The camera looks into an empty ring, a dark, reticent arena only being invaded by a small blue light over the ring. A table slowly lowers into the center of the ring, and the screen fades to black.
A distorted guitar plays a tapping riff, coming to a stop. Three loud, distorted chords scream through the arena, playing the opening to AFI’s The Leaving Song, Part II. The NHBWO logo flashes onto the screen as the vocals come in, and clips from old matches begin playing over the music. The video fades into a view of the crowd, who are on their feet, screaming, as NHBWO makes it’s return.
Jim Ross: “Welcome to the return of the No-Holds-Barred Wrestling Organization! Jim Ross here, welcoming you to another edition of Friday Night Fusion!”
Jerry Lawler: “JR, it’s great to be back here! New owner, new show, but the same great atmosphere! You have to love our fans!”
Jim Ross: “Well, King, hold onto your seat, it’s going to be a wild night! Now we get to witness a great event, the passing of power.”
Ross is interrupted by a scream of “No Chance!” Vince McMahon walks out to the ring, the crowd silent. Their silence is a thanks for the great work he’s done, but at the same time, a mock for leaving them high and dry. He climbs the stairs and puts one leg over the middle rope, and waits, looking at the ground. He sighs after a few seconds, and gets into the ring. A microphone is sitting on the table. He picks is up, and gets ready to speak.
Vince McMahon: “This is a bitter-sweet night for me. I am being relieved of my tiring duties as owner of this fine company, but at the same time, I am losing everything I’ve built. But before I go on and give the company over, I just want to say thank you to our wonderful fans, and employees. Thank you for everything you’ve given us.”
The opening notes of Stolen Moments are played by a drummer and bassist, and a hollow body guitar plays the opening chords. The saxophonist, Coleman Drake comes in with the melody. Ryan Beyer walks out from behind the curtain. He has a beat in his walk, and he is wearing a tan suit, with a black shirt and a red and black tie. Red converse give him the unsophisticated look he loves. He shakes hands while still bopping to the jazzy beat of his introduction song. The vocals have made it to the chorus, and he slides into the ring. He looks at Vince, and extends his hand, before picking up a microphone. Vince shakes it, and Beyer walks to the table. Ryan picks up the other microphone, and turns to Vince.
Ryan Beyer: “Well, Vince. . . . I really don’t know what to say. I am truly at a loss for words. I have some big shoes to fill. You made this company great, and I have to strive to make it better. Most people would never have worked as hard as you did. However, it’s time. You’ve decided to pass on the crown.”
Vince and Ryan sit down at the table. Beyer takes the contract that is on the table, and signs it. He slides the clipboard to Vince. Vince stares blankly at the pages.
Ryan Beyer: “Well, Vince, all we need now is your signature.”
Vince is still staring, flipping pages at random. Beyer eyes him carefully, wondering what Vince might try to pull.
Vince McMahon: “Ryan, I’ll sign this on one condition. I will sign this if you can beat me in a match tonight. If you win, you’ll get the company.”
Ryan stares, confused. Vince is in no shape to wrestle, so Beyer wonders why McMahon would make such a request.
Ryan Beyer: “Deal. Vince, I guess it’s time for you to get what you deserve for screwing me out of my title when I faced HBK.”
Just then, Shawn Michaels runs from the crowd and hops over the barrier. He slides into the ring, and Ryan has no idea. From behind, HBK cracks Beyer in the head with the chair, as Vince smiles.
Vince McMahon: “Oh, and by the way. A friend might give me a hand.”
Vince and Michaels laugh as Beyer lays on the mat, fallen from his chair. The screen fades to a commercial.
Lights flash and spin throughout the crowd, and an eruption of green smoke pours from the stage. A loud, high-pitched bend from a guitar echoes throughout the stadium, and the heavy guitars of The Sinister Storm’s entrance music run though the crowd like wildfire. From the green fog comes a man, who is tall, and has a scar going down his right cheek. He is wearing a tight, black shirt with black jeans. He slowly makes his way to the ring to a silent crowd. He slides into the ring, and walks to the middle. He stands, looking down at the ground, and a ball of lightning strikes him. The lights come back on, and he is still standing, pumped and ready to go.
Jim Ross: “Oh My God! He was just hit by lightning and he’s still standing! I feel bad for Matt Hardy!”
