Saturday Night's Main Event: Summer Meltdown!Live! From The Coliseo de Puerto in San Juan, Puerto Rico!8/26/07A deserted and calm beach is shown before us. The waves crash upon the shore, washing away any stray footprints from passersby. Palm trees sway in the cool breeze as a loud horn echos in the distance. The shallow water is shown as a massive ship comes right onto the shore. Digging through the sand for what seems like ages, the cruise shit finally comes to a hault. The sound of cheering can be heard as a ramp is lowered. The wrestlers of Satruday Night's Main Event are seen rushing down the ramp and onto the beach. From the main window, Shawn Michaels can be seen, dressed in a Hawaiian shirt and khaki shorts. He pulls his shades from his eyes as he sips on a coconut drink. The beautiful Coliseo de Puerto is shown from the outside. Lines and lines of people file out from all different entrances to the building. The Saturday Night's Main Event equipment and production trucks can be seen out back. The view suddenly switches to the inside, where thousands upon thousands of fans can be seen. The thousands of fans are screaming their heads off, awaiting Meltdown to begin. One of SNME's biggest moments is only seconds from beginning and the crowd is eating it up. The view switches over to the stage which is set up to look like a beach. Palm trees all around, sand covering the floor. A boat on either side of the wooden boardwalk leading to the ring. The view then quickly changes over to the ring where Howard Finkel is standing by.Howard Finkel: Welcome to the biggest party of the summer . . . Saturday Night's Main Event presents . . . Owens: It's the biggest party of the summer, Joey! Let's get this party started!
Styles: For you folks watcing at home, I wish you could be here. The atmostphere is almost like nothing before. I can't believe the feeling in this building. It's just extremely tense, unlike the last few pay-per-views we've held.
Owens: Well Joey, you gotta remember. There are some big time matches tonight. We got Sting versus Kurt Angle. Shawn Michaels versus Chris Jericho . . . And hell, just between those two right there, that's enough tension to break anyone.

"The New Age Outlaws" Road Dogg and Billy Gunn vs. John Cena & Carlito "World Tag Team Championship!" (After taking out every other tag team in their way, John Cena and Carlito were on the look for new competition. While looking, they definitely found it. John points at there opponents who look back up at them. Carlito looks as Cena, he nods to him as they sprint down the ramp and slide into the ring. They start with Road Dogg and John.“Ding, Ding, Ding!”John Cena circles his prey, he Road Dogg prepares himself. John leaps onto Road Dogg and ties up with him like a hungry lion! The ref pushes John off Dogg, he makes John take several steps from Road Dogg to give him a breather, while the ref is busy with John, Road Dogg lands a cheap shot on Carlito to the chest. John Cena notices his partner in pain; he pushes the ref off to the side and charges Road Dogg with a clothesline! Road Dogg staggers to the middle of the ring. John comes up to him and plants him with a sidewalk slam in the center of the ring! He goes for the quick cover!“1…2…”Road Dogg kicks out! John doesn’t get frustrated, he simply drags Road Dogg over to his partner who is dieing for revenge. John switches with Carlito; they set Road Dogg up and execute a perfect double suplex. The referee forces John to leave the ring. Carlito goes for another cover!“1…2…”Billy Gunn jumps in the ring and breaks the pin up! Carlito looks up at Billy Gunn angrily as he scrambles back to his corner. Carlito walks over to Gunn, who raises his hands like he is innocent, the ref points at Gunn and tells him if he pulls something like that again he will automatically disqualify his team, Carlito places his hands on his hips and nods as Gunn recovers. John yells to Carlito to warn him, but Carlito doesn’t hear him! Road Dogg grabs his head from behind and crashes to the mat with an inverted DDT! He slaps his partner’s hand! They stomp on Carlito as Carlito attempts to get away. They lifts Carlito up and whip him along the ropes, they both bend down ready to execute a double back body drop! Carlito uses there backs as leverage and flips over them with his athletic talent! As they bend back up Carlito quickly jumps on Road Doggs shoulders and plants him with a Back Cracker! He goes for John Cena, but Gunn holds him back by hit leg! Carlito pulls and pulls, he then turns around and kicks kick Gunn with his other leg, they both drop to the ground! Carlito rolls to John for the tag! Gunn stumbles around the ring as Road Dogg begins pulling himself up with the help of the ropes! John runs at Gunn, kick to the gut, F-U! Kammy turns around to see a fallen Hott Stuff. She smiles and raises her arm, signaling the end is near. She lifts her up to her feet, and puts Hott Stuff’s head under Kammy’s arm. Amy Weber stands back up and gives an evil stare, knowing Kammy has gotten the best of her. |
We quickly cut backstage where CM Punk is seen watching a monitor. He smiles at the fact that Kammy has retained her Women's Champonship, yet again. Maria then walks up, a smile on her face and microphone in hand.
Maria: Excuse me, but can I get a few words with you?
CM Punk: Uh . . . Yeah, sure. Why not?
Maria smiles as she lets out a playful giggle.
Maria: CM Punk, tonight we will see you defending your Intercontinental Championship against not only one man, but two! What are your feelings towards that?
CM Punk: Ya' know, Maria . . . Most people would be afraid to take on two men in a cage. Hell, they'd probably not show up for the match even . . . But me . . . I love competition, Maria. I don't have to do drungs, drink alcohol, smoke tobacco. Competition is my only addiction. And tonight, it is going to be just that. Three men are going to enter a cage, and one man will walk out. That man . . . Is me! I didn't win this belt to just simply lose. No, this title is mine and only mine. So Leone . . . Sam . . . I hope you two enjoy tonight, because it is the closest you'll ever be to this belt!
Maria: Alright. Thanks CM Punk. I'm really glad I could ask you that.
CM Punk: Yeah, no problem . . .

Maria: Well folks, you heard it!
Maria stares aimlessly into the camera, a smile on her face. |

We switch from the ring to the interview set where Randy Orton stands with Todd Grisham.
Todd: Randy, coming up next is your match with Triple H. What is your plan going into this match?
Orton: Todd, my plan is very simple. I am going to walk down to that ring, I am going to wrestle Triple H, and I am going to defeat him. Triple H may think he has the upper hand, but he cannot be more wrong. You see Todd, I follow my destiny. And tonight, my destiny is going to lead me to a victory over the Game. I’ve played the game before, and I defeated it. Nothing is going to prevent history from repeating itself. The only three letters that Triple H will know after tonight is R…….K……O.
Orton looks into the camera as we cut away from the Legend Killer. |
The cameras take us down a hallway. They look on at a door with a sign that reads, "'The Game' Triple H". The door slowly opens as the camera enters. Expecting the light to shine into the lense of the camera, the camera man shadows the lense. But there is no light . . . None at all. A presence can be felt in the room. Its occupant obviously someone who is not to be played, "The Game" . . . "The Cerebral Assassin" . . . "The King of Kings" . . . Hunter Hearst Helmsley. The silhouette of a man is cast on the wall. He stands tall before his locker . . . The tape being wrapped around his hand . . . The tension fills the air as he flips his hair back. He reaches into his locker, from which he pulls out a bottle of water. He takes a swig, sloshing the cold water from side to side in his mout and then swallowing it. He then pulls his t-shirt over his head and tosses is into the locker too. He turns around . . . His eyes staring straight into the camera.
"Game on!"
He pushes past the camera, the look of determination pouring from his body. The camera turns, watching him make his way down the hall. There he goes . . . To battle! |
"Legend Killer" Randy Orton vs. "The Game" Triple H "Revenge!" (Last September, it was Randy Orton who stood over a victorious Triple H. These two have held a grudge for one another since the day Triple H and Shawn Michaels booted Orton from Degeneration X. And now, Triple H has set it in his mind that Orton will finally pay for what he did to him last September in their hellacious Scaffold Match. Will Triple H get his revenge?)"Time To Play The Game!!!"A heavily distorted power chord shakes the arena, as Drowning Pool’s “The Game” screams through the arena. The lights have dimmed and green spotlights shine in the arena. "The Cerebral Assassin" slowly steps onto the stage, his head lowered. He pours water over his head, letting it drip off. "The Game" suddenly slings his hair back, looking down at the ring. He takes a sip of water as he begins to make his way down the ramp. Triple H makes his way to the ring and slowly walks up the steps.
He climbs onto the apron, taking one last sip of his water before tossing the bottle into the crowd. A few of the fans argue over the bottle as Triple H leans back, his arms raised. He spits a mist of water into the air as a spotlight shines on him. He spits the remaining water from his mouth and enters the ring. Triple H walks to the corner and climbs to the middle rope. He raises his arms, leaning back. He then leans forwards, pointing to the crowd and them himself, letting them know that he is prepared to win this one. The lights slowly return to normal and the fans begin buzzing.
The opening riff of Mercy Drive’s “Burn In My Light” shimmers over the arena, and the fans begin booing as “The Legend Killer” Randy Orton steps through the curtain, cocky as ever. He raises his arms out into the air, and slowly spins around, drawing in every boo in the arena. Orton struts down the ramp, and climbs into the ring, always eyeing Triple H. Randy climbs to the top rope, and spreads his arms out into the air again as golden sparks rain from the ceiling. Randy hops down, and faces Triple H, ready for the war.
