!” The Wrestling Machine walks to the ring. He rolls straight in and takes down Brock Lesnar and this match is on!
Kurt and Monty are brawling, RVD goes after Lesnar and Jeff Hardy has dove onto Trevor Murdoch on the outside! This is unbelievable action! Kurt and Monty are exchanging rights and lefts, each man mounting each other, rolling around on the mat. Lesnar has RVD up against the corner and is kneeing him in the rib cage again and again while Jeff is just running at Trevor, trying to take the big man down. Trevor grabs Jeff and rolls him in, but Jeff swings down on the rope and kicks Trevor in the face, sending him against the railing. Jeff then launches himself over the top rope onto Murdoch!
Monty is in control of Kurt on the right hand side of the ring however, and has him up high, then brings him crashing down with a vertical suplex. Kurt rolls out of the ring while on the opposite side, Lesnar throws RVD over the top rope. The 2 titans turn round and are facing off against each other in the middle of the ring! The crowd are buzzing, as both men look around before going nose to nose. Lesnar strikes first, and then Monty, and quickly the 2 are slugging it out! Before anything else can happen, Jeff spring boards onto the top rope, then flies off dropkicking both men! The crowd let their anger be known at the disruption of the face-off.
Jeff gets up, but Angle grabs his legs and takes him down, and then rolls in himself. Trevor Murdoch rolls in, followed by RVD and all 6 men are now in the ring! Angle is stomping on Jeff, but Trevor pushes him away and tells him Jeff is his. Angle backs off, and then slaps Trevor down over the top rope! RVD runs, and spears Angle through the rope however! Monty and Brock are back up but Monty has grabbed Jeff, and has thrown him through the ropes, and Monty is soon following. 5 men are brawling on the outside, but Brock is climbing the top rope. All look up at him, and then Brock jumps off with a shooting star plancha onto his opponents! All men scatter on the floor, and Brock staggers up. He grabs the nearest opponent, Jeff Hardy and throws him in the ring. Brock follows and picks Jeff up, raising him over his shoulders. Brock walks over to the turnbuckle and F5’s Jeff Hardy on the turnbuckle post! Jeff flies backward onto the arena floor as Trevor Murdoch walks in. He gets picked up and is F5’d on the mat too! Kurt gets in but he rolls to the side, and RVD jumps over the top rope onto Lesnar, taking him down. Angle goes over and both men start putting the boots in on Lesnar.
Monty Brown is up, but instead walks round to the other side. Jeff Hardy is up and Monty runs, and pounces Jeff into the ring post! Monty walks in and is crouching in position. Angle turns round and as Monty runs at him, he side steps Brown and Monty pounces RVD! Monty gets up and angle gets him in a body lock. German suplex, but Angle holds on. He rolls over and hits another, then rolls over again and hits the third suplex, but releases this time. Angle rolls around and slaps the ankle lock on Lesnar! Trevor Murdoch rolls in though and breaks it up before Brock can tap.
Brock rolls out but Trevor low blows angle and hits a double arm DDT! Angle rolls out of the ring, but Monty is in the corner once again! Trevor turns round and experiences THE POOOOOOOOOOOOOUNCE! Monty tries to hook the leg but Jeff Hardy has managed to get in and grabs Monty. He kicks him in the midsection and hits the twist of fate! Jeff climbs up to the top rope! SWANTON BOMB! Jeff stands up but RVD is in with a chair. He throws it at Jeff and hits the Van Terminator! RVD jumps up onto the top rope! 5 star frog splash! RVD rolls around in pain as Brock Lesnar limps in. He picks RVD up and F5’s him down over the top rope. He turns around into an ANGLE SLAM! Angle hooks the leg 1-2-3! Angle wins!
WINNER: KURT ANGLE
Joey Styles: What a fast-paced match! The action didn’t stop
Austin Owens: And what an ending, I didn’t know who would win! Great match up!

A distorted, palm-muted riff is played over the arena, a wah pedal coaxing it along. Finally, the riff erupts into the opening lines of Jimi Hendrix’s “Voodoo Chile.” Hulk Hogan comes strutting out, playing guitar on one of his boas. He flexes his muscles at the top of the ramp, then begins down it. He points to the crowd, then slides into the ring. He puts his hand to his ear, then begins the usual Hogan flexes. He flexes downward once, then once with one arm extended in the air, then the final time above his head. He takes off his boa as the music changes to a familiar beat.
John Cena’s own “My Time is Now” echoes through the arena as Cena steps out from behind the curtain, his Custom Title around his waist. He throws his hands in the air, slapping his fists together with his pinkies up. Cena begins down the rampway, rolling smoothly into the ring. He eyes Hogan and steps up to the turnbuckle. His hands are raised high over his head, as the crowd cheers. He steps down, removing his jersey and handing off his title. Human Tornado begins to walk out, but pyrotechnics explode beneath him, and he is burned to ashes.
Cena and Hogan stare eye to eye, as Hogan rips off his shirt, trying to intimidate Cena. John Cena laughs at Hulk’s desperate attempt to be tough, and gives him a hard swing that connects with the jaw. Hogan is knocked back, but is able to punch back, hitting John in the side of the face. Cena ducks another punch, and grabs Hogan from behind, giving him a german suplex. Hogan quickly gets up, ducking a clothesline from his opponent, then administering one of his own as Cena turns around. Cena rises quickly, then grapples with Hogan. Cena pushes his opponent into the corner.
After a few hard punches, Hogan is whipped across the ring to the other turnbuckle, where he finds John Cena jumping after him, giving him a full body splash. Hogan stumbles forward, and is cut down by a dropkick. Cena seems very energetic, ready to take on Hogan. Hulk stands up, and tries to clothesline Cena. John ducks, then blocks a hard punch, wringing the arm used to punch. Cena twists hard, then applies a hammerlock. Putting his foot in front of Hogan, Cena pushes him forward, and he falls into the ropes. Cena steps out onto the apron, and gives Hogan an elbow to the back of the head.