A short typing is heard, and out of the speakers explodes “Oh Yeah!” Matt Hardy pops out from behind the curtain, and the crowd begins screaming. Hardy runs to the ring, where he and Storm being to trade blows. Storm gets the upper hand and backs Matt into the ropes. The Sinister Storm whips Matt to the other side of the ring, and Hardy comes back with a clothesline that knocks the giant down. Storm gets up quickly, and is able to catch the kick Matt threw at him. The Sinister Storm picks Hardy up by his leg, and slams him down on his back. Hardy lays downed while Storm runs to one side of the ring, and springs back to deliver an elbow drop. Hardy begins coughing, and Storm lifts him to his feet by his hair.
Jerry Lawler: ”Matt Hardy is in a very bad way here JR!”
Storm punches Hardy in the gut, and shoves him into the turnbuckle. The Sinister Storm lifts Hardy onto the turnbuckle. Hardy pokes Storm in the eyes, causing him to lose his focus. Hardy stands on the top turnbuckle and dropkicks the dazed Storm in the chest. As Storm and Hardy struggle to get up, the referee counts slowly to ten. Both men are able to et up around 6, and Hardy kicks Storm in the gut. Hardy puts his arm around Storm neck, in a DDT-like fashion. Matt spins himself around and delivers the Twist of Fate.
Jim Ross: ”Hardy hit the Twist of Fate! This one could be over soon!”
Hardy jumps onto storm, going for the pin. The referee only makes it to a count of two before Storm can kick out. Hardy seems confused as to how he didn’t get the win. As Storm struggles to regain a vertical stance, Matt argues with the referee about the count. The Sinister Storm waits behind Hardy, who turns around, and is met by the gigantic hand of The Sinister Storm. Storm wraps his hand around Matt Hardy’s neck, who struggles for air. The giant lifts Hardy high in the air.
Jerry Lawler: ”Wait a minute! What is this!”
Diesel storms from the crowd and slides into the ring with a chair. Big D smacks Storm in the back with the chair, causing him to drop Hardy. Storm falls as Matt thanks Diesel for saving him. Diesel and Matt stare at the fallen Storm, and Matt bends over to trash talk. As Hardy springs up and turns around, he is belted in the face with the chair. Diesel stands over both of his fallen victims, holding the chair high.
Winner: Both will be recorded as losses for not Rping.
After the match, Beyer is seen in his room, standing and holding his head while watching the show. Brock Lesnar give a light tap on the open door, and walks in. Brock looks at Beyer, with a bit of concern mixed with anger. Lesnar is ready to wrestle, and Beyer is very mellow.
Brock Lesnar: “Are you really sure you want to do this? I mean, you were a wrestler, but you haven’t wrestled in at least a month. Are you up to it?”
Ryan looks offended, and stares at Brock with complete anger.
Ryan Beyer: “Up to it? It’s an old guy who likes to screw me over. Now it’s his turn to get his ass beaten. I’m going to kick him in the gonads so hard that his testicles come out of his mouth. Plus, I have an advantage; I know something he doesn’t. His little buddy won’t be able to help him, because I’ve ordered people to get my ultimate weapon ready. The Lion’s Den.”
Brock smiles as the camera switches to the arena, where Shawn Michaels music begins to blast over the speaker system. Michaels struts out, followed by Vince McMahon. Shawn stops near the top of the stage, and falls to his knees. Pyrotechnics explode behind him, as Vince places his hands on Shawn’s shoulders. The two walk to the ring, and as Shawn slides in and Vince slowly climbs into the ring, the thunderous beginning of Brock Lesnar’s entrance theme begins. Brock approaches the edge of the ring, and in a single vertical jump, leaps onto the apron. Brock jumps over the ropes, and the bell rings. HBK accosts Brock, and each push each other back and forth. After being broken up, the two stand in the center of the ring, and Michaels slaps Brock. Brock responds with a punch, and Shawn comes back with a flurry of punches. HBK is able to back Lesnar into the ropes, where he continues his attack.
Jerry Lawler: ”This is going to be a hell of a battle! Two men who are both looking for ultimate supremacy.”
Brock then is whipped across the ring, and when he comes back, he is hit by Shawn’s heel in a beautiful dropkick. HBK begins to systematically wear Brock down by kicking at him as he gets up. Lesnar finally catches one of the toe kicks, and spins the Showstopper around. Brock lifts HBK over his shoulder, and rams him into the turnbuckle. Brock pulls Shawn out of the corner, only to slam his shoulder into Michaels’ gut, forcing the Main Event to fall into the turnbuckle again.
Jim Ross: ”HBK is being manhandled. I’ve never seen anyone beat on him like Brock is now.”