The bell rings, and both of the two competitors begin circling each other. Orton looks eager to get his hands on Trips, but “The Game” looks calm and cool. Both men move in, and tie up. Triple H has the strength advantage, and after a few seconds of a draw. HHH pushes Orton into the corner. By the ref’s discretion, Triple H backs off of Orton, and gives him space to move out of the corner. Randy slips out as Trips motions for him to come. They tie up, and Triple H manages to get Randy in a side headlock. Orton struggles for a bit, then manages to slip out, and pushes Triple H off. HHH bounces off the ropes, and hits Orton with a stiff shoulder block, knocking him to the mat. Trips runs against the ropes and goes for an elbow drop, but Randy rolls out of the way, causing HHH to fall onto the mat. Orton quickly springs up and stomps on Triple H. Randy stops stomping, and runs the ropes parallel to the Game. Orton slides, and baseball slides HHH out of the ring. Hunter crashes onto the floor hard, landing on his back with force. Randy takes his time getting out, and when he does, picks The Game up by his hair, and pushes him into the barricade. Orton takes the time to elbow Hunter in the jaw, and then punches him in the ribs. Triple H falls forward, and Randy catches him before he hits the floor. Orton lines Triple H up, and with one move, slings him into the steps! The metal stairs and knocked off one another, and Triple H howls in pain as flesh meets cold steel. Randy, looking calculating as ever, walks over to the fallen Triple H, and lifts him to his feet. Randy rolls him into the ring, and poses for the crowd.
Randy rolls into the ring, just as the ref counts to 9. Randy lays some more boots on Triple H, before kneeling down, and lifting Trips up. Orton drives his knee into HHH’s back, and then pulls his arms backward, putting a lot of pressure on his back. Triple H manages to fight it off, with the fans behind him. HHH gets to his feet, and overpowers Orton. The Game elbows Randy in the gut, once, twice, and a third time, knocking him off. Orton stumbles around as Triple H grabs his arm and whips him across the ring. Orton comes running back, and Triple H flips him over his head with a back body drop! Orton grabs his back as Triple H starts to gain momentum. Orton charges Trips, but Hunter clotheslines him! Randy is back up, another clothesline! Triple H charges and knee lifts Randy right in the face! Orton falls to the mat Triple H covers! “1….2…” Orton kicks out! Triple H shrugs this off, and lifts Randy to his feet. Orton spins, dropkick to Triple H! The Game bounces off the ropes, and back to Orton, who kicks him in the gut. HHH bends over, allowing Orton to run against the ropes, and bulldog him to the mat. Randy Orton connects with the bulldog as Triple H comes crashing down to the mat face first. Randy seizes the opportunity and pins Triple H! "1...2..." Triple H rolls the shoulder at the last second. Randy Orton walks over to one of the turnbuckles as The Game gets on all fours. Randy Orton gets on the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle. Triple H gets up on his feet, weary, facing away from Orton. As Randy taunts The Game he begins turning his way. The second Triple H turns to Randy, he leaps into the air for a crossbody. With The Game’s quick reactions time he rolls out of the way as Randy crashes to the mat, Triple H recovers from the bulldog as Randy lies on the ground. Triple H pulls himself up using the same turnbuckle Randy jumped off of; Randy grasps one of the ropes in front of him with his left hand as he tries to pull himself up. HHH stumbles over to Randy breathing heavily. The Game raises his arms taunting Randy with his signature taunt. Randy finally gets up with the help of the ropes and turn around only to meet a boot to the stomach! Triple H places Orton in between his legs and hooks one arm, as he prepares for the pedigree Orton spins out of it and jumps up for an RKO. In mid air Triple H holds Orton up by his back and attempts to throw him over, Orton jumps off of Triple H hands and lands on the apron. Triple H punches Orton, then Orton punches HHH, they battle back and forth! Randy hooks Triple H’s arm around his neck and lifts him for a suplex off the apron! Triple H breaks free from the suplex and lands right next to him on the apron. They exchange punches, until finally Randy takes Triple H by the neck and throws him over the rope! Randy follows begins Triple H as he grabs his back in pain. Randy breaths heavily as he lifts Triple H to his feet. Randy whips Triple H to the turnbuckle, but The Game over powers The Legend Killer and whips him into the turnbuckle! Triple H runs after Orton for a clothesline but is met with a boot right in the face! Triple H is busted open! Randy places The Game onto the top turnbuckle as he climbs up with him! They both stand on the top turnbuckle as Orton hooks HHH’s arm around his neck! Oh no! Randy flips The Game over his head as they come crashing to the mat! Superplex! The bloodied Triple H lays on the floor unconscious as Randy recovers. Orton crawls to Triple H and covers him with one hand!“1…2…” The Game rolls his shoulder! There is still some life in this man! Randy Orton angrily lifts Triple H up and places him onto a turnbuckle, Triple H nearly falls off, he is nearly unconscious from the superplex. Randy Orton faces away from The Game and hooks his head onto his shoulder. “This is payback for my father you son of a bitch!” Orton screams as he prepares for the super RKO! Randy Orton is about to jump as a jolt of life bursts into The Game! Triple H rolls off the top turnbuckle and lands on the apron; Randy Orton turns around and is met with a punch to the face! Triple H hooks Randy’s arm over his neck and lifts him over to the apron, right after The Game places Orton’s head under his arm pit and DDT’s him off the apron as they come crashing down to the mats! They both roll to opposite turnbuckles. Triple H wipes the blood and sweat off of his face, as Randy Orton gets up with the help of the apron, his face just one punch away from bleeding! The ref is already at the count of 4! The Legend Killer charges The Game, Triple H bends down and lifts Orton up in the air and drops him face first onto the steel steps behind him! Randy Orton leaves a bloody stain on the steel steps; he stumbles around for several seconds until finally his feet give out.
As the ref yells 9, Triple H rolls into the ring breaking his count. Triple H doesn’t go after Orton as he has some recovering to do himself, Randy uses the power left in his arms to keep balance along the barrier. He moves and stumbles to the apron holding on to the bottom rope, the ref calls 3 as Orton uses all of the strength left in his body to roll himself onto the apron. The referee stops the count at 4. Triple H lifts himself up on the other side of the ring as Orton rolls under the bottom rope and lifts himself up with the turnbuckle next to the steps he was thrown on. Triple H gets up and stumbles around the ring, he notices Orton. Orton turns around as they trade punches, Orton, Triple H, Orton, Triple H! Orton knows both have no more left in the tank as he pulls one last trick out of his hat, in the middle of there fist fight Orton leaps into the air attempting and RKO, Triple H holds Orton up for one second as his feet land on the top turnbuckle. Orton uses the leverage from the top turnbuckle and flips over The Game and lands behind him. Orton spins Triple H around and attempts another RKO, in mid air HHH pushes The Legend Killer off, Orton kicks his feet and regains balance on the floor, he turns around and is met with a flying knee to the face! As a bloody Orton begins falling to the ground Triple H catches his head and places it in between his legs. With all the power left in him The Game hooks Orton’s arms and leaps into the air! Triple H connects with a pedigree! The Game crawls and covers Orton with one arm.“1…2…3!”
Howard Finkel: Your winner . . . "The Game" Triple H!The Game lifts his bloodied body off of an unconscious Randy Orton as he falls back against the ropes behind him; “The Game” by Drowning Pool blasts the arena. Triple H breaths heavily as he wipes the sweat off his face. Triple H’s wrist tape has now turned red after both Orton and The Game painted it with there blood. Triple H lifts himself up with the help of the ropes and staggers to the center of the ring. Triple H lifts his arms in his signature taunt as he receives a mostly positive reaction from the crowd. The Game rolls out of the ring and walks up the ramp facing the ring staring at a bloodied Randy Orton, who just gave him the challenge of his life. As Triple H makes it halfway up the ramp the camera fades to black. |
We cut backstage as a long white limousine suddenly pulls up. It comes to a hault, stopping underneath the back awning, so that it can drop off whoever is inside. The driver's door slowly opens as he steps out. He quickly makes his way to the passenger door and opens it. He sticks his head in, quickly telling whoever is inside that they have arrived at the arena. The driver steps back, and then walks around to the trunk. He pops it open, quickly reaching in for the bags. As he does someone steps out of the limo. It is none other than Kurt Angle, his family following right behind him. Kurt is in a very nice suit, the World Heavyweight Championship draped over his shoulder. His little girl tugs on his arm, and he adoringly picks her up. He carries his daughter in one arm, his championship on the other. His wife follows beside them as they quickly enter the arena. |

Are you Ugly? [X3] |
We cut to the interview set where Todd Grisham sands with Sam X. X looks tense, and bitter.
Todd: I am here with Sam X, who is moments away from entering that steel cage. Sam, what are your thoughts going into this match.
Sam looks into the camera with a look of pain, and anger combined into one. He sighs, and rips the mic away from Todd.
Sam: My thoughts? You want to hear my thoughts Todd? I’m thrown into this steel cage with the man I demolished months ago, and the man who is the Intercontinental Champion. We are the best wrestlers in this company, bar none. But I have one thing on my side Todd. I have all of this pent up aggression. I have rage inside of my that has been built up for so long, and tonight, tonight is the night I finally get to unleash it upon my opponents. There is no escaping me in this cage Leone. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. I am going to end your career tonight. The beast is unleashed tonight at Summer Meltdown, and I want to know who can contain it. Todd, Leone, Punk, everyone around the world……Welcome to the NEW PHENOMENON!
Sam slams the mic into Todd’s chest, and walks off the set. |
CM Punk vs. Joey Leone vs. Sam X "Triple Threat Cage Match: Intercontinental Championship!" (After finding himself empty handed for a beating he delivered to Mick Foley after his Highway To Hell Match, Sam was already hungry for more gold. With this, he pursued in challenging CM Punk for the Intercontinental Championship. But, just as the deal was about to be settled, a face that hadn't been seen in months appeard before us . . . Joey Leone! With revenge on his mind from what Sam X did to him at Rumble In The Jungle, Joey Leone was hell bent on getting into this match. Who will walk out the Intercontinental Champion?)We cut to the ring, where the sinister steel cage is being lowered from the ceiling. Ominous music plays as the 15 foot high cage is put in place. The crowd cheers as Fink begins to explain the match.Fink: The following match up is a triple threat STEEL CAGE MATCH! Now, the only way to win is by climbing over the cage, and hitting the floor with both feet. Inside the cage, you can make a pinfall or submission. The first man to do either of those will be declared the winner, and NEW Intercontinental Champion! “Miseria Cantare” plays over the arena as the current IC champ CM Punk walks through the curtain. The Straight Edge Superstar wears the gold around his waist, and is wearing red and black tights. Punk steps into the cage, and raises the IC title high above his head.