Hogan slowly begins to get up, when he finds a boot in the side of his stomach. Hogan is kicked again but refuses to go down. The third time, he shoots up to his knees, giving Cena the look. Hogan points at John Cena, then stands, as Cena backs off. Hulk gives Cena a clothesline, then waits for Cena to get up. The wait is not long, but the reaction is a kick in the stomach. Hogan gives John a DDT that drops him on his head. This slows the custom champion down significantly. He slowly rises and Hogan gives him a knee in the stomach.
Hogan begins calling for the leg drop as the crowd boo’s. Hulk Hogan whips Cena across the ring, and on the return trip gives him a big boot. Hogan slowly bounces off the ropes parallel to Cena, and runs toward him. Hogan jumps, his leg crashing into the chest of John Cena. Hogan attempts to pin his opponent, one. . . two . . . and John Cena kicks out. Hogan looks more than surprised as he begins arguing with the referee. Cena, behind him, slowly begins to stir. Once Cena is up, the referee finally dismisses Hogan, and Hulk turns around to meet a series of hard right hands.
After the impact of the punches, Hogan is already dazed. Cena runs to the ropes, and on his way back, gives Hulk Hogan a bulldog. Cena puts his fist to his chest, then falls on Hogan, impaling his fist into Hogan’s forehead. The process is yet again repeated. Finally, Cena dances a bit, then goes down to spin on his head before coming back up and dropping his fist again, completing the five knuckle shuffle. John Cena lifts himself up, then prepares to end the match.
Hogan slowly gets up, John Cena crouched over in the turnbuckle, waiting to pounce. When Hogan finally reaches a vertical base, Cena storms over to him, kicking him in the stomach. Lifting his opponent on his shoulders, Cena turns to each side of the crowd, offering Hulk Hogan as a sacrifice to them in a way. In one quick motion, Cena flips Hogan over his head, giving him an F-U. Cena pulls one of Hogan’s legs up as he crawls over Hogan, one. . . two. . . three.
WINNER, AND STILL CUSTOM CHAMPION: JOHN CENA
Cena is handed his title, then climbs onto the turnbuckle as the crowd cheers. He holds it high with one hand, pointing out all of his fans with the other. The show goes to a commercial.

The camera comes into a conference room where the three owners are sitting. Paul Heyman is on the right, Ryan Beyer is in the center, and Shawn Michaels is on the left. The camera focuses on Paul Heyman first.
Paul Heyman: “Ladies and gentlemen, we have a very special announcement for you. It is regarding SNME’s next Pay-Per-View. Ladies and gentlemen, on June 24th, we will bring you live from Las Vegas, Nevada, Seven Deadly Sins!”
The crowd begins cheering and the camera switches to Shawn Michaels.
Shawn Michaels: “Each match will take place at a casino, and go along with the theme of the casino. The casinos where each will be held at are Mandalay Bay, Caesar’s Palace, Treasure Island, MGM Grand, The Luxor, The Bellagio, and the Stratosphere.”
The crowd again cheers at the announcement, and wait patiently for the twist.
Ryan Beyer: “Each match will have something to do with the theme of the casino it is held at. And we aren’t talking simple stuff. No, we’re talking some of the most hellacious matches in history. These matches will be deadly.”
Paul Heyman again prepares to speak.
Paul Heyman: “At Mandalay Bay, the match will take place above the shark reef. The men will be on a mat only five feet from the surface of the water. There are no ropes or turnbuckles, and blood will sink straight through the mat into the water. At Caesar’s Palace, there will be a coliseum match, with weapons surrounding a large pit, where the only way to win is to have your opponent be given the thumbs down by the kind of hardcore, me.”
Shawn Michaels: “At Treasure Island, there will be a pirate ship match. However, there is a catch. Aside from the fog, there will be cannons going off around the participants. The only way to win is to climb to the highest mast. At the MGM Grand, there will be a money in the bank ladder match. Simple, right? Wrong. You’ll be starting just before the large stair-like part of the top of the casino, and you must climb each of those, and the ladder is at the highest point of the casino. The Luxor is a very special match. Under the Luxor, there is a replica of King Tut’s burial chamber. The two men will be fighting in there, and the only way to win is to close your opponent in the sarcophagus. And did I mention, the sarcophagus is filled with scorpions and beetles?”
Ryan Beyer: “At the Bellagio, there will be a large mat floating on the water. That is where the participants will wrestle. No big deal right? Wrong again. The mat is surrounded by shards of glass, pointing upwards. Falling into them means major damage, And finally, the Stratosphere will house the main event. It will take place at the top of the Stratosphere. It will be in a cage. The cage will be a complete cube other than one door which will be securely locked. The cage will hang over the side of the Stratosphere, with nothing but air between it and the ground. It will go in circles around the top of the Stratosphere while it spins around itself. As if standing won’t be hard enough.”
A picture flashes across the screen advertising for Seven Deadly Sins.

