Saturday Night's Main Event!
LIVE! From The Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon!
6/25/11!
As SNME opened, Shawn Michaels called out Shane McMahon to confront him about screwing Mr. Kennedy out of the World Heavyweight Championship at Rumble in the Jungle. When Shane came out he wasn't alone. He was in the company of new World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Tamina. Shane told Shawn and the rest of the world that he was now a part of Legacy, and he would do everything in his power to make sure Legacy was at the top of this company. Shawn didn't like that one bit, and he told Shane that he was the sheriff in town, and that as long as there was still air flowing in and out of his lungs... he was going to put a stop to it!
"The Natural" Jacob Jones vs. Alex Riley
(Extreme Rules Match!)
Jacob Jones made short work of Alex Riley. As Pauk Heyman layed out the orders, Jones followed them, tearing Riley limb from limb with the use of all sorts of violent weapons. As Heyman watched on, it was soon noticed that he wasn't the only one enjoying what Jones was doing in the ring. Scott Levy was seen watching from the darkness of the crow's nest at the top of the arena.
As sNME returned from commercial break, a red and yellow Dodge Viper was seen pulling up in the parking lot. As the driver stepper out, he was revealed to be Hulk Hogan! With the fans going nuts, Hogan looked to be headed into the arena.
Dolph Ziggler vs. The Ultimate Warrior
(Singles Match!)
Warrior gave Ziggler all he had, but it just didn't seem like it was enough. Granted he had the power of the Warrior, Ziggler was much too young and quick on his feet. When it seemed like it was over for the Ultimate Warrior, he surprised the world and kicked out of the Zig Zag. As Warrior started to make his comeback, "Voodoo Child" shreded the speakers, as Hogan made his way out. With Warrior distracted, Ziggler rolled him up for a quick three count. As Warrior jumped to his feet, a wide smile rolled across Hogan's face. Warrior shook the ropes in fury, but it waas no good. He had already lost his match. Hogan slowly backed his way up the ramp, that same wide smile across his face.
John Cena vs. John Morrison
(Singles Match!)
Cena and Morrison could possibly be the match of the night. Both men went back and fourth for the majority of the match hitting their usual trademark moves. Near the end Morrison caught Cena off guard with a thunderous kick to the side of the head. As Morrison looked to put the match away, Cena countered into the STFU! Morrison reached and reached for the ropes, but it was too late. He quicjly tapped out, so he could live to fight another day. As Cena celebrated, Morrison did not look to happy. He viciously attacked Cena from behind, making sure to make a statement in front of the world. As Cena was laid out, Morrison nailed him with Starship Pain! Morrison looked like he wanted to do more, but security rushed the ring to put a stop to the assault.
Naples Knight vs. Seth Akira
(Singles Match: Naples Redebut!)
Naples and Seth quickly got the crowd into their match. Both men took eachother to the limit, displaying their abilities to the best. Naples soon took advantage and gained the upperhand. It looked as if Seth could be about to lose, but he wasn't done yet. Seth faught back into the match, nailing Naples with all he had. As Seth thought he had the match in the bag, Naples caught him out of nowhere with a brutal Spear! Naples quickly made the cover, securing the victory for his return match to SNME.
Johnny Magnum vs. "Hellman" G Stone
(Singles Match: Was it G Stone who attacked Roy?)
Magnum came out looking somewhat worried, afterall his best friend was attacked at Rumble in the Jungle. Magnum tried to give his all against, Stone, but it didn't seem like it was enough on this night. Stone finished off the not the present minded Magnum with the Pain. As Stone left the ring, Magnum was left on his own to recover. He slowly got up, but just as they did at Rumble in the Jungle, the lights flashed off. A gunshot sounded through the arena, as a flash went off in the ring. As the lights returned to normal, Johnny Magnum was found in the ring, laying face down in a puddle of what looked to be his own blood. Medical Personnel quickly rushed to the ring, taking care of Magnum.
As SNME returned from commercial break, Alberto Del Rio was seen leaving a lockerroom. With a wide smile across his face, Del Rio made his way to the Gorilla position.
Before the main event Shane McMahon made his way out. He stated that he was changing the stipulation of the main event from a Street Fight to a normal singles match. The crowd did not seem to like this one bit, as they booed Shane out of the building.
Main Event:
"Soulfire" Justin Tyger vs. Alberto Del Rio
(Singles Match: Sydal's Revenge!)
With the crowd behind Tyger, he seemed to be unstoppable. Tyger unleashes fury on Del Rio, making him pay for what he did to his best friend Matt Sydal on SNME's return show. As Tyger looked to be on top of things, Del Rio quickly gained the advantage. Del Rio took Tyger to the limit, working his arm over, just as he did Sydal's. Del Rio set Tyger up... Reversal! Tyger reversed Del Rio and nailed him with the Western Lariat! Tyger pulls Del Rio up... Northern Lights Bomb! Tyger goes for the cover, but all hell breaks loose! The Usos, Ted DiBiase, and Randy Orton hit the ring, attacking Tyger. The referee quickly called for the bell, giving Tyger the DQ victory, but that didn't matter. Legacy was laying in on him. As things didn't seem good for Tyger, "Sexy Boy" blared through the arena! Shawn Michaels along with Zack Ryder with chairs in their hands, came running down the ramp. As they hit the ring, Legacy quickly cleared the ring. They wanted nothing to do with Michaels and Ryder with those chairs in their hands. As SNME came to a close, Legacy backed their way up the ramp, as Shawn and Ryder helped up Tyger.
