Event: The Recap
"Welcome everyone to the Recap, my name is Todd Grisham. We had quite a night on Saturday, starting off with Matt Hardy and the Rock taking on Carlito and Edge. Carlito and Edge pounded their opponents, Edge spearing Hardy for the win.
Triple H then challenged Randy Orton to a scaffolding match at the Last Stop, and Randy accepted. Had the two not been pulled away, a fight would’ve definitely broken out.
John Cena fought hard against Mason Paine, but it still looked like Paine would win, until Rob Van Dam appeared, throwing a chair at Mason and knocking him out with a Van Terminator. John Cena would get the win, Van Dam nearly sprinting away from the ring.
Ken Kennedy and Justin Tyger barely escaped with a victory over the Roy and Seth, but a quick school boy pin at the end would give them a win!
Batista played Achilles when he insulted Chris Jericho in front of the whole locker room, but vengeance was served when Jericho put Batista through the announcers’ table during the four way. However, Randy Orton would later take advantage of a distracted Jericho by giving him the RKO and pinning him.
It should seem that Ryan Beyer would strike again, this time scorching Michaels’ office. There was no spreading of the fire, and Shawn and a few others worked to put it out, but to no avail. Completely untouched by the fire, a notecard reading “What’s This You Say? You feel the right to remain, then stay, and I will bury you!” was found. Michaels went to the roof, seeing someone jump off, but the cameramen didn’t see him.
And in the main event, Rob Van Dam came out looking worried, becoming even more worried when he learned that Sting didn’t show up, and would have the match counted as a loss, but that RVD would have to face Mason Paine in a match. Both John Cena and Mike Mizanin rushed to the ring to fight off Mason Paine after he beat Van Dam, the show coming to a close with Paul Heyman seeming dominant.
Well, that‘s all the time we have for tonight, this has been Todd Grisham, see you later.”