“Suffocate” rumbles over the arena as Sam X bursts through the curtain. Sam dons gray biker tights with a black and white skull on them. X trots down to the cage where he tests the steel before entering through the door. He points at Punk’s title, then makes the belt gesture as his music stops playing.
“Just Close Your Eyes” blares over the arena as the fans erupt in cheers. Joey Leone opens the curtain and steps through. Leone raises his arms up in the air as pyros go off behind him. Leone walks down to the ring, not taking his eyes off Sam for a second. Leone steps into the cage, and the ref locks the door behind him. The match begins!
Joey immediately charges at Sam, and tackles him to the mat, and begins drilling him with lefts and rights. Sam tries fighting him off, but Leone’s wrath is too much for even the beast himself. Punk sees his chance, and begins to climb the cage walls, thinking Joey is too distracted. Leone is cunning, and gets off of Sam to grab Punk. Joey throws Punk off of the cage, sending him crashing onto Sam! X grasps his gut and gasps for air. Leone is not deterred, and continues his beat down of Sam. Joey picks him up, and slams his head into the cage wall! Sam stumbles backwards, and Leone dropkicks Sam into Punk, who is slammed into the cage wall. Joey charges X, but Sam turns around and nearly decapitates him with a vicious clothesline! Leone crashes to the mat as Sam now turns his attention to the rag doll of a champion, CM Punk. Sam charges Punk, and kicks him straight in the head, smashing it against the cage wall. CM crumples over, but Sam lifts him to his feet. X lifts him onto his shoulder, and uses him as a battering ram on the cage wall. Punk grabs his face as Sam relents for only a second. Leone is stirring, but Sam runs over, and dropkicks him into the cage wall. Sam charges at Punk, and violently smashes his face into the cage again. CM tumbles over the top rope, and we can see that he has a laceration on the top of his forehead. Blood seeps out of the wound, and stains the canvas. Sam goes back over to Joey Leone, but gets caught by a possum kick to his chin. X stumbles backwards, and Leone hits a nice flipping neck-breaker on the Herald of Evil. Joey uses his agility to hit a beautiful standing moonsaults on Sam, and crashes onto his stomach. Sam coughs at the pressure, and rolls away. Joey goes over to CM and lifts him up, but Punk surprises him with a straight right to the face, sending Leone back. Punk hits a left, then another right. Leone is backed up into the corner. Punk charges, and hits a step up knee to the face. Joey stumbles forward, and Punk bounces off the ropes, and twists, hitting a nice clothesline. Leone falls to his back. CM goes over to Sam, and lays some boots on him. Punk grabs Sam by the hair, and drags him to his feet. Punk delivers a forearm to the face. Sam staggers backwards, and Punk takes his chance. CM kicks Sam in the gut, and lifts him on top of his shoulders. X tries to fight it, but the will of the champion is too much. Punk rams Sam’s head into the cage wall, and turns around. He looks to be going for a GTS, but Leone comes from behind, and chopblocks Punk! CM falls down, and releases Sam, who rolls out of the way. Joey picks Punk up from behind, and goes for a lungblower, but Punk counters it, and slams Joey into the cage! Leone screams in pain as his back hits the harsh steel chain. CM looks now to be going for a belly to belly Suplex, but Sam runs up from behind, and grabs Punk around the waist. Sam pulls, and Punk throws Leone over his head! BY GOD! A MEGA SUPLEX! Leone looks dead, but Sam is still clinging onto Punk. A second German Suplex! A Third! A Fourth! A fifth! Sam is still going! Wait a second, Sam is lining himself up with the cage……BY GOD! A GERMAN SUPLEX TO PUNK INTO THE CAGE WALL! HOLY SHIT!
Sam falls to the mat, and begins to catch his breath as Punk lays almost dead from the sickening impact. Leone is almost up to his feet, as is Sam. Both men turn around, and eye each other. A look of malice appears in both mans visage. Suddenly, X charges, but Leone leaps over him. X catches himself before hitting the cage, and turns around. Leone comes at him with a kick, but X ducks. Joey turns around, and gets whipped across the ring. Leone stops himself, but Sam charges him. Joey lays down, and Sam hops over him. Joey nips up, and Sam swings for a clothesline, but Leone ducks under it. Joey jumps up, and attempts a hurricanrana, but Sam uses his power to hold Joey in place, and goes for a powerbomb. But Leone swings the momentum, and flips over Sam, and goes for a Sunset Flip. They roll up, but Sam kicks out, then goes to dropkick the sitting Leone. Joey ducks, and Sam falls on the mat. Joey goes for an Asai Moonsault, but X rolls out of the way, causing Joey to slam himself onto the mat. X is now in the corner, and starts stalking Joey for a spear. Sam beckons for Leone to raise, and as Joey does. Sam runs at him. X goes for the kill, but Joey starts climbing the cage, using his great agility. Sam regains his composure, and starts to climb up after Joey. X is soon grabbing Joeys leg, and yanks him off. In midair, Joey twists, and manages to throw Sam with a Hurricanrana! X flies across the ring, and all 3 men are down.
Punk is starting to stir, but he is still favoring the back of his neck, which was nearly decimated by that German Suplex. Joey is up to his feet, and Sam is struggling to get up. Leone sees his chance, and begins to climb the cage. Joey is nearly ¾ of the way up when Sam X starts climbing after him. Joey doesn’t notice X until too late. Sam grabs Joeys ribs, and jumps off backwards….with a back Suplex from the cage! Joey crashes hard on his upper back, and Sam rolls backwards, ready for anything. CM Punk is now up, and the champion and challenger eye each other viciously. Sam charges Punk, but the cunning champion ducks, causing Sam to slam headfirst into the unforgiving walls of the steel cage. Punk grabs Sam’s head, and slams it into the cage again, and begins washboarding it into the grate, as payback for earlier. Punk finally relents, and Sam turns around, and is now dripping blood from a cut on his forehead. X falls forward into Punk’s waiting arms. CM wraps Sam’s arm over his head, and hits a nice Suplex on the former Custom Champion. Before Punk can do anything else, Joey Leone jumps from the top rope with a flying splash! Joey crashes onto Sam’s prone body, driving immense pressure onto his stomach. Joey flips over, and turns around, only to eat a stiff shining wizard from the champion, CM Punk. Leone falls down slowly, and lays prone on the floor. Punk goes over to Sam, who is stirring, and kicks him in the gut, causing X to flinch. Punk then grabs Sam by his head, and lifts him to his feet. CM punches Sam in the gut, which causes X to bend over. CM grabs Sam for a DDT, but X twists out of it, and spins the Intercontinental Champion around. Punk staggers, which lets Sam move him to the center of the ring, and hits a devastating STO! Punk crashes on his head, and now Sam turns his attention to Joey Leone. Sam runs over and body slams Joey into the cage, mangling him between the ropes and cage. X’s true malice begins to shine, as he begins to stomp a defenseless Leone, who is tangled in between the cage and ropes. Sam now grabs the back of Leone’s head, and slams it onto the cage wall. Joey is sitting upright as Sam bounces off the ropes opposite Joey, and when he comes back, KICKS JOEYS HEAD INTO THE CAGE! HOLY SHIT! Leone is now busted wide open, causing Sam to smirk underneath his Crimson Mask. Sam turns back around, only to find a hellacious Joey Leone pouncing on him, every inch of malice in his body pouring forth as he pounds Sam with lefts and rights, opening up that deep cut in his forehead even more. Blood begins spurting out of the wound as Joey continues pummeling Sam with a fury unmatched. Punk begins climbing the cage, desperate to retain his championship. Joey takes one last shot at Sam, and turns his attention to Punk. Leone starts climbing after Punk, and finally gets next to him. Joey punches him in the face, and CM looks at the point of falling. Joey then makes his move. He transfers over Punk, and……LUNGBLOWER FROM THE SIDE OF THE F**KING CAGE! HOLY SHIT! Punk immediately bursts up from the impact, and Sam charges, and devastates him with a massive Spear! Punk looks almost dead, and is surely unconscious.