Austin Owens: and now it is time for one of the most brutal matches we will ever see in SNME, and also one of the most important. The final of the 2006 Paul Heyman Hardcore Cup Tournament
Joey Styles: This is going to be insane my friends. There is a structure, built onto the apron of the ring, stretching the perimeter of the ringside area, made out of metal. On each of the 4 sides is a pit, with glass on top, filled with just sick weapons
Austin Owens: In one pit, thumbtacks on a barbed wire board. In another, a bed of sharpened pencils, this is commonly used in King of the Deathmatch tournaments, and hurts more than it sounds. In a third, a board of razor wire! And the fourth will be filled with various weapons, light tubes, rolls of barbed and razor wire, brass knuckles, WEED WHACKERS, cans of gasoline, lighters
Joey Styles: And along the walk way, are MORE weapons! And also, a ladder; for to win this match you must climb to the top and pull down the briefcase. The “winner” shall we say gets a SNME World Heavyweight Title Shot that the winner can use at any time they wish for up to 6 months
Austin Owens: It’s the first ever Stairway To Heaven, Pit Of Hell Deathmatch! At the stage, Paul Heyman’s music hits and the Evil Genius himself salutes the crowd, before going over to the announce table and joining Austin & JoeyPaul Heyman: This is my baby Joey and Austin, this is what I’ve worked so hard for. And you know what? I have more ideas gentlemen, to wreck havoc on SNME, one of which will be seen properly next Saturday night on Saturday Night’s Main Event
Joey Styles: Give us a clue! Come on Paul
Paul Heyman: Now that would be telling…The camera pans over to the stage where we hear a brass horn blowing and JBL’s limo start to drive around the corner, parking at the side of the ramp. JBL steps out himself first, with a look of determination on his face. He walks down to the ring, and up the stairs onto the structure. He walks around on the metal parts, peering in at the 4 Pits of Hell. He gets in to the ring and takes off his head and jacket and stares solemnly at the stage. HEY! “Burn In My Light” by Mercy Drive starts to blare out onto the arena and Randy Orton struts out onto the stage. He raises his arms but as he does that, fire starts to rise around him too, as if Orton is controlling it. He puts his hand down as his other pyro comes down from the ceiling and a gap in the fire emerges for Randy to walk through. The Legend Killer struts to the ring, looking at the ladder, and then going up the steps onto the structure himself. He jumps over the top rope as the music fades out and the bell is rung
Randy and JBL pace round each other, trying to psyche each other out. Randy steps forward for a right hand but JBL leans back, then comes forward with a clothesline, sending Orton to the floor. Orton scrambles up to his knees but is booted down by JBL again. As Orton is trying to get up again, JBL grabs him and tosses him into the turnbuckles! Orton falls down with a thump, and JBL comes over with a knee drop to the side of the head. Orton holds his temple as JBL smirks and goes outside. He grabs a chair which is handily by the stairs and comes back in the ring as Orton is standing, then unleashes a vicious chair shot right to Randy’s head! A sickening thud echoes round the arena and Orton goes straight down to the mat and JBL throws down the chair. He picks up Orton and has him in a powerslam position, then throws him down onto the chair. Orton holds his back in pain and rolls out onto the metal. JBL looks around then goes out with him. He grabs Orton but Orton elbows him in the gut. Orton connects with an elbow to the face, then a slap! The crowd “Ooooh” collectively as Orton boots JBL in the gut, then hip tosses him over the edge to the concrete floor in the stands! There is a crack, but JBL just stays there lying on the floor. Orton sticks his head through the ropes and grabs the chair, then begins to climb the top turnbuckle. Orton jumps, and double stomps the chair into JBL’s mid section, then rolls over onto his feet! JBL is moving now, rolling around holding his ribs as Orton raises his arms once more. He grabs the chair again and as JBL is on his feet, Orton throws the chair right at the Texan’s face! Good God, JBL is just there, limp, but isn’t falling down. Orton grabs the chair again and punts it into JBL’s face again, which does send him down. Orton looks around, then grabs JBL and throws him onto the structure from the fans. Orton gets up onto it himself, and looks at the pit nearest him – the barbed wire and thumbtacks one. He starts to laugh and bends down to grab a chair, but JBL is back up and kicks Orton in the face, sending him shooting back into the turnbuckle post. JBL chops Orton in the chest, then again and again, turning his bare chest a shade of pink. Orton whimpers as JBL grabs him by the throat and lifts him up like a military press. He stands over the pit, and then drops Orton, sending him face first into the barbed wire board, through the glass! The first holy shit chant emerges, as Orton tries to pick himself up, but keeps himself putting his hands on the wire. It is hooked onto his skin, and there are thumbtacks embedded in his face! JBL grabs him and viciously pull him out, and rolls him into the ring. JBL grabs a set of gloves from the announcer and grabs the board from the pit, with shards of glass still on it and pulls it up and into the ring! The pits are about 2 foot deep it seems, and in that one are remains of thumbtacks and glass. JBL grabs Orton, who is bleeding from his stomach, chest, arms and face, and boots him down to the mat. JBL laughs and picks up Orton’s lifeless body, and tells him that this is over, and he puts him in between his legs. JBL lifts him up for a powerbomb but Orton starts punching him. JBL moves around and Orton shifts his weight, sending JBL back first onto the board with all of Orton’s weight on top of him! Orton jumps straight up out of it, while JBL just lays there in the wire! JBL isn’t making any noise but you can tell he wants to scream, while a sadistic, bloody Orton is smirking in the corner. Orton gets up, then jumps onto JBL, then off again, then pulls him off. JBL’s back is shredded up, blood is streaming out of some of his wounds. Orton rolls out of the ring and grabs a bag from the walk way. He goes into the ring and pulls out a knife and fork, a lemon and salt. What the hell are they doing there? With JBL lying on the mat, Orton cuts the lemon in half and squeezes it into the wounds! JBL screams in pain, but Orton puts his foot on JBL’s neck so he can’t move. Orton grabs the salt and just pours it over JBL’s back, who is nearly crying. This is just sick and depraved!Joey Styles: That is just plain cruel, how can one man do that to another?