HBK soon finds himself over both of Lesnar’s shoulders. It is obvious that Shawn is tired and worn down, but he still is trying to fight Brock, who is trying to give him an F-5. Vince pulls on Michaels off of the Next Big Thing’s shoulders as they neared the ropes. Michaels tries to recuperate outside, but Lesnar slides out of the ring. HBK faces Brock, and is ready to throw a punch, but is beaten to the draw by Lesnar, who manages to kick him in the leg, slam his head into the apron, and throw him into the ring.
Jerry Lawler: ”This one could be bad, Michaels has taken quite a beating.”
Lesnar runs towards the ropes, and springs back, hurdling towards Shawn Michaels, who is on his knees. Brock smashes his knee into HBK’s face, and the Heart-break kid falls flat. HBK seems unconscious as Lesnar lifts him over his shoulders in the deadly F-5 position. Brock spins around the ring slowly, and finally, stopping in the middle, Lesnar slings HBK over his head. As Michaels falls flat on his face, Vince is seen with his jaw on the ground from shock.
Jim Ross: ”This one gotta be over! One, two, three! Lesnar did it! He beat HBK!”
Lesnar slides outside of the ring while Vince slowly helps Shawn up. Vince and HBK stay in the corner as the Lion’s den slowly lowers into the ring. A referee unlocks the cage, and Vince looks at HBK, who nods his head.
Mean Gene: “This match is scheduled as a last man standing match. The match will take place in the Lion’s Den.
Vince steps into the open Lion’s Den, and the door closes behind him. The large, six-sided caged ring stops him from going anywhere, as Beyer slides down a rope from the rafters, right onto the top of the Lion‘s Den. Beyer falls in behind Vince, and pushes him hard into the cage.
Jim Ross: “Vince has no idea what he’s gotten himself into.”
Outside of the cage, Brock Lesnar has managed to knock out HBK, and restrain him by tying his arms to the cage. In the cage, a fistfight has lead to Vince being backed into the cage, where Beyer alternates between punching him in the gut and the upper body. When Beyer lets up, Vince falls to his knees, and Beyer runs towards him, dropkicking him in the face. McMahon falls flat on his face as Beyer looks around. He begins to climb the structure, and waits for Vince to stand. Vince stumbles into the cage, jostling Beyer into falling into the ring.
Jerry Lawler: “Beyer fell hard, that could be very damaging!”
Vince begins to kick Beyer in the back, and Ryan in able to roll over and avoid one of the blows. Beyer climbs to his feet, as Vince tries to kick him the gut. Ryan catches it, and hold Vince’s leg up to the cage. Beyer kicks McMahon’s other leg out, causing Vince to do the splits. Vince rolls to one side as he holds his leg in pain.
Jim Ross: “This is both humiliating and painful for Vince.”
Beyer decides to lift Vince up before the referee outside counts to ten, simply to get real revenge on McMahon. Ryan irish whips Vince into the cage, causing his face to bleed. Beyer picks Vince up by the hair, and screams at him. Ryan throws Vince over one shoulder, and falls backwards into one of the cage walls, grating Vince’s face like cheese. A crimson mask now covers McMahon’s face.
Jerry Lawler: “This was a bad idea Vince. A really bad idea. I really hope no one crosses our new boss. “
Ryan screams to the referee to throw him the clipboard, and he does. Beyer lifts Vince to his knees, and hands him the clipboard. Vince slowly draws the energy to scribble on the paper, and the bell rings. Shawn Michaels has manage to free himself, and the referee is separating the two opponents. Beyer brings Vince up to his feet, and gives him the Stolen Moments, knocking Vince out. Beyer ducks under the Lion’s Den, which is slowly being raised back up. Ryan is handed a microphone, and he begins to speak of his victory.
Ryan Beyer: “I can use more than moments, Vince, and I know where you steal them from. Your time is up old man, get out of my ring!”
HBK picks up Vince, and carries McMahon out of the ring. Vince slowly is helped walk up the ramp, as the crowd sings.
Audience: “Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, HEY, HEY, HEY, GOODBYE!”
As Vince gets to the top of the stage, a spark ignites and a firecracker explodes right between his legs, hitting him in the gonads. He falls to the ground as the camera zooms in on his face. His mouth opens, and two sacs fall out, very small in size. The camera fades to an empty blackness, and an advertisment for the local news flashes across the screen. You pick up the remote and turn off the TV, and head for bed, because it’s late, mister.