Joey stands up, which brings him pain to do so. Sam is now on his feet, staring at the bloody corpse of CM Punk. Joey and Sam give each other one last look, and Joey charges. Leone leaps, and hits a crossbody, but Sam immediately throws him off, and nips up. Leone comes at X with a spin kick, but Sam ducks under it, and grabs Joey for a German Suplex. X throws Joey over his head, but Leone flips, and lands on his feet. Sam turns around, and Joey goes for a clothesline, but X grabs his arm, and twists around. Joey follows through with the twist, and tries a drop toe hold, but Sam manages to catch himself, and uses his leg strength to throw Joey off. Both men spin up, and go for clotheslines, but they both duck. Sam runs against the ropes, and goes to spear Joey, but Leone moves. Sam manages to upright himself, and jumps onto the cage. He catches on like Spiderman, and without a moments waste, jumps off, and completes a crossbody. Joey rolls through with the crossbody, avoiding a lot of the pain. Sam quickly gets up to his feet, only to see Joey Leone coming at him with a super kick. X grabs his foot and swings it around, Leone is groggy, and gets kicked in the gut. Sam lifts Joey up to his midsection, and holds him horizontally. Sam torques to the right, and with one powerful motion, and then quickly spins to the left, and by doing so pushes Joey off. Leone Spins with Sam, and X slams him powerfully on the mat. Joey hits the canvas with a sickening thud, much to the grim satisfaction of Sam. X looks at the fallen Punk, then at the cage. And with his determination, begins climbing. X scales the wall with a tired look on his face. Sam moves up, arm after arm, hand after hand, grasping the chain so tight that his knuckles turn white. X is near the top when Joey Leone starts to stir. Joey climbs to his feet, and sees Sam nearly scaling the cage. Leone grabs onto the cage and begins climbing after Sam. Joey grabs Sam’s leg, and starts to tug at it, trying to rip him off any way possible. Sam does not give, and tries kicking Joey off, but Leone keeps his hold, and starts climbing up next to Sam. Sam sees this, and now begins to speed up. X slings his right leg over the cage, but Joey is right on him. Sam punches Joey in the face, doing all he can to knock Joey back into the ring. Sam sits up, and balances himself on the top. Leone now straddles himself as well, and both men are trading fists on the top. Sam teeters over to the side, but Joey sets him straight, and punches him in the gut. X leans over, and Joey starts to set something up. Leone pushes himself up, and ENZIGURI TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! SWEET GOD! Sam tumbles back into the ring, as Leone loses his balance, and falls after Sam. Both men hit the mat with a sickening thud, and there are no signs of life. After about 20 seconds of lifelessness, Joey begins to stir. His arm shoots up, and grabs the ropes, and begins to pull himself up. The blood from Sam’s wound is staining the canvas heavily, but his arm moves, and tries to start pushing himself up. Joey is on his feet, albeit staggering and groggy. Sam uses all of his strength, and pushes himself up. X is on his feet, as is Joey. Punk is now on his feet, but his eyes are glazed over. Punk charges both men, and hits a double clothesline on the pair. Punk quickly stands up, and picks X up. CM punches Sam in the gut, and whips him across the ring. Punk goes for a leg lariat, but Sam ducks under it, causing Punk to crash onto the mat. X continues running, and dropkicks a rising Punk, sending him slamming against the cage. Sam turns around, and is kicked in the gut by Joey Leone. Joey grabs Sam, and drops him with a reverse DDT! Leone moves his body a little, and gets in position for the Dragon Sleeper! Leone has locked on the hold that made Sam tap out 3 months ago at Rumble in the Jungle! X struggles, trying to get free, but Leone is relentless. His cold dead grip is locked on and Sam has no way out. Punk runs up, and splashes both men, not letting Sam tap out. Punk mounts Joey and begins pummeling him with lefts and rights. The heart of the champion is now complete, and he stands up, and roars for the crowd. He lifts Joey up, and pushes him into the corner. Running knee lift! Joey slumps over, but Punk catches him with the Urinage! Leone is slammed onto the mat, and now Punk shifts himself, and locks on the Anaconda Vice! Joey roars in pain as Punk pulls away at his arm, trying to get him to tap. Leone’s arm is raised in the air, almost ready to drop, when Sam X comes off the top rope, and hits a massive Frog Splash on both men! Sam has prevented Joey from tapping out! X sees the prone Punk, and goes to his feet, X hooks the leg, and falls on Punk, then grabs his chin and begins pulling! The STF! Sam has locked Punk in an STF! CM yells in pain, as Sam roars for him to tap out. Punk looks like he is going to tap, but Joey comes and dropkicks Sam right in the face! X tumbles off of Punk, as Joey regains himself. Sam lifts himself to his feet, as does Punk. Punk goes aggressive, and swings at Joey, but Leone hits a step up enziguri on the champion. Punk turns around, and is hoisted up by Sam, who delivers another massive Void Slam! CM is out cold, and Leone charges Sam, hitting a flying forearm on the former Custom Champ. Sam quickly nips up, much to Joey’s dismay, and charges at him. X delivers a half hearted spear to Joey, most likely because of all he has given for this match.
Sam is bleeding profusely from the head, as are both of the others. X turns around and begins climbing the cage, hell bent on becoming the Intercontinental Champion. X is climbing slowly, which allows Joey to regain himself. X is nearing the top as Joey begins climbing. Using all of his will power, Leone climbs as fast as he can. Sam is straddling himself on the top when the New Age Outlaws bolt down from the ramp. X begins climbing down, and is about to reach the floor, but Billy Gunn grabs him in an electric chair like hold! What the hell is going on! Road Dogg begins talking shit to Sam as Joey continues climbing. Leone straddles the top, and falls, hitting the floor! Leone has won the IC Title! Leone has won!Finkel: HERE IS YOUR WINNER, AND THE NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION, JOEY LEONE!!!!!!!!!!The fans roar in cheers as Leone is handed the IC title, and helped to his feet. Joey raises the title over his head, then looks over at Sam, who is being held by Billy Gunn. With a confused look on his face, Leone walks up the ramp, and stops once more at the top. Joey raises the IC Title above his head, and raises his free arm up, before leaving the arena.
The cage is raises from the ring, and CM Punk is rolled onto a stretcher. The EMTs roll him out of the arena, leaving Sam and the NAO.
Billy Gunn slams Sam onto the floor. with a vicious Electric Chair Drop, then lifts him back up, and rolls him into the ring. Gunn slides in, but Road Dogg goes around and grabs a mic from the ring worker. Dogg slides in, and looks at the bloody Sam X. Dogg: Sam, a while back, you said that you were part of the greatest tag team ever. But that’s in the past. You see, the NAO is the future of tag team wrestling, and theres nothing you can do to stop us. SO Sam, me and Billy here are going to show you why you shouldn’t mess with the NEW AGE OUTLAWS! Dogg stomps on Sam, who is utterly defenseless. Gunn helps by punching Sam in the face. This is nothing more then a petty mugging. Suddenly, a familiar guitar tune rips over the arena, and the fans go insane as ‘Follow” by Breaking Benjamin plays over the arena. Joey Phenomenal steps onto the ramp, wearing jeans and a black t-shirt. Darrell McCeaton tails Joey, looking as homeless as ever. Joey races down the ramp, and slides into the ring. Phenomenal clotheslines Dogg, then turns back to Gunn. Joey dropkicks Billy off of Sam. Road Dogg tries attacking him from behind, but Joey counters, and kicks him in the gut. Phenomenal Cutter! Gunn is up, and finds Joey staring at him. He tries backing up, but hits Sam X, who is standing straight, and looks really pissed off. Sam kicks him in the ribs, and lifts him onto his shoulder as JP climbs to the apron. Sam roars, and Joey spring boards off the top rope, and hits a cutter! The PHENOMENA! Gunn is slammed onto the mat as Sam and Joey look at each other, then embrace in the middle of the ring. “Follow” begins playing as The New Phenomenon raise each others hands. The screen cuts away.

We cut from the ring where the newly re-united New Phenomenon stands, and cut to the back. In this room, Vince McMahon stands with the Iron Sheik and his son Shane.
Vince: Tonight is the night I put that no good son of a bitch Kennedy into bankruptcy. It is a ladder match boys, so if things seem to be going bad out there, by all means, make your presence known.Shane: Yes dad.
Sheik: Mister ehh McMahon, if you will eh call on it. I will go down to the eh ring, and like I say to that no good punk gay Brian Blair, I will BREAK HIS BACK, F**K HIS ASS AND MAKE HIM HUMBELL!
Vince and Shane look at each other, then back to Sheik.
Vince: Very good. Now boys, I got a job to do. And trust me, Ken Kennedy, stands NO Chance In Hell!
McMahon walks off the set, leaving Shane and Sheik in the back. |
We cut from Vince McMahon to the interview set, where Todd Grisham stands with Mr. Kennedy.
Todd: Mr. Kennedy, we are just moments away from quite possibly, one of the biggest matches in your career. What are your thoughts going tinto this match?
Kennedy smirks at the camera, then spits out his gum.
Kennedy: Todd, I'm feeling very confidant about my match. Vince isn't a trained wrestler; but I am. This is also a ladder match setting, and I will have no problem beating his ass to the ground. Because once I am done beating McMahon, and quite possibly his son Shane, and that old Iranian hack, the Iron Sheik, I will climb the ladder. I will climb the ladder and grab the briefcase, and I will rid the world of this ridiculous lawsuit, and I will be 5 Million Dollars richer. And the winner of the match will be......MISTAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH KENNNEDYYYYYYYY..............................................................
KENNEDYYYYYYYYY!
Kennedy smiles and slams the mic into Todd's chest, and walks off the set. |
Vince McMahon vs. Mr. Kennedy "Lawsuit Ladder Match!" (By using his well known trickery, Vince McMahon lured Kennedy and Kurt Angle into a sneak attack. As Kennedy sat in the back, his head busted open, the thought of revenge came to him. After putting Vince through a hell he never thought he could endure, Vince went to his lawyer, and filed a lawsuit against him. Kennedy found himself in the courts, about to go bankrupt. However, the decision was made, that these two men would collide in the ring at Summer Meltdown. With the lawsuit held up above the ring, who will climb the ladder to get it?)The camera cuts to the ring where we see the 5 Million Dollar beifcase hanging above the ring. Ladders line the ring, and Howard Finkel stands in the center.Howard Finkel: Lades and Gentlemen, it is now time for the Lawsuit Ladder Match! Hanging above my head is a contract for a lawsuit filed against Mr. Kennedy, and a contract for 5 MILLION DOLLARS! Now, to win this match, you must climb up to this hanging briefcase, and pull it down. The man who does this first will be declared the winner of the Lawsuit Ladder Match!Finkel climbs out of the ring as we await our two competitors. The camera pans from the top of the arena, around the SNME wrestling ring are 4 ladders surrounding each side of the squared circle, it is just moments until the epic ladder match between Mr. McMahon and Mr. Kennedy goes under way. The camera pans to the ramp, one of the two opponents are about to come out, two ladders surround each side of the ramp.