Paul Heyman: It’s for power, can’t you see that?JBL is hysterical, rolling around, raising his back from the mat while Orton is laughing. He grabs the fork and picks JBL up. He tires to stab JBL in the head with the fork but JBL ducks and grabs the glass bottle of salt. JBL turns round and smashes it over Orton’s head, sending the salt into all of Orton’s head wounds! JBL lies back against the ropes while Orton is screaming, holding his head. Orton tries to grab a bottle of water but JBL gets back up, grabs the fork and starts stabbing it into Orton’s head! Orton rolls out by the pit of sharpened pencils and JBL follows. He has him for a powerbomb again but Orton reverses it into a back body drop through the pit onto the pencils! JBL lets out a yell, as the pencils jab into him. He might have lead poisoning, I don’t know, but he looks in a bad way. Orton smirks, and grabs JBL out of the pit, but there are pencils sticking right out of his back, some are in his leg and some are in earlier wounds! Orton is grabbing the board while JBL is taking the pencils out of himself. He has them all in his hand and when Orton gets in, he gets them right in his head! Orton staggers back, going through the ropes, by an open pit, filled with tacks and glass. JBL runs and dives through the ropes and both men fall into the pit! Another Holy Shit chants break through, JBL showed agility there, but also may of killed both men, as they are not moving! Both men are on their side, away from each other. There is stirring going on and JBL raises an arm over the side and pulls himself up. He staggers down the stairs and grabs the ladder. He starts moving towards ringside with it, and throws it into the ring. He sets it up as Orton is just stirring. JBL is beginning to climb while Orton is just in the ring. JBL is near the top but Orton has got a hold of the ladder! He pushes it and JBL crotches himself on the top rope, before falling to the side into where the pit of pencils was. JBL is lying in an empty pit, holding his crotch and Orton is all alone in the ring! He could do it here! He grabs the ladder but instead, shuts it. He goes outside the ring with it and sets it up on the metal. He grabs JBL and starts to pull him up, then starts to shove him through the ladder, climbing up the other side. They are by the pit full of weapons, light tubes, weed whackers etc. Orton grabs JBL round the neck, his back to him. Orton jumps, and RKO’s JBL right into the god damn pit! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! Orton’s legs are up against one side, and JBL’s the other. Both men are writhing in the mess of objects everywhere, and they appear to be unconscious! Orton starts to move, rolling backwards onto JBL. He pulls himself up, and grabs JBL too, but he doesn’t see JBL grab a light tube. Orton grabs JBL up but he swings and smashes the tube over Orton’s leg! Orton winces and goes down in pain, and JBL breaks the remaining part into Orton’s face! JBL grabs about 3 and keeps hitting home run swings into Orton’s face, the last one sending him down on his back. JBL grabs the ladder and throws it in the ring. He sets it up, as Orton crawls into the ring, grabbing a pizza cutter! JBL is beginning to climb, but Orton scrambles in and pulls JBL down, low blowing him aswell. JBL is on his knees, like Orton, ad Orton slices JBL across the forehead with that razor sharp pizza cutter! JBL screams, as blood is starting to gush from his head. JBL rolls around as Orton is beginning to climb, but he can’t see JBL. As Orton is climbing slowly, JBL gets to his knees and grabs the barbed wire board, and throws it at Orton’s back! Orton screams, and JBL pulls him down onto it! Orton just fell about 8 foot down onto a bed of barbed wire! God damn! JBL has the perfect opportunity to climb but instead goes to the pit of weapons and grabs a bag. He goes over to the one remaining pit and pours THUMBTACKS out of the bag onto the glass! He goes into the ring, then back out into the pit and grabs a 2x4. He grabs a can of gasoline and begins to pour it over the top, while Orton is getting up. He strikes a match and the 2x4 is on fire. He puts the gas and lighter in the ring and goes in for Orton. Orton low blows JBL and grabs the 2x4 though. JBL staggers up…BAM! JBL gets nailed with the flaming 2x4! Orton grabs the gasoline and puts it on the barbed wire board. God no…Orton places the 2x4 to the board and it goes up in flames! Orton nudges it under the ropes over an empty pit and grabs JBL. They both go outside. Orton grabs him and RKO’S JBL RIGHT THROUGH THE BARBED WIRE BOARD! The flames go out and the board snaps in 2! Orton squirms, he just missed the barbed wire board, and he is the first out! Orton rolls in and begins to set the ladder up, while JBL is trying to get out! Orton is staggering up the ladder as JBL rolls in. JBL is at the foot of the ladder and begins to climb up too. He puts his hand between the rungs and low blows Orton, and is up to level pegging with him! JBL grabs the briefcase and swings it into Orton’s face, sending him back against the ropes! Orton bounces off of them, into the ladder, which wobbles. Orton starts to push, as JBL is screaming for him not too! JBL FALLS OVER THE TOP ROPE THROUGH THE THUMBTACKS AND GLASS ONTO A RAZOR WIRE NET! GOOD GOD! The crowd go insane, JBL is mangled in the wire! Orton sets up the ladder and steadily begins to climb! He grabs the swinging briefcase and unhooks it, jumping to the mat with it! Orton wins! Orton wins!WINNER OF THE 2006 HARDCORE CUP TOURNAMENT: RANDY ORTONOfficials rush to the ring as Burn In My Light begins to play again. They try to help JBL out of the razor wire, as Paul Heyman has a microphone and begins to walk to the ring with a large trophy, and a microphone. Officials help pick up Orton as Heyman begins to speakPaul Heyman: In all my life I have never seen a match that brutal in all my life. Randy Orton, you have earned this trophy, and you are the winner of the First annual Paul Heyman Hardcore Cup Tournament. And Randy, you now have a GUARENTEED World Title shot, valid for up to 6 months. That was a 45 minute war, and there’s only one thing I can say. Thank you sir!Paul Heyman raises Randy’s hand and hands him the trophy as the fans chant “That Was Awesome!”, “Thank You Randy!” and “Best Match Ever!”Austin Owens : I have never seen anything like that in my life, 45 minutes of blood, sweat, tears. That was insane
Joey Styles: Thank you Randy and thank you JBL, for one of the best matches I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. Thank you

An upbeat R&B rhythm explodes through the speakers in the form of “The Big Bad Booty Daddy.” Scott Steiner takes a few steps out from the curtain and pulls on something. He drags Ashley out by the arm, obviously taunting his opponent. Ashley is dragged down to the ring and forced to watch Steiner flex. Just before the ring, Scott forcefully kisses her, the poor girl trying to push him away. He lifts her into the ring before climbing in himself. He brings her arm up with his, then shoves her out of the ring. Ashley looks up at him with bitter resentment, waiting for Batista.
