SCENE 001
- Playground in Missouri
……….…………………………………………………………………………………………………
We open to a bright and sunny playground in Missouri. The sound of laughter fills the air, as we lower down to see four people walking down a path towards the swings. The two men in the group are the familiar sight of World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and “Soulfire” Justin Tyger. The two people with them are Orton’s wife, Samantha, and his daughter, Alanna Marie. The four walk until they get to a bench, where Orton and Sam sit down. Alanna slaps Tyger on the leg, looking up at him.
Alanna Orton
TAG! YOU’RE IT!
She runs off, as Tyger laughs, running after her. He catches up to her, tagging her on the shoulder. He stops her, whispering to her, motioning over to Randy. Alanna smiles, running at her Father, tagging him.
Alanna Orton
YOU’RE IT!
Randy “the viper” Orton
Oh no, I’m not!
Orton jumps off the bench, running after Alanna. Tyger walks to the bench, sitting down where Randy was. Tyger and Sam watch on as Randy gets to Alanna, scooping her up, holding her in the air. He puts her down, before she runs to the swings, sitting in one, as Randy walks behind her, pushing her higher and higher. Tyger chuckles as he watches the Father and Daughter play.
Samantha Orton
You’re really great with kids… Why don’t you have any?
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
Ahh. Ain’t ever found a girl that would put up with me.
Samantha Orton
It’s a shame you don’t. You’re so great with Alanna. She loves her Uncle Michael.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
I wouldn’t ever be a good father. Ain’t not exactly something you can quit on when it gets hard.
Samantha Orton
Oh, you’d be great. I have to be honest, there were times I didn’t think Randy would be ready, but he’s done great.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
Yeah, he’s an amazing dude.
Samantha Orton
I’m glad you and Randy are friends again. He needs a good friend like you around.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
Well, I probably need him more than he needs me.
Tyger chuckles, as he looks back at Randy, who is still pushing Alanna on the swing.
Alanna Orton
Mommy it’s your turn! Come push me!
Samantha Orton
Aww, alright, I’m coming.
Sam gets up, replacing Randy behind the swing. Randy walks toward Tyger and the bench, sitting down, reaching for a bag they brought with them.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
Have a seat, my good man.
Randy “the viper” Orton
Want some water?
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
Yeah, sure.
Orton hands Tyger a water bottle, getting one for himself. The two take drinks from them, as Tyger looks across the scenery.
Randy “the viper” Orton
How are you feeling after that match we had?
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
I’m doin’ good, we put on a show, that’s all that matters. Plus, did you see that woman in the front row? Jesus Jones.
Tyger whistles, shaking his head, as Orton lets out a laugh, before is fades away.
Randy “the viper” Orton
Too bad the ending was messed up with Roy and Magnum coming in.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
Yeah, too bad. They saved me from getting kicked in the head, from what I remember.
Randy “the viper” Orton
Nothing in the ring matters, remember?
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
….I know, I woulda done the same to you... Expect your balls and not your head.
Randy “the viper” Orton
Well, I guess I know where I’m aiming next time.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
That Viper needs to be calmed down a little, you know it’s true.
Randy “the viper” Orton
I just don’t get why those two would do that.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
They just want their attention. They’re two goons who want their ugly mugs on TV. Who else better to do it against than the two best guys in the promotion?
Randy “the viper” Orton
I just hope they know it won’t come unanswered.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
Ain’t that the truth, but hey, we had a good match, one of us is still the champ, so, ain’t that much to complain about, you know?
Randy “the viper” Orton
You’re just happy your head I still attached to your body.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
…That is also very true. I’m thankful. I just hope that ain’t my last chance getting’ wasted.
Randy “the viper” Orton
As long as I’m champion, you’ll get a lot more chances.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
I’ll probably need every one of ‘em too.
Tyger grins, as he looks down at his watch, and stands up.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
Well, I better get to goin’. I’ll see you later, man. Thanks for the great match.
Randy “the viper” Orton
No, thank you. I’ll see you Saturday.
Tyger looks over at the swings, waving at Alanna.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
I gotta get to leaving’. Bye Alanna!… See ya, Sam.
Alanna waves back at Tyger, yelling bye, as he walks back down the path. He finds his way to the parking lot, walking up to his El Camino. He continues to stare at his watching, doing math in his head.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
10:30... About four hours to Nashville… Should get there about two or three… I should be good there.
He climbs in his car, pulling a tin of Copenhagen from his pocket. He turns his car on, as “What Do You Want” by Jerrod Niemann fills the car. He packs his lip, before he drives calmly out of the parking lot, but speeding off when he hits the road.

SCENE 002
- Inside Tyger’s El Camino.
……….…………………………………………………………………………………………………
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
I get so tired of living like this. I don’t have the time, neither do my friends, to stay up at night, to pull me through, and to find the things to keep my mind off of you.
Tyger speeds down an empty road, singing along to the song playing on the CD. He continues to hum along, before taking a moment to think.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
What a crock it is. The end to me and Orton’s match. Those two punks don’t deserve to be in the ring with me and Orton, let alone to ruin the great match we had. I could very well be World Champion right now if it wasn’t for those two. They’ll get what they got coming to them, they’re gonna know it pretty soon.