No Chance in Hell echoes loudly throughout the arena, suddenly the silent crowd boo’s so loud that it competes with Vince McMahon’s theme song. Vincent Kennedy McMahon stomps out of the curtain wearing black jeans, a tight black wife beater, with elbow pads and gloves with cut open fingers. Although Mr. McMahon is 62 years of age his muscles don’t show it Mr. McMahon’s physique competes with the toughest wrestlers here on SNME. Vince smirks proudly as he stands a top the ramp. He begins walking down the ramp with his legs spread apart taking vast steps down the ramp with his cocky smile. Once he reaches the bottom of the ramp he looks up at the ladder right in front of his face, suddenly his side smirk becomes more of a frown. Mr. McMahon circles the ladder as he continues to stare up at the top, after doing one full rotation he rolls into the ring and cracks his knuckles; he jumps up and down a few times in preparation for his match.
Suddenly "Miiiiiiiiissterrrrr Kennnnnnedy" blares throughout the arena. Out of the ramp jumps out Ken Kennedy who dons black “Mr. Kennedy” tights, elbow pads and knee pads with wrestling boots that reach up to his knee pads. Mr. Kennedy smirks as he chews gum; fans give him cheers as he looks at the two ladders beside him. His smirk disappears as he looks at Mr. McMahon who circles the ring nervously. He walks down the ramp staring at his opponent, when he reaches the bottom he stares at the ladder. Mr. Kennedy begins climbing the ladder, when he reaches the top he sits down on the top step. He gives Mr. McMahon the thumb signal as he jumps off the other side of the ladder; he rolls into the ring and steps into the center of the ring. A microphone comes down from the ceiling, it falls into Mr. Kennedy’s hands.Mr. Kennedy: This contestant hails from Green Bay, Wisconsin and weighs in at a total of 248 pounds! Miiiiiiiiissteeerrrrr Kenneee….Suddenly Mr. McMahon comes from behind and hammers Kennedy in the back. Kennedy falls to his knees as Mr. McMahon begins hammering his back. Kennedy powers through Vince’s powerful forearms to the back and gets back on his feet. Vince punches him once, then Kennedy, then Vince, then Kennedy, Kennedy again, and again! Kennedy runs back on the ropes and runs after Vince; Vince bends down preparing to flip Ken over. Kennedy stops and kick Mr. McMahon right in the chest. McMahon falls back.
Kennedy seizes the moment and quickly rolls to the outside of the ring. Ke takes one of them ladders and folds it up. Mr. Kennedy rolls the ladder in and comes in after it. By now Vince has fully recovered. Kennedy quickly grabs the ladder, so does Vince. Each of them grab a step and fight for it. Vince over powers Kennedy. Then Kennedy over powers Vince. Vince pushes Kennedy into the turnbuckle. As Vince continues smashing the ladder into Kennedy’s chest he endures the pain and slowly climbs his turnbuckle. Finally Kennedy reaches the top and jumps off, flipping over McMahon. With the ladder still in hand, Vince falls back as the ladder crashes down onto his chest.
Kennedy rolls back up and raises his hands in victory. McMahon slowly pushes the ladder off his chest and rolls around in pain; his chest is a bright red. Ken Kennedy takes the ladder and sets it up in the middle of the ring, he begins climbing it, only halfway up Mr. McMahon slowly begins getting up, so Kennedy jumps off knowing McMahon would push him off, Kennedy grabs McMahon by the back of the neck and slams his face onto one of the ladders steps. Mr. McMahon circles widely grasping his forehead in pain.
From the crowd you see a figure walking through the fans to the front row, he has a dark hoody on so you can’t see who it is. He jumps over the barrier and catches Kennedy’s attention, from behind McMahon hammers Kennedy into the back, he flies over the top rope and to the ground. The man in the hooded sweater steps back with his hands in the air, he climbs back over the barrier and disappears into the crowd. Mr. McMahon climbs out of the ring across from Ken who slowly recovers; Vince folds the ladder up and slides it into the ring. He then digs under the ring, he pulls out a table and sets it up. Vince looks around for Ken, but he’s nowhere to be found!
Vince climbs onto the apron and places his hands on the top rope looking over the other side of the ring. Kennedy crawls through the apron and appears behind Vince, he slowly climbs onto the table behind Vince and quickly grasps the back of his neck, Ken throws Vince over the ropes who lands on the same ladder he just threw into the ring a few minutes ago. Kennedy steps off of the table and goes under the apron for another table! Kennedy slides the table under the bottom rope.
Ken enters the ring as Vince gets up to his knees. Ken lifts the table and sets it up! Ken guides Vince onto his feet and wraps his arm around his shoulder. Ken lifts Vince into the air and places him onto the table, if Vince begins squirming he will jump onto him, but if he remains unconscious he will take the briefcase for the win. Ken begins climbing the ladder as the same guy with the hoody comes running down the ramp. The man in the hoody slides into the ring, Ken doesn’t even notice. The mans hoody falls down… it’s Shane McMahon! Shane pushes the ladder as Kennedy flies over the top ropes and onto one of the announce tables on the outside! Shane sets the ladder up as another man comes running down the ramp… it’s The Iron Sheik! Sheik tries waking Vince up as Shane checks on Kennedy.
They help Vince up as they move the table next to the ladder, but he is still unconscious, the ref doesn’t know what to do! They lift Vince on the table to use as a stepping stone to the briefcase, he barely wakes up. Vince doesn’t have the strength to climb the ladder! As Kennedy lies unconscious outside the ring Shane circles the ring thinking of and idea. He walks over to Sheik and whispers something into his ear. Sheik takes the second ladder and sets it up. They place each ladder next to the long sides of the table. They help Vince up onto the table to the ladder. Sheik and Shane climb the other ladder to help assist Vince up. Vince begins slowly climbing the same ladder as Shane assists him up as the Iron Sheik stands on the other side of the ladder.
Vince reaches the top and raises his hands up to the briefcase. He places his hands on the clip, he is about to unbuckle it until suddenly Kennedy rolls into the ring! Kennedy pushes the ladder that Shane and Sheik are on! They both fall to the outside of the ring and crash through the table that was earlier set up by Vince! Kennedy leaps onto the table in front of him and climb onto the ladder with Vince. Vince lowers his arms from the briefcase and attempts to fight back. Vince lands a punch on Kennedy, Vince, Kennedy, Vince, Kennedy, Vince, Kennedy, Kennedy, Kennedy! Mr. Kennedy lifts Vince onto his shoulders oh no! Ken Kennedy jumps off the top of the ladder oh god! Kennedy and Vince crash through the table below them as Kennedy connects with the Green Bay Plunge! Kennedy rolls several feet away from Vince. Ken slowly begins climbing back up to his feet as Mr. McMahon, Shane, and the Iron Sheik lie unconscious.
Kennedy finally gets up to his feet as he holds onto the top rope, Ken staggers to the ladder and begins climbing slowly step by step. Ken finally reaches the top and sits atop the ladder, he breathes heavily as he places both hands on the buckle. He unbuckles the briefcase!Howard Finkel: Your winner of the Lawsuit Ladder Match . . . Mister Kennedy!“Miiiiiiisssteeerrr Kennnedddy” blasts throughout the arena as Ken hugs the briefcase, sitting atop the huge ladder! Mr. McMahon, his son and the Sheik lie motionless as paramedics rush down the ramp. Kennedy takes a large leap off the top of the briefcase and rolls out of the ring. Ken climbs the ramp backwards as paramedics strap Shane, Vince, and Sheik onto stretchers. As Ken reaches the top of the ramp he raises his briefcase into the air! The camera fades as Ken makes his way to the back. |

As we cut from the carnage in the ring, we go straight to the interview set. Standing there is Chris Jericho, and Todd Grisham.
Todd: Jericho, we are just moments away from one of the biggest matches in SNME History, if not the BIGGEST. What are your thoughts going into this dream match?
Jericho: Todd, moments away from the match, and I already can feel the ending. It will be the Has Been Kid Shawn Michaels tapping out to the Walls of Jericho.
Todd: Chris, you can't just count out HBK. He is the Show Stopper I mean.
Jericho face palms Grisham, sending him down to the floor.
Jericho: Now that the assclown of the night is out of the way, it is show time Michaels. Are you ready to go mano e mano with the Highlight of the Night? With the Ayatollah of Rock n Rolla? With the King of the World? Michaels get ready, because tonight, you will crumble under the Walls of Jericho.
Chris storms off the set, leaving Todd on the floor, holding his head. |
Silence fills the room. A man, destined to prove those who say otherwise wrong once again. A man, determined to overcome a lion. A man, driven by the love if his family. He sits there, not a sound in the room. His elbows rest on his knees. His head lay in his hands. Air begins to fill his lungs as he takes a deep breath. The very air that goes into his body, is the very air which will help him to survive the night. As the air is released, the silence is broken with soft spoken words.
"God, I know I've done some pretty bad things in my past. And I know that after doing all of those things . . . I found you and chose my path. All I ask of you . . . Is that tonight you keep me living through the night. It isn't just a battle I'm going through with . . . It's a war. A war between hatred and love . . . Man and Beast. And also, I ask that as my family watches on, me doing what i do best, that you keep them safe from fear of losing me. This is my last chance, and I am reaching for it all. There is no turning back, and God . . . I pray to you, let me live this night through . . ."
The soft whisper comes to a stop as the silence fills the room once again. He stands up before us, a look in his eye that is all too familiar to us. The cheers being to rumble through the arena, like thunder in the night. The tension is waiting to be broken. Bones are ready to shatter. Bodies are ready to be beaten. This is it. This is the time he has been waiting for, for the past few weeks.
He now shakes off all the jitters. There is no time for error. There is no time for being nervous. He has to take everything into consideration. Every maneuver. Every blow. He turns around, facing his locker. He opens it, revealing his chaps and vest. Just like those times before, he straps on his chaps. He then pulls his vest on, latching it together across the front. From the corner of the locker he pulls out a picture. In the picture he stands there, one arm around his wife, the other holding his youngest child. The other child stands in front of them, smiling because of the happieness they share together. As he looks at it he smiles, knowing that this is all that matters in his life . . . Nothing else.