Saliva’s “Unleashed” screams through the arena, the crowd waiting for some kind of movement at the top of the ramp. After a few seconds, Steiner turns around, frantically looking for Batista. The lights suddenly fall, and a spotlight shines directly on Steiner. Finally, the spotlight spreads to all four corners of the barrier and the bottom of the ramp, revealing five identical Batistas, only different in the color of their trunks. The lights come back up, and Scott Steiner is confused, as well as Ashley. The Batista at the top of the ramp is wearing gray trunks, the one to his closest right black. On his left, nearest to him, the Batista wears maroon. On the far side of the barriers, the Batista to the right of the originally mentioned Batista is wearing gold shorts, and the one on the left wears white. The four at the corners of the barrier dive under the ring, as the gray Batista slides into the ring.
Steiner is still confused, and is watching his back. He complains to the referee, but the referee says he can’t do anything, because none of the others have interfered yet, and he can’t prove that they’re different people. Steiner is forced to swallow his fear and go along with the match, even though it is not in his favor. This first Batista throws a hard punch, knocking Scott down immediately. Steiner pulls himself up quickly, trying to act tough, when, in reality, his leg are shaking in fear. The damage that five men can do to him is truly immeasurable, and he realizes this.
Steiner takes his own swing at Batista, but it is blocked, and Batista wraps his hand around Steiner’s neck. He backs him into the corner, quietly screaming at him, reprimanding him for kidnapping Ashley. Batista throws him across the ring, Steiner landing in the corner. The Animal charges to the other side of the ring, giving Scott Steiner a hard clothesline. The force is so great that Batista goes over the top rope. Steiner looks down and sees that Batista may have been knocked out. Upon getting out of the ring, Scott stares down at Batista, bending over to insult him. Steiner finds another hand around his neck and realizes his mistake.
Batista stands and is wearing black trunks. He tosses Scott Steiner into the ring, who gets up quickly. He is able to clothesline the new Batista, but must be careful to avoid knocking him out of the ring. The crowd is shocked, but the referee seems like he doesn’t realize the situation. The new Batista rises, giving a few hard shots to Steiner before lifting him, then slamming him into the mat with a body drop. Batista lifts his opponent up, and flings him across the ring. On the return trip, Batista gives him a sidewalk slam, Steiner’s head bouncing off of the mat. Ashley may not know which one is the real Batista, but she loves them all at this point.
The Batista in Black attempts to pin Steiner, but Scott kicks out at two. Batista stands, his opponent following suit. Steiner and Batista grapple, resulting in Steiner being pushed to the corner. Steiner is lifted onto the turnbuckle on the left of the ramp, and it appears Batista is going to give him a superplex. Instead, Batista grabs him by the neck and steps over the top rope, preparing him for a chokeslam. Batista lifts, and the two men drop to the floor below, Steiner landing hard, as well as Batista. Batista now emerges wearing maroon trunks.
Steiner is hoisted into the ring as the referee is confused as to how Batista can keep going after such a fall, even being on the offensive side of it. Batista whips Scott Steiner across the ring, giving him a hard clothesline. Batista then lifts his opponent, turns him around, and gives him a back-body drop. Even though he is practically dead, Steiner still looks confused. Batista grabs both legs of Steiner, falling backwards, sending his opponent flying. Steiner lands in the turnbuckle to the far left of the ramp. Batista lifts his opponent above his head as if to give him a gorilla press, but instead launches his opponent over the top rope, Steiner landing on the barrier.
Batista drops to the floor, appearing to have tripped. When he arises, Batista is wearing white trunks. He lifts Steiner, then backs up a few feet. Batista runs full-speed into his opponent, knocking him through the barrier with a spear. Batista lifts his opponent, and irish whips him straight into the post, causing him to start bleeding profusely. Steiner is as good as dead. Batista lifts his bloody opponent into the ring, ready to capitalize on the damage already done. The referee looks surprised as Batista now wears gold trunks.
Batista appears ready to finish the match. He puts Scott Steiner on his shoulders, dropping him with a fireman’s carry. The Animal lifts his opponent, leaning him against the ropes, then shooting him off to the other side of the ring. As Steiner returns, he is flipped into the air and given a spinebuster. After arching his back in pain, he finds a leg come crashing down across his sternum. Batista does not go for the pin, but instead props his opponent up. Batista charges his opponent, giving him a hard clothesline that sends Steiner flying. Batista rolls out of the ring, and now wears black.
Batista waits for his opponent to get up, and when he does, Batista charges full steam at him, giving him another clothesline from hell. Batista again rolls out of the ring, and reemerges in maroon. Steiner gets up a bit faster, and as soon as he does, is torn down by another clothesline. He is oblivious to the fact that the Batistas are trading off. The next to emerge is white. He stands to find Batista again charging him, when he is mowed down by another clothesline. Batista rolls out of the ring, and the Batista in gray is waiting for him. He sprints at full speed towards his opponent, nearly taking his head off. Batista lifts one of his legs, placing it on Scott Steiner’s chest. The referee counts, one. . . two. . .three.

The cameras cut backstage where Batista is spotted in the hallway celebrating. He has just won the Rising Star Championship and is extremely happy. The look of excitement fills his face as he delivers loving hug to his manager Ashely. she kisses his cheek and congratulates him on his big win. As Batista talks to some of the boys backstage Ryan Beyer approaches him. Beyer shakes Batista's hand and begins to speak.
Beyer: Good job out there man. You put on a stellar performance and deserve this belt like no other. Dave, you certainly are a superstar like no other, and this title signifies your rising to the top. Hell, sooner than you know you'll be fighting for the World Championship and beating guys like Triple H.
Batista: Thanks Ryan. I really appreciate the opportunity you and Shawn gave me to fight for this title and I didn't let you guys down. I went out there and got the job done. It feels great to be wearing this glorious title round my waist and even better to have my number one lady by my side again.
