Open Letter To SNME:
I feel the need to clear a lot of things up.
The word is that I, Justin Tyger, and Randy Orton were “fired” from SNME, which is far from the truth. Late last night me and Orton walked out of SNME, ranting a anger fueled, hateful promo. Now, some stuff in there was a little too far, and dramatized, but a lot of what we said was what we feel.
I don’t want anyone who got the chance to see the promo before it was removed to think that we hold any grudges or ill will against SNME and the people in it. We don’t hate anyone, or have any problems with anyone in SNME. We felt it was needed to hopefully get through to people the much needed changes that need to occur in SNME to prevent it from dying another slow death. We do love this place, we don’t want it to go anywhere, but if me and Orton walking out had to be the spark that ignites major changes, so be it. I don’t regret doing it and or anything that was said.
Like I said, a lot of what was said was in hopes to get thing changed, but we do feel offended when we’re told that me, Orton, and Merc have nothing to do with keeping SNME crawling along. We may not a force behind the scenes, but what we do on the screen helps keeps SNME alive and active, and I take offense when I am laughed at, called stupid, and scoffed, and told we have nothing to do with keeping SNME alive.
Part of why we’re not a force behind the scenes, is because part of me feels that Shawn doesn’t want the help, and won't accept it, that he feels his ideas are better than what we think. Why try and help, only to be laughed at? I’ve put a lot of effort into the on screen events in the apparent Orton/Tyger saga, and the building of the Tyger/Merc friendship. Shawn passes this all off, doing what he wants unless forced upon.
I’m not saying Shawn is a bad person, no. Shawn has been a great owner, booker, etc, but I, and others, feel that Shawn needs to lessen his load, and step aside. Shawn has neither the time nor desire to keep SNME running properly. I’m not saying guys like me would do better than him, I don’t know. All I know is action has to be taken, if not forced upon SNME to keep things going the way it should be. I believe that a newer management MUST surface in order for SNME to survive. It has to be a number of people, not just Shawn and his one or two helpfuls.
I am not putting all of the blame on Shawn, because that would be unfair. A lot of blame falls on the wrestlers for not being more dedicated and being as helpful as they should be. I’ve seen first hand, that with Shawn in full control, very little of that can truly happen. Shawn needs to step aside for the time being, giving power to people with the time, desire, and dedication to get SNME back to where it should be.
I’m sorry that me and Orton will be no part of this. We can’t be, not after last night. Something must be done inside of SNME to keep it going, and I feel that I have no chance of effectively doing this with the current mindset that is out there. I hope me and Orton’s words will have a true and positive effect on SNME, and it will continue to thrive and grow, but this will be without me.
I hope SNME regains it’s footings. I will be watching. I hope this doesn’t get removed, so people will be able to read from it, and hopefully figure out a way for SNME to continue.