He brings the picture to his lips, kissing it gently. He then takes one last deep breath. It is time. This is it. The calm before the storm is in occurrence. He turns to the camera. No fear. No worries. Not the slightest bit of a nervous tingle in his body. That look . . . Pride. Glory. It fills his eyes once more. The real man that we all once knew is there, ready for war. He steps forwards, leaving view. The door softly shuts behind him, leaving the camera left in his lockeroom. |
The image of Shawn's lockeroom is suddenly taken over by a video package. The package begins, showing the match graphic. Fozzy's "Enemy" begins to play as it shows Chris Jericho standing in a dark room. The view switches from angle to angle, showing every side of Chris. It then looks on, his eyes staring straight into the camera. Shawn Michaels is then shown. He stands in the middle of a ring; the arena completely empty except for him. After angle after angle the camera focuses on his face. His eyes looks deeply into the camera, showing that there is no fear in his body.
Do you remember me? You can't see the things That make me who I am You'll never understand
That I gotta keep movin' Your livin' off my sweat Movin' The devils on my back And these are the deeds that I dreamed about And you're always there to remind me
Clips from Shawn return to wrestling back in NHBWO are shown. With each clip, he shows more and more heart. It then shows him, World Heavyweight Championship in hand, blood pouring down his face, a tear in his eye. Each of his six World Heavyweight Championship victories are shown, finally showing him as he stood after a murderous match at Battlemania 2005 against Triple H.
That you're my Enemy All that we had Has gone away And there are times That fade away Cause you'll still be my Enemy
The only friend you had in me You turned on so easily I'm sad to see you go Atleast now I know
Chris Jericho's beginning in NHBWO is shown. Just like Shawn, he displays intensity and heart. Jericho is shown in some of his greatest matches, defeating some of the men from the NHBWO roster. It then begins to show his time in Saturday Night's Main Event, such as winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Triple H at Rumble in the Jungle. It then goes on to show Jericho winning the World Heavyweight Championship for the second time; this time defeating his best friend, Batista.
That I gotta keep movin' Your living off my sweat Movin' The devils on my back And these are the deeds that I dreamed about And you're always there to remind me
That you're my Enemy All that we had Has gone away And there are times That fade away And you'll still be my Enemy
We now see clips from the Elimination Chamber just last month. Shawn is shown giving Jericho slow counts and completely pissing him off. It then shows Jericho as he is about to make Kennedy tap out . . . Sweet Chin Music! Jericho goes limp and Kennedy covers him. Shawn slides into place so fast giving the three count. Jericho has been eliminated from the Elimination Chamber.
My enemy
My enemy
My enemy
And I see clearly now You tried to bleed me
We then see Chris Jericho challenging Shawn, calling him all sorts of uncalled for names. Shawn stands there before Jericho, no emotion on his face whatsoever. Shawn simply walks away, leaving Jericho with no answer. We then see Jericho banging on the window of Shawn's limo, yelling at him to give him an answer. But just as before, he gets nothing.
I see clearly now You tried to feed on me
I see clearly now You tried to bleed me
I see clearly now You tried to feed on me
I see clearly now You tried to bleed me
And I see clearly now You tried to feed on me
Clips of Jericho fighting Randy Orton are shown. Jericho picks up the win and begins celebrating. But, just as he thinks he is safe, Shawn appears . . . Sweet Chin Music! Jericho is layed out and Shawn accepts his challenge.
And you're my Enemy All that we had Has gone away And there are times That fade away But you'll still be my enemy
It then shows clips of the two men brawling last week on SNME. The two go at it like there is no end. Thier heart . . . Their passion . . . Their glory, displayed in their eyes.
Hooah
My enemy
My enemy
My enemy
The video slowly begins to fade out as "Enemy" comes to an end. |

"HBK" Shawn Michaels vs. "Lionheart" Chris Jericho "Dream Match!" (Throughout their history in wrestling, Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho have been known as two of the greatest talents to ever step into the squared circle. These two men have never had the opportunity to step into the ring . . . Until Now! Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho will collide in what fans are calling their "Dream Match". Finally, SNME fans will get to see what they've been wanting since before SNME even begun . . . Who will come out as the better man? Chris Jericho? Or Shawn Michaels?)A massive countdown appears on the screen as the lights dim, and the crowd goes wild as the camera zooms up and into the timer, counting down from 5, 4, 3, 2…….Y2J! The timer stops and we see Jericho’s entrance video on the screen, until a massive explosion rocks the foundations of the arena, and the camera cuts back out and catches the outstretched outline of a figure. As Jericho’s music begins to play, Chris spins around, a cocky look across his face, and pumps his elbows into his torso. Chris stands atop the ramp in red tights lined with barb wire, smirking at the fans, who look excited for the main event. Howard Finkel: Making his way to the ring . . . He is "The Lionheart" Chris Jericho!Jericho struts down the ramp, talking to himself. As he nears the ring steps, Jericho quickly jogs up, then steps into the ring. Chris taunts in the ring as his music slows down and comes to a stop. Jericho bounces off the ropes, preparing for one of the biggest matches in his career. As Jericho patiently waits, chants begin to fill the arena.“H-B-K! H-B-K! H-B-K! H-B-K! H-B-K!”Like a bat out of hell, “Sexy Boy” slams through the P.A. System. What was eighty-thousand strong booing, suddenly turns to eighty-thousand screaming their heads off. The man, the myth, the freaking legend Shawn Michaels comes running onto the stage. He is decked out in white leather pants with a red inner trim. Running down the white part are red crosses signifying Shawn’s faith. And as he spins around we see a broken heart on the butt, giving his attire a little more flavor. As Shawn spins around, taking in everything around him, the lights shimmer and gleam off the sequins hanging off his entrance vest. Shawn motions for more from the crowd, and they politely increase their volume. The sound of the crowd begins to drive Shawn into a happiness like no other and he begins to make his way down the ramp. Shawn stomps, half way down the ramp, looking from side to side. With a smile on his face Shawn spreads one leg out while bending the other at the knee. In an instant he lowers himself into his “Sexy Boy” pose. And at the right timing to the music, he flexes his muscles bringing up a glimmering wall of the most beautiful pyros ever displayed. The thundering boom goes off behind him across the stage shaking the very foundation of Madison Square Garden.Shawn lowers his arms, the smoke lingering behind him. Shawn lifts up from the pose and continues down the ramp.Howard Finkel: And for the opponent. Making his way to the ring, he is the owner of SNME.... “The Icon”......”The Main Event”.....”The Showstoppa”.... He is “The Heart Break Kid”.....SHAWN! MICHAELS!!Shawn walks around the ring, high-fiving as many fans as possible. Shawn then climbs up the steps and enters the ring. On the opposite side, Jericho exits the ring, keeping away from Shawn for as long as possible. Shawn spins around in the ring, bringing out more and more applause from the crowd. He then stops dead center of the ring and once again lowers himself into that same pose as before. Just like on the ramp, Shawn flexes his muscles at the right time, bringing pyros across the scaffold above them exploding high into the air. All over the arena, golden shimmering pyros go off letting everyone in the world know that “The Heart Break Kid” Shawn Michaels is in the building.
With all the pyros done, Shawn stands up and unhooks his vest. He slides it off his shoulders and tosses it out of the ring. Shawn then pulls part of his hair back, leaving the rest down. Shawn backs into his corner and lays across the ropes, making a mockery of Vince on the outside. Through the cheers you can hear Jericho yelling.Jericho: Shut the hell up, assclown!Jericho quickly rolls into the ring. He stands dead center, his eyes locked with Shawn's. A stare down for the ages begins. The tension builds. The anticipation begins to grow with excitement."Ding, Ding, Ding!"The bell sounds and the crowd erupts in cheers. Shawn smiles at the crowd, letting them know that he is ready to wage war upon Jericho. As Shawn and Jericho lock eyes, Shawn beckons Chris, daring him, tempting him to hit him. Jericho brings his hand back and suddenly nails Shawn across the face. Spit flies from his mouth, almost landing on some of the people in the front row. Shawn holds his jaw, looking at the crowd. He then smiles, daring Jericho to give him another. Jericho swings . . . He misses! Shawn ducks under . . . Right! Left! Right! Right! Toe-kick! Shawn sends Jericho off the ropes . . . Jericho comes back, ducking under a clothesline . . . Shawn ducks a clothesline from Jericho . . . Both men shoot off the ropes . . . Double Clothesline!!!
Both men crash to the mat, laying flat on their backs. They both take a deep breath before hitting a nip-up; each man standing on their feet now. The crowd applauds them both, giving each man their respect. Shawn reaches his hand up, signaling for a test of strength. Jericho inches closer to him, reaching for Shawn's hand. Jericho us about to take Shawn's hand . . . Knee! Shawn bends forward as Jericho runs off the ropes. Jericho leaps, grabbing Shawn's hair. Bull-No! Shawn reverses! Back body drop! Jericho flops around on the mat, holding his back. Shawn quickly stands up, pulling Chris up.
With a hard shove, Jericho sends Michaels stumbling back wards. The two suddenly jolt forward, tying up. Each man pushes and shoves, giving it their all. They quickly break the hold, backing way from one another. The crowd is going ecstatic as chants of "Let's Go Michaels!" and "Let's Go Jericho!" fill the arena. It is a battle between good and evil, face and heel. Both men slowly circle each other. Jericho points across the ring at Shawn, calling him out. Shawn simply laughs at his insults, not letting them phase him in the tiniest bit.
The two slowly inch forward, yet again. They lock up! The crowd goes wild, yelling for the superstar that want to get the upper-hand. Shawn pushes . . . Chris pushes . . . Shawn suddenly breaks the tie-up and locks Jericho in a side headlock. Shawn then hits a takedown. Jericho manages to lock in a scissors hold around Shawn's neck. Shawn quickly squirms out, breaking the hold. Without wasting any time, both men are back up once again. They circle the ring again, stalking . . . Thinking . . . Contemplating.