Batista kisses Ashley on the head and pulls her close to him. Ryan pats Batista on the shoulder and smiles.
Beyer: Batista, I've always believed you were an extrordinary wrestler and tonight you've proved it. You're the man, and there's nothing to stop you from rising to the top. Keep up the good work Dave, you're truly an awesome superstar.
From behind, the head of a sledge hammer is suddenly slammed into the side of Batista's head. Beyer looks on in shock and Ashely storms off in fright. The hammer then nails Ryan Beyer sending him to the ground. Out of the shadows steps the attacker revealing himself as "The Game" Triple H. Triple H drives the hammer upside the head of Beyer and kicks him to the side. He then slings his hair back and looks deep into the camera.
HHH: Jericho, just like these two, I'm going to make your night a living hell. I'm going to destroy you Jericho, and after tonight you'll be lying in the hospital cippled from the exhastion. You've come to a road block Chris and tonight, your chance is up. Just look at this idiot Batista. He thinks that because he beat Scott Steiner that he's the best man in this business.
Triple H kneels down beside Batista and places the head of the hammer on Batista's cheek. He looks deep into his eyes and begins to speak.
HHH: Dave, don't even get your hopes up. I am "The Game" and I came to play. You're falling to the bottom not rising to the top. I could've beaten all five of you in that ring without any hesitation. Just like that moron Ryan Beyer over there, you're going nowhere. Jericho, make this match your best because you're not going to survive it!
Triple H then smashes the hammer into the camera and it cuts to static. Suddenly it switches to a camera standing by with Joey Styles and Austin Owens.
Styles: Ladies and Gentlemen, you've witness the crowning of the Rising Star Championship, but not only that. you witnessed the rage of a nervous Champion.
Owens: Thats right Joey. We just saw what Triple H is planning to do to Jericho tonight in the Lion's Den. Will it happen? We'll have to see in the main event, but right now we've got ourselves an Intercontinental Championship match.
Styles: We've got a big news update ladies and gentlemen. Due to the recent releases of workers Justin Tyger and Christopher Nowinski, co-owner Shawn Michaels has mad eit CM Punk vs Sting for the Intercontinental Championship.
Owens: Well thats one hell of an update. CM Punk gets one more shot to beat Sting.
"Straight Edge" blares through the arena and outwalks CM Punk. A spotlight shines down on him as he crosses both arms to form an "X" across his chest. The fans do it in unison with him as flashes go off all around. Punk releases the pose and begins to make his way down the ramp. He slaps the hands of a few fans and slides into the ring. He climbs the turnbuckle and does the "X" pose again. Suddenly the lights go out and an image of a scorpion appears across the screen.
The sound of thunder echos through the arena and lightning begins to flash. Suddenly a spotlight shines into the rafters revealing the man called "Sting".
The Lightning suddenly begins to quickly flash again as Metallica's "Seek and Destroy" shreds through the arena. The heavy guitar sound brings the crowd to life and suddenly the sea of people raises to their feet. Out from the shadows a dark figure appears. A long black trench coat drapes the ground with each step he takes. Long black hair covers his face. The man slings his hair back reveailig the shite and black face paint. With the black baseball bat in his hand he points to the crowd. The fans begin to scream his name he places both hands over his mouth as he begins to yell. A smirk appears across the Stinger's face as he begins his journey to the ring. He swiftly walks to the ring as his long coat flaps in the slight breeze flowing through the arena. He walks up the steps and quickly makes his way into the ring. He climbs the turnbuckles as he drops his bat. He places his hands around his mouth and yells time and time again into the crowd. They yell back and the Stinger becomes more and more excited. He climbs down from the turnbuckle and snatches off his long coat. He kicks the bat to the outside and stands dead center of the ring. The music fades and all the lights return to normal. The yelling of fans echos through the arena and Sting motions for more noise. They deliver well and all begin to chant "Stinger...Stinger...Stinger". Sting smirks and CM Punk begins to circle him.
The bell sounds and Sting and Punk lock arms. Both men attempt to push the other but neither man budges. They break the hold and circle eachother once again. Punk quickly swings, but Sting ducks it. He sends Punk off the ropes and as he comes back Sting close lines him to the mat. He then drops and elbow across his chest and rises back to his feet. As Sting stands tall he pounds on his chest and yells into the crowd. Punk quickly gets to his feet and shoves Sting in the corner. He chops him across the chest and Sting absorbs the pain. He chops him again and once more Sting feels no pain from it. Punk then begins to give Sting stiff shots to the chin but they have no affect. Sting retaliates back with a shot to the throat and puts Punk in the corner. He chops away and Punk's chest quickly turns a bright red. With each chop Punk yells in pain.
Sting runs to the opposite side of the ring and motions for the Stinger Splash. He takes off running and leaps into the air. Before he can collide with Punk, he ducks out of the corner. Sting connects with the turnbuckle and holds his ribs. Punk then lifts him up for a back body drop. Punk jumps up and begins to drive elbow after elbow into the chest of Sting. Sting rolls to the outside and catches his breat. Suddenly Punk comes flying over the top rope and crashes down on the Stinger. Both men collide with the barricades, and both are attempting to make it to their feet. As they stand face to face they both swing at the other. They connect with eachother and Sting sends Punk into the barricade. He then takes off sprinting and takes a flying leap. Punk ducks and Sting splashes the barrcades. As he falls to the groune he grasps his abdomen. He is in tremendous pain, but he still makes it to his feet. Both men crawl into the ring and stand tall to one another. Punk attempts to punch Sting but its blocked. The Stinger turns Punk around and its him with a desperate Scorpion Death Drop. Punk's head bounces off the mat as he grinds his teeth in pain. Sting lays there next to his victim and slowly makes it to his feet. He pulls Punk up and drags him to the corner. Sting places him on the top turnbuckle and attempts to throw him off but it is reversed. Punk pulls Sting up and drives him to the mat with a Pepsi Plunge. Barely able to move he makes the cover. The referee then counts the 1....2....
