Justin Tyger In Hospital Following H2H
Reporter: El Case' Cage
- Following the sickening punt delivered to his skull during the Elimination Chamber match by his friend Randy Orton, Justin Tyger was rushed to the hospital, not regaining concussion for several hours.
The doctors denied an interview with Tyger, due to his current condition, but his primary doctor, Dr. Robert Dylan, updated us on Tyger's condition:
"Mr. Christopher was unconscious most of the night following the match. He woke up around 7:30 or so this morning. He is very disoriented and confused. He still remembers what happened last night, so it's good that he has no amnesia to speak of from the event. His speaking is unintelligible at times. He rambles and stutters a lot, and when he doesn’t, his words are very slow, and he has to think for a very long time on what he wants to say.
This isn’t the only time Michael has been in the hospital for head trauma just like this, and when it happened last time he ignored doctors orders and wrestled anyway. This repeated incident could very well be worse than it was last time. He didn’t take time off to rest and heal last time like he should have, and that damage could very well be remaining, and this second punt could set off a chain of events with his physical and mental condition that we really can’t predict at this time.
Mr. Christopher most likely has a very serve concussion. We haven’t gotten results from tests back yet, but I can almost guarantee, with the severity of his last head injury, coupled with his ignorance of doctor’s orders, and the incident last night, that he has very serious damage to his head and possibly his brain, but as of right now I cannot confirm anything.”
- When he was posed with the question of Tyger returning to the ring, Dr. Dylan had this to say:
“I can’t say as of now, because we don’t have a full prognosis of his condition, but this is the second time this has happened. If he gets back in the ring, and this happens a third time, he may never wake up, or at the very least, may never be who he once was again. I would suggest Tyger never step back in the ring again.”
- While most have been denied to visit Tyger, several SNME wrestlers, including Shawn Michaels, Chris Danielson, Santino Marella, and Matt Sydal have all been able to speak with Tyger, all exiting the hospital room with very grim look on their faces. Tyger’s girlfriend, Amy Pirtle, has yet to arrive to the hospital, as she is attempting to make her way to Arizona.
- It should be noted, his best friend and man who punted him, Randy Orton, has not been seen at the hospital.