Once again, they tie up! Arm-drag takedown to Shawn! HBK stands up, smiling at Chris. He then goes to his corner where he lays his feet across the top ropes, laying on them. Shawn yawns, mocking Jericho. Jericho rushes into the corner. Shawn ducks! Chris turns around to be caught with a a right . . . Left! Back elbow! Shawn sends Jericho across the ring and follows up. Jericho leaps onto the bottom rope and springs off . . . Diving clothesline!
Shawn quickly stands up, pointing at Jericho. With a cocky smirk across his face, Jericho flexes his muscles and begins to taunt Shawn. Jericho charges at him. Shawn ducks a clothesline. Rear hammer lock! Shawn pulls on Jericho's arm, trying to make him feel some pain. Jericho reverses it, locking in a hammer lock of his own! Shawn doesn't stand for it and delivers two stiff back elbows to Chris' chin. Chris breaks the hold and Shawn hits the ropes . . . Jericho goes for a hip toss . . . No! Shawn reverses it, nailing a hip toss of his own. Shawn goes to grab Jericho's legs, but he is quickly shoved off.
Both men are back to their feet. Shawn goes for a toe-kick. Jericho takes him down with a single-leg takedown. Jericho goes for Shawn's legs, only to be shoved off. Jericho charges at Shawn. Drop toe-hold! Shawn dives onto him for the quick cover!"1 . . . 2 . . ."Jericho quickly kicks out with power. Shawn stands up, pulling Jericho to his feet. He sends Jericho into the ropes. Shawn lowers his head, setting up for a big back body drop. Jericho scouts it and stops just in time. Thwack! Jericho delivers a thunderous kick right to Shawn's chest. Jericho pushes Shawn against the ropes and sends him across the ring. Shawn hits the other ropes and comes back, ducking a clothesline. Shawn hits the ropes again, sliding through Jericho's legs. Double-leg takedown from behind. Shawn drops down, locking his arms around Jericho's neck. Shawn locks his arms tighter, but Jericho begins to fight it. He stands up, Shawn still locked onto him. Jericho suddenly escapes . . . Swinging neck breaker! Shawn goes down, and Jericho hits the ropes. Jericho leaps over Shawn, leaping onto the middle rope. Jericho flips in mid-air, going for the Lionsault . . . No! Shawn stands up, catching him.
Shawn carries him to the corner . . . Snake eyes! Jericho hits the top turnbuckle face first, stumbling back. Shawn kicks him in the mid-section, whipping him back first into the corner. Shawn delivers a hard elbow to Jericho's jaw, delivering the most pain he can. He then pulls his hand back. A thunderous slap echos through the arena as Shawn nails a knife-edge chop. Chop after chop, Jericho's chest turns a deep red. He finally begins to fight back, drilling Shawn in the mouth with a combination of lefts and rights. Shawn is rocked back as Jericho dives onto him. Jericho begins to unleash, drilling Shawn with as many lefts and rights he can. Blow after blow, Jericho begins to yell. Referee John Shontz finally warms him, telling him to break it up.
Jericho lets up and quickly backs away from Shawn. As Shawn rolls onto his stomach to overcome the pain, Jericho lets out a smile. The fans quickly erupt in boos, letting him know exactly what they feel about him. Jericho wastes no more time and pulls Shawn up. He whips him across the ring. Shawn hits the ropes . . . Dropkick! Shawn stumbles back, landing in the corner. As Shawn pulls himself up using the ropes, Jericho charges in, driving his knee into Shawn's mid-section. Blow after blow, Jericho robs Shawn of the air in his lungs. Jericho reaches back, delivering a crushing elbow to the jaw. Shawn lays in the corner, the only thing holding him up are the ropes. As Jericho continues the beat, Shawn takes every blow. He takes each punch, each kick, each chop. Then, from deep within, Shawn suddenly shoves Jericho off of him. Jericho stumbles back and Shawn dives at him!
Shawn straddles Jericho, delivering blow after blow, just as Jericho just done doing. Then, grabbing Jericho's, Shawn slams it hard on the mat. Shawn quickly gets up and hits the ropes. He jumps over Jericho who quickly gets to his feet. Shawn comes at him, but Jericho leap frogs over him. Both men hit the ropes again. This time Shawn drops to the mat as Jericho hits the other set of ropes. As Jericho comes back, Shawn delivers a standing dropkick! Jericho stumbles back wards, falling through the ropes and to the outside. Shontz tells Jericho to get back in, but Shawn won't let him. Every time Jericho gets close to the ring, Shawn begins kicking through the ropes. Jericho finally decides to stay on the outside, hoping that Shawn will eventually back off.
In the ring Shawn motions for some noise from the crowd. Thousands upon thousands of screaming fans begin to cheer for "The Showstoppa"! Jericho tries to ignore it, but it quickly begins to get to him. Jericho turns to the nearest chanting fan and begins yelling at him. But, as he doesn't pay attention, Shawn hits the ropes . . . Jericho slowly turns around . . . Shawn leaps over the ropes . . . Suicide dive! Shawn crashes down on Jericho, bringing the both of them to the ground. Shawn slowly stands up as Shontz begins the count out."1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . 4 . . . 5 . . . 6 . . ."Shawn quickly rolls in, breaking the count, but as he rolls out Jericho catches him with a stiff kick to the mid-section. Jericho grabs Shawn by the back of his neck and his tights, sending him crashing into the steel steps."1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . 4 . . ."Before Shontz can count any further, Jericho rolls in to break the count. He immediately rolls back out, to be pulled into the ring post by the front of his tights. Shawn quickly takes action, shoving the top half of the stairs from the bottom. He then hammers Jericho across the back with some stiff shots. Shawn pulls Jericho onto the bottom half of the steps, placing his head between his legs. The crowd goes wild as they realize Shawn is about to go for a piledriver. But before he can nail it, Jericho shoves Shawn back first into the ring post. Shawn lets out a yell, but doesn't let go of Jericho. He hammers him across the back, making sure Jericho doesn't reverse it. Shawn then lifts him up . . . Piledriver! Jericho's head is driven onto the steps by Shawn and falls limp to the ground." . . . 5 . . . 6 . . . 7"Shawn quickly rolls in and back out, to yet again break the count. He then pulls Jericho up by the hair, bringing him to his feet. He then goes for an Irish whip. Jericho quickly reverses, sending Shawn crashing into the barricade! Shawn lets out a yell as pain shoots through his back. Jericho comes charging at him . . . Clothesline! Shawn flips over the barricade, landing in the front row of chairs. The fans are quickly pushed back by security. Jericho reaches over the barricade, setting Shawn up for a vertical suplex. Within an instant, Jericho suplexes Shawn back over the barricade and onto the mat. Once again Shawn yells in pain. How much damage can his back substain? Jericho quickly pulls Shawn up, rolling him into the ring. Jericho climbs onto the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle.
As Jericho looks down at Shawn, he awaits his next move. Shawn slowly stands up, staggering around. Jericho leaps off for a missile dropkick . . . No! Shawn catches his feet, bringing the back of Jericho's head slamming against the mat. Shawn places his leg over Jericho's and turns him over . . . Sharpshooter! The crowd suddenly explodes as Shawn leans back, putting as much pressure as he can on Jericho's back and knees. Jericho fights and fights, quickly squirming to the ropes. But Shawn doesn't break the hold. Shontz warns him and begins to count."1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . 4!"Shawn finally breaks the hold and stomps Jericho across his back for good measure. As Shawn backs away, he begins to motion for the crowd. They begin to cheer, only to see that Jericho is slowly making it to his feet. Shawn goes for a kick to the mid-section . . . Jericho catches his foot! Shawn goes for the inziguir . . . No! Jericho catches his foot, bringing Shawn's back to the mat. With no hesitation, Jericho tries to flip him over. Shawn uses all of his leg strength, shoving Jericho off, and against the ropes. Shawn nips up, running at Jericho. Shawn goes for a clothesline! Jericho ducks, flipping Michaels up and over the ropes. Just like a cat, Shawn lands on the apron. Jericho nails him with an elbow, sending him to the floor.
Jericho quickly rolls out of the ring, hammering across Shawn's back with big double axe-handles. Shawn stumbles towards the announce table, leaning onto it. Jericho grabs a handful of hair, slamming Shawn's face onto the table. Jericho goes for it again, but Shawn reverses! Shawn grabs Jericho, slamming his head against the table over and over again. Shawn then releases Jericho, who stumbles backwards, leaning against the ring apron. Shawn begins to clear the table, pulling the top off first, and then the monitors. Owens and Styles quickly stand up, moving from harm's way. As Shawn turns around, Jericho delivers a stiff kick to the mid-section. Shawn bends forwards and Jericho lifts him up, slamming him onto the table. Shontz quickly slides out of the ring, telling Jericho that they need to get back into the ring. However, Jericho does not listen. He shoves Shontz back, causing him to slam into the ring post, knocking him out for the moment.
Taking notice to Shontz being down, Jericho picks up one of the monitors. As Shawn sits up on the table, Jericho bashes him over the head with it. As Shawn falls back once again, blood begins to pour from a gash on his forehead. Jericho smiles, taking notice to the blood. He then slams down the monitor and climbs onto the apron. Jericho grabs onto the top rope and suddenly leaps onto the middle rope. He leaps off it, flipping in mid-air . . . Lionsault! Jericho comes crashing down across Shawn, bringing the table collapsing to the floor!"Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!"The crowd begins chanting, impressed by what Jericho just pulled off. Jericho finally begins sits up. With a smile across his face he looks down at a broken Shawn Michaels. Jericho knows that this is a big opportunity to get the win. He pulls Shawn up, rolling him into the ring. Jericho quickly slides in, taking both of Shawn's legs into his grasp. As he drags Shawn to the center of the ring he flips him over, locking in the Walls of Jericho. Jericho leans further back, putting all the pressure he can on Michaels. As Jericho is almost sitting on Shawn's back, no pain is seen. Michaels is still out of it from the Lionsault on the announce table. Finally! Shawn suddenly looks up, pain shooting through his entire body.