Styles: Could this be it?!? Could CM Punk be crowned new Intercontinental Champion???
Owens: Kickout!!!! Sting kicked out!!!
The crowd begins to cheer and a powerful energy begins to flow through Sting's body. He starts to shake and CM Punk begins to throw stiff punches to Sting's chin. Punch after punch, Sting absorbs the pain. He feels nothing. He shoves Punk into the corner and flexes his muscles. He then makes and agry face and begins to pound on his chest. Sting chops and chops away at Punk who is now out of it. Sting jogs to the opposite corner of the ring and takes of sprinting once more. This time he connects with a Stinger Splash. The fans cheer and cheer so Sting gives him another one. With almost nothing left in his body CM Punk falls helplessly to the ground. Sting drags him to the center of the ring and grabs hold of his legs. He then locks in the Scorpion Death Lock and CM Punk is out like light. The referee calls for the bell and Sting is the victor. He falls to the mat in pure agony and holds his aching body. With almost all of his face paint wiped off Sting holds the belt high above his head. The fans give him a standing ovation as he makes his way to the back on his own. As he is about to make his way onto the stage "Burn In My Light" by Mercy Drive suddenly echos through the arena. Sparks shoot up from the stage and Sting falls backwards onto the metal ramp way. The sparks suddenly stop and Sting makes it to his feet. He begins to look all around him just in case Orton is lerking near by. As he makes his way through the curtain the sound of equipment banging around is heard. The clatter finally stops and Orton's music slowly fades away.
WINNER, AND INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION: STING
Styles: Ladies and Gents, what a night it has been, and to think....it still isn't over.
Owens: Thats right folks. We've got one more match left for you and it is going to be brutal. We've got the challenger Chris Jericho in one corner and we've got the World Heavyweight Champion Triple H in the other. These square off next in the LION'S DEN!!!

Above the ring sits a cage that slowly lowers to surround it on all sides, other than the top. One of the most brutal matches in history is going to begin shortly. The lights come down; the crowd is silent. A countdown, starting from five, centering itself between a Y and a J slowly begins. It stops at two. Destroying the silence everywhere, Saliva’s “King of My World” explodes through the arena, as Chris Jericho stands with his back to the crowd and his arms outstretched. He slowly turns around, pulling his arm down. He motions to the crowd a few times as the lights have come back up, and begins down the ramp. He stares deep into the structure that could be the end of his career. Before entering, he looks down and waits. After a few seconds, he looks up, a fire in his eyes. He steps into the caged ring, waiting for his opponent.
Again, the lights fall on the arena, and an utter quiet is disrupted by Drowning Pool’s “The Game.” The world watches in awe as Triple H walks out, his title around his waist, and a water bottle in his hand. He looks larger than life, a steady smirk across his face. He is confident in his abilities to destroy Chris Jericho, finally tossing the burden off of his back. Triple H takes a few quick sips from his water bottle before throwing it into the crowd behind him. He walks up the steps to enter the cage, turning around at the top of them. He looks at the crowd, only feet away from him, before spraying them with a mist of water. He turns around after handing his belt to the referee. There is no turning back now for either man, as the door shuts and is locked. The Lion‘s Den is ready, a match where one can only win by knocking your opponent out or making them submit.
The two men approach each other slowly, Triple H still smirking and Chris Jericho looking very serious. The two argue quietly, and Triple H is heard screaming “bitch” before slapping Jericho across the face. Jericho turns back around with a smirk on his face, and throws a hard punch at Triple H, knocking him backwards but not down. Their destinies are going to be determined in this match, making this a match neither man can afford to lose. Triple H fires back with his own punch, which also sends Jericho backwards. If either man plans on winning, they must stay on guard, and be ready to strike at any moment.
Triple H will take the first offensive, shoving his knee into the stomach of Chris Jericho, completing the move with a headlock. Jericho backs himself to the ropes, sending Triple H across the ring. When Triple H hits the ropes, he also slams into the cage, causing him to stumble forward. Jericho sees this opportunity and takes it, smashing Hunter down with a clothesline. The world champion falls, but quickly gets back up. Triple H sees Chris Jericho running towards him, and takes a step in. Delivering a hard punch, Triple H gets his opponent to fall using his momentum.
Like sharks, each man has previously shown his teeth and used them, drawing blood in the form of three-counts. However, the key in this match is to, like MacHeath, make sure that there isn’t red, and only submission or knock out. Each man knows this, and appears to be saving his energy. The seconds between moves drag on, until the next man moves. Triple H now backs Jericho into the corner, and rakes his eyes across the ropes. The Game then flings Jericho through the middle rope, into the cage. Chris bounces off but is quick to recover.
Standing, Jericho realizes that Triple H is no where to be found, and is suddenly lifted off of his feet. Triple H gives Chris a german suplex, as it becomes more and more apparent at what Triple H is trying to attack. Triple H sits his opponent up, and gets down on one knee. Triple H gives Chris Jericho the sleeper hold, sitting for several seconds before Jericho falls to his side. After a few more seconds, Jericho is able to force himself back up to the sitting position. Finally, Jericho rolls himself over so that he ends up on one knee. Triple H is surprised and locks the hold in tighter, but Hunter is unable to stop Chris from rising to his feet.
Unfortunately, the new position doesn’t give Jericho much room to move, but he finds the way out by quickly bending over, sending Triple H flying over his back. The first attempt to win of the night was unsuccessful, but it would help to pave the way for the winner. Triple H gets up as Chris Jericho regains his composure, and Chris dropkicks Hunter. Jericho lifts Triple H to his feet, wringing his arm, then kicks him at the knee. With a twisted arm, Triple H finds himself victim to a hard kick in the back of the head. Chris then gives him an elbow drop, nearly popping Triple H’s arm out of it’s socket. Jericho delays his standing a few seconds, but it appears he has time to spare. Once Chris stands, Triple H is not far behind. Jericho approaches and gives Triple H a body slam. Hunter arches his back in pain as Chris Jericho kicks him in the side, obviously trying to weaken his opponent in as many places as possible. Jericho gives a final hard kick before letting up, and recognizing the crowd between the cage. Triple H slowly gets up and Chris Jericho pushes him to the ropes. Chris whips Triple H across the ring, but soon finds the move reversed, and he is sent across the ring.