This Saturday on All Stars, I got a pretty big match ahead of me, I gotta be honest. For the first time in five years, I go one on one with Seth Akira, my first opponent ever in SNME. Seth was a pretty great wrestler back then, give him his credit, and he’s developed into an amazing wrestler today.
But you know what your problem is gonna be, Seth? While you were developing into an amazing wrestler, I was developing into the best wrestler in SNME. History books show, you couldn’t beat me five years ago, when I was just a decent wrestler. Remember Seth? I believe I pinned you, what… Three times there? I’m the best now, Seth, there’s no doubt about it. Even as the amazing wrestler you are now, if you couldn’t beat me then, how could you ever plan on beating me now?
There’s no way, Seth. There’s no possible way. You may not realize it now, Seth, but you soon will, when I pin you to the mat, and I defeat you for the third time in a singles match. I’ve given you your props, man. You are a very great wrestler, you could soundly defeat any normal guy you want you, we both know that, but Seth? I ain’t no normal guy. I am the greatest, the best wrestler today, there is nobody that can compare to me in that ring.
Seth, I do have respect for you. You being one of the first guys I wrestled, I learned quite a bit from you that made me who I am today. I watched you and studied you in 2006, I learned a lot from you. The respect is there, no doubt. Akira, you know, you might have taught me too much, because the skills and lessons I learned from watching you, and Raven, and Shawn, combined with how good I already am… Have made me the best.
I am better than I have ever been. We all know that. There is no one that can beat me right now. No matter how much respect I do have for you Seth, no matter how great of a wrestler you are. You will never be better than me, Seth, and you will never be able to defeat me. This is our third time wrestling one on one, but no matter how many times we do this, I will always defeat you.
I’ll see you there, Seth. I’m sure we’ll have a very great match, like we always do, but Seth? You couldn’t handle the fire five years ago. I know, a lot has changed in five years, we have both gotten a lot better in the ring, but you will never be able to handle it now. I’m just too good, Seth. Not only am I better than I have ever been, I’m better than you’ll ever be.
Tyger continues to drive down the road, as the CD keeps playing, with “The One That Got Away” filling the speakers now.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
There we were just small town fools. Learning more from each other than we did in school, living on love, a couple bucks and an old Ford Truck.
Tyger beats the steering wheel along with the song, as he speeds down the road, and we fade out.

SCENE 003
- Wildhorse Saloon
……….…………………………………………………………………………………………………
We fade back open to Tyger sitting at a crowded bar, sipping on a beer. He sits waiting, before looks over, cracking a grin. He stands up, as him and Orton’s former valet Tiffany walks up. The two share a hug, before they sit down at the bar.
Tiffany Terrell
How are you, Justin?
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
I’m doin’ good, how about you?
Tiffany Terrell
I’m great.
Tiffany turns her attention to the bartender, as Tyger takes a deep breath, looking a bit nervous as the advice he got from Orton last week runs throughout his head. He takes a gulp from his beer, as Tiffany turns her attention back to Tyger. Tyger nervously opens his mouth to ask her something, but she cuts him off.
Tiffany Terrell
OH! I have someone you need to meet!
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
Oh.. Uh.. Who is that?
Tiffany Terrell
Well, I met him like… a week ago, and I really like him, and I think he really likes me too.
Tyger cracks a uneasy grin, as Tiffany looks around, jumping to her feet.
Tiffany Terrell
There he is! Wait here, Justin.
Tyger takes a long gulp from here beer, as Tiffany walks up with Tyler Malcolm, one of SNME’s newest wrestlers. He’s looking down at his cell phone, as Tiffany tugs on his arm.
Tiffany Terrell
Justin…This is Tyler… Tyler, this is Justin, he’s an old friend of mine.
Tyger stands up, extending his hand towards Tyler.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
…..How’re you doin’, man.
Tyler looks at Tyger and his extended hand, before going back down to his cell phone.
Tyler Malcolm
Yeah, what’s up. Let’s go do somethin’, Tiffany.
Tyler puts his phone away, as he starts to walk off, with Tiffany following him, waving at Tyger and smiling, before the two walk out of the shot. Tyger sits back down, before staring off into the distance, in almost a trance of disbelief, before he busts out laughing, shaking his head, taking a drink of his beer.
Well… That sucked, didn’t it?
Tyger looks over, noticing the dirty blonde sitting beside him. She has been sitting there, alone, overhearing the conversation.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
… Yeap.
The two let out a laugh, having one of the best icebreakers in history. The woman extends her hand towards Tyger.
I’m Amy Pirtle.
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
My name’s Michael. Michael Christopher.
Tyger shakes her hand, as the woman looks confused.
Amy Pirtle
I thought your name was Justin?
Justin “soulfire” Tyger
…It’s a long story.
Tyger lets out a chuckle, as Amy smiles, still a little confused. The two keep talking as we fade out to black.