Shawn begins to crawl across the ring, the ropes set in his site. Shawn crawls and crawls, each time being pulled back to the center. Jericho will not break the hold. He will not let go until Michaels is lifeless in the ring. With Shontz just waking up on the outside, Jericho looks over his shoulder to see if Shawn is ready to give up. However, Shawn isn't moving. He suddenly went limp to the mat, not moving an inch. A smile shoots across Jericho's face. He has done it. In a matter of seconds Shontz will see that Michaels is out of it and can go no longer. Shontz slides into the ring. He sees Jericho has Shawn locked in the Walls. He then sees that Shawn has no movement whatsoever going on. Shontz, about to call for the bell, suddenly gets a huge shock.
Shawn Michaels suddenly springs to life, leaping forward and grabbing onto the ropes. He has done it! Shawn broke the Walls of Jericho! Jericho breaks the hold and suddenly drives his elbow into Shawn's back. Shawn quickly rolls out of the ring and begins walking out the pain. Jericho continues after him, stalking him like a lion stalks its prey. Jericho goes for a clothesline . . . Shawn ducks! Drop toe-hold! Jericho hits the steps face first! Shawn grabs a handful of Jericho's hair and begins slamming his head into the steps. He then climbs to the top step, grabbing onto the ring post. Shawn jumps . . . Head stomp! Jericho begins to squirm around, blood pouring from his forehead. Shawn quickly pulls Jericho up . . . Vertical suplex!
Shawn stands up as fast as he can and rolls into the ring to break the ten count. He then rolls back out, pulling Jericho right back up. Shawn motions for the crowd . . . DDT! Jericho lays motionless on the floor as Shawn taunts the crowd. Chants begin erupting all across the arena, cheering for "The Showstoppa". Paying no attention, Shawn doesn't notice Jericho getting up. However, as he turns he ducks clothesline! Shawn rolls Jericho into the ring. Jericho lays in the perfect spot and Shawn points to the top rope. As Shawn climbs, Jericho suddenly jumps up. Jericho leaps onto the middle rope. He fights his way up to Shawn and the two begin exchanging blows on the top rope. Jericho hits Shawn with a body shot. Jericho grabs a handful of hair and leaps off . . . Top rope bulldog! Both men crash to the center of the ring, almost lifeless. Blood covers both men's faces. Neither man can move. Shontz quickly initializes the ten count."1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . 4 . . . 5 . . . 6 . . . 7 . . . 8 . . ."Both men slowly begin to move. Jericho, however, gets to his feet first. Jericho begins to beat on the mat, frustrated that he can't beat Shawn. He then gets a wicked smile across his face as he goes to the corner. Jericho suddenly begins doing the same thing Shawn was doing moments ago, stomping the mat. Shawn slowly stands up . . . Jericho goes for Sweet Chin Music! Shawn ducks . . . Sweet Chin Music! Jericho falls limp to the ground and Shawn staggers for a moment. He then suddenly falls backwards, laying across Jericho. Shontz slides into place . . ."1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!"The bell sounds as thousands upon thousands of fans begin cheering. The chorus of cheers brings Shawn sitting up. He looks around, almost not knowing what has happened. Shontz then helps him up as he raises his hand high in the air.Howard Finkel: Here is your winner . . . "The Heart Break Kid" . . . Shawn Michaels!"Sexy Boy" blares through the arena as thousands applaud the match they just saw. They know that deep down, both men gave it their all and spared nothing. Jericho slowly crawls to the ropes, looking on at Shawn standing in the middle of the ring. Shawn looks around at the crowd, thanking them for their applause. A smile rolls across his face. He is back. The man he once was . . . It's there again. Shawn looks over his shoulder, looking back at Jericho who is now standing. Jericho slowly makes his way to Shawn, looking him in the eyes. Shawn then extends his hand. Jericho stares at it, almost as if he still hated Shawn. But he couldn't resisi. He had to shake the hand of the man who just went toe to toe with him and won. Both men shake hands in the center of the ring. The crowd couldn't be any more thankful. Their cheers are deafening to the ear. Jericho begins to leave the ring, only to look back at Shawn who begins to bow to the fans. As Shawn is bent forward, bowing to the fans, Jericho suddenly comes up behind him . . . Low blow! Shawn gasps, falling to his knees. Jericho then bounces off the ropes . . . Stiff kick to the face!
Shawn falls limp the ground as the bell begins sounding. Shontz tells Jericho to leave, but he begins kicking Shawn in the ribs. Not only having blood pouring from his head, Shawn coughs up blood. Jericho takes advantage of an old man, beating him and beating him. Booing is suddenly broken by cheering. "The Game" Triple H rushes down the ramp, headed for the save. Jericho, however, slides out of the ring, making a smooth escape. Triple H bends down, checking on his best friend, Shawn Michaels. Jericho exchanges words with him, telling him that he shouldn't have come down here tonight. This night was his, not Michaels'. Referees tend to Michaels as we cut from the ring. |

We cut backstage to a dimly lit room. One light shines in the distance. We move closer to the light, seeing that it comes from the bathroom. We look in, seeing Sting, standing in front of the mirror, painting his face. With the white layer complete, Sting begins painting the lines on his face. First, he gets his eyes, forming a dark black circle around them. He then paints his lips black. He goes back up, taking care of all the other lines. He puts on the final touches and lays down the brush. He waits for a moment, staring deeply into the mirror, questioning himself. He takes one deep breath, taking in all of the fresh air around him. He then walks into the lockeroom area, flicking off the light behind him. Sting reaches into his bag, pulling out his gloves. He slips them onto his hands, one at a time. He then reaches into his locker, pulling out his long black coat. He slides it onto his arms and over his shoulders. He then picks up his bat as he heads for the door. He quietly slips through the door letting it close behind him. |
We cut backstage to see a semi open door, opened just wide enough to see a dim light shining on some lockers. The cameraman gently pushes the door open, revealing a bench in the far corner, graced by Kurt Angle. He is just finishing up lacing his boots, as he begins to stand up. He takes off his T shirt, revealing his wrestling attire. His match, his battle....his war, is about to begin. And he knows it. Kurt walks over to the row of lockers, and opens one, gently. He reaches in, pulling out what seems to be a picture. The picture is of his family. His wife. And his little girl. And his baby boy. He whispers something to himself with his eyes closed, then slowly kisses the picture. He puts it back in the locker, and slowly closes it. He puts his head back, letting out a huge breath of air. He starts shaking out his pre-match jitters, and begins to slowly jump up and down in place. He rolls his head around, cracking his neck. He stretches his arms and his legs. He walks over to a table, located next to the door. He picks up his Olympic Gold medal from the table, and places it firmly around his neck. He then picks up his mouthpiece. He puts it in place, and exits through the door, ready for his long awaited Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship match. |
The titan tron is invaded by the graphic for the SNME Title vs. World Heavyweight Title Unification match to crown the Undisputed Champion. Sting and Kurt Angle are shown face to face, each holding their respective Championship belt over their head. 'Soul On Fire' by HIM crashes onto the speakers, all through out the arena.
There's a flame, that leads our souls astray No one's safe from it's tender touch of pain And every day, it's looking for new slaves To celebrate, the beauty of the grave...
The screen seemingly shatters, as a digital effect depicts the two staring each other down, before Angle side steps Sting and attempts the Angle Slam. Bright colors engulf the video clips, and Sting counters and goes for a Scorpion Death Drop, only to have the World Champion counter his finisher.
We are like the living dead Sacrificing all we have For a frozen heart and a soul on fire We are like the living dead Craving for deliverance With a frozen heart and a soul on fire
Kurt Angle is shown on his rampages backstage, beating up the pyro guy and Alex Shelley before taking out members of the security team. Sting is shown smiling widely in the next shot, proud of his work.
And again, we're falling for disgrace As our hate shelters us from the rain We are are enslaved, by the sacred heart of shame And gently raped by the light of day
A montage of Sting's hard training is the highlight of the next shots, as it shows him training and mimmicking Angle's take down style and Ankle Lock evasions. The screen goes under the shatter effect again, before we see Kurt Angle training with parts pn avoiding the Scorpion Death Drop and Stinger Splash.
We are like the living dead Sacrificing all we have For a frozen heart and a soul on fire We are like the living dead Craving for deliverance With a frozen heart and a soul on fire
Valo Synncalire is shown turning Sting's chair around, only to find Kurt Angle. The World Champion stands up, and decks Synnclaire, before attempting to level him with the trademark Sting baseball bat. Synnclaire escapes, but Angle trashes the castle and leaves Sting a message by lighting his mask on fire.
Addicted to our divine despair The venom of the cross we bare The guilt will follow us to death
The camera zips around the insides of the castle, in fast motion with a blurry effect laminating the screen of the tron. Down the stairs, through the hallways, and then through the hidden door, into the dungeon. Sting is shown in full ring gear, holding his bat, sitting in a chair and staring at the floor.
We are like the living dead Sacrificing all we have For a frozen heart and a soul on fire We are like the living dead Craving for deliverance With a frozen heart and a soul on fire
The ending guitar riff closes out the video as the battles come to an end, and we see Sting and Kurt Angle facing off one more time beofre the big match... |

Great show, besides there being no Main Event.
The IC Match was spectacular and, in my opinion, tied for best match of the night, which is HBK vs Jericho.
The suprise match for me was Tank Terror vs. Kane. That match was awesome, and I'm really loving both gimmicks more and more every week.
Everything was solid.
Thanks to the writers of the show for bringing a great PPV. This is the time to pat yourselves on the back. Great show guys.
Again, sucks there's no Main Event.