Triple H lifts Chris Jericho on his return, sending him into the cage, where Chris falls. It looks like the move may have caused a good amount of damage, as Jericho barely moves. Triple H drags him to the center of the ring, and sits his opponent up. This time, instead of a sleeper hold, Hunter gives him a surfboard, his opponent yelping in pain. After a minute or so, Chris Jericho lifts his knee up, as well as the other, so he is in a kneeling position. From there, he rises to his feet, Triple H again impressed at his resilience. Jericho gives his opponent a kick in the groin, the painful hold finally being broken off. Jericho rests on the ropes as Triple H falls to his knees.
Jericho walks to Triple H, and gives him a hard, but lazy kick in the side of the head. Chris Jericho lifts his opponent to his feet, and kicks him in the stomach. Jericho runs to the other side of the ring, and on his way back, gives Triple H a bulldog. It appears, however, that Hunter caught himself, but he still lays on the ground. As Jericho runs to the ropes, Triple H stands, and when he jumps to spring off of them, The Game shoves his opponent into the cage, which Chris bounces off of and lays nearly motionless on the floor.
The Game lifts his arms in the air, taunting Chris Jericho. It appears the Triple H now plans to finish the match, and he grabs the leg of Jericho. Pulling his opponent to the center of the ring, Hunter straddles and twists the leg of Jericho, then falls and completes the figure-four leg lock. Jericho shows the pain on his face, letting a short scream out every few seconds. He falls backwards, but makes sure not to stay down too long. Finally, he decides that he must find a way out of the hold. He looks around him, and seeing that he is centered in the ring, he decides that over is the best way to go.
Chris Jericho rolls to the side of his straight leg, but is unable to make it over. Triple H stays firm, trying not to allow Chris to move. After a few more unsuccessful tries to the side of his straight leg, Jericho gives up on that direction. He tries the other way, but experiences a new world of pain. However, Triple H was forced to move with him, so after a few seconds of recovery, Chris Jericho tries again. This time he rolls completely over, onto his hands and knees, reversing the pressure in his favor. The two finally break apart and lay on the mat, each tired. Finally, they both pull themselves up.
Chris Jericho slams the head of Triple H into the cage, then rakes his forehead against it, causing him to start bleeding. The crimson mask now begins to take over Triple H’s face as he is backed into the corner and repeatedly punched. Finally, Jericho backs off of him and lets him fall. Triple H is dragged to the center of the ring, where Jericho idly stands. His opponent uses his leg to attempt to get up, but Chris Jericho swats Triple H down. After a few light stomps, Jericho again finds a pulling at his leg. This time, however, Triple H gives him an unsuspected, but ironically deserved low blow.
Triple H crawls slowly to the ropes, gripping them with all of his might to pull himself up. He watches Jericho slowly get to one knee, and stand. Triple H takes off running, giving his opponent a hard jumping knee to the face, causing Chris Jericho to begin his share of bleeding. Both men are now bleeding, a new drive beginning by the blood that streams over their eyes. Triple H gives Chris Jericho a series of right hands, ending in Chris falling. Triple H lifts Chris Jericho and kicks him in the stomach, signaling for the end. Jericho finds his head between Triple H’s legs, and his hands pulled behind his back. Triple H falls, hitting a pedigree.
The Game, upon getting up, raises his hands to the crowd, obviously very sure of his victory. He goes to each side of the ring, everyone observing that Jericho hasn’t moved. The match is close to over, Triple H will retain his title. He sneaks up behind Jericho and sits him up, locking in the sleeper hold. Shawn Michaels begins strutting down the ramp, cheering Triple H on. Hunter lifts Jericho up, just enough to get him on his knees. Triple H wants to go down as the winning while standing. He chokes at Jericho’s neck, when the seemingly unconscious Chris Jericho pulls at his leg and trips him. The Game loses control of Chris’ neck, and falls.
Chris Jericho turns around and stands to find Triple H rushing to his feet. Jericho irish whips his opponent to the ropes, and gives him a knee to the stomach. A motion of celebration is given by Jericho as Michaels looks on, shocked. Triple H rises to his feet, and is shortly driven back down by a bulldog. Chris Jericho points at Shawn before flipping backwards and delivering the Lionsault. Now Jericho gives the final motion, quickly cutting his fist across his neck. Shawn Michaels begins climbing the cage.
Grabbing each leg, Chris Jericho rolls Triple H over, locking in the Walls of Jericho. Ryan Beyer explodes down the ramp, tearing his fellow co-owner off of the cage. Triple H would usually struggle at this point, but is utterly dazed and confused, as he was sure that he would soon be walking down the ramp with his title. Beyer and Michaels begin shoving each other, arguing frantically. Unfortunately for Hunter, the tides have turned. Finally, his consciousness, or what is left of it cannot bear the pain, and Triple H taps out.
WINNER, AND NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: CHRIS JERICHO
Ryan Beyer and Shawn Michaels break from their fighting to see that it is true. The crowd has erupted as Chris Jericho falls in exhaustion. The cage begins to raise as Ryan Beyer deals a right hand to Michaels that would knock him down. Beyer slides into the ring and kicks Triple H out. Ryan extends a hand to the new World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho. The world seems to be celebrating as Ryan Beyer raises the hand of Chris Jericho, and the other hand holds the belt.
Suddenly, the lights fall, and the screen flashes to white in the arena. Everyone looks to it to see a dark figure falling from the ceiling, looking to be in the shape of a cross.
