Saturday Night's Main Event!
LIVE! From The HP Pavillion in San Jose, California!
5/28/11!
As the show opened, Styles, Owens, and Benjamin welcomed us into the HP Pavillion. As the camera panned over to them, we saw that Shelton Benjamin was in his own commentary booth, surrounded by plexiglass. Shelton quickly explained that he was now in the Gold Mine to keep out freaks like Goldust.
"The Natural" Jacob Jones vs. Chris Danielson
(Singles Match!)
In what was a hard faught match between two of the youngest talents in SNME, Chris Danielson just couldn't put Jacob Jones away. In the end, Jones nailed Danielson with the Natural Disaster to pick up his first win in singles competition.
After the match, Jones bragged about his victory. He also told the world that he was gunning for the SNME Custom Championship, and no one was going to stop him. Until... "RE-SPECT!" Rob Van Dam made his way out, getting right in Jones face. He said that if anyone was going for that title, it was... "SANTINOOOOOO!" Santino Marella's music blared throguh the arena, as he made his way out. He told RVD and Jones that the Custard Championship was HIS title, and he would be the one gunning for it... An unfamiliar music blared through the arena, as a superstar made their return... ACM made his way out and said that HE was going for the Custom Championship. Danielson finally butted into the conversation and claimed his spot in the Custom Championship race. As the tension began to build, Shane McMahon made his way out. He set up a 5 man Championship Scramble for the Custom Championship at Rumble in the Jungle.
Brock Lesnar vs. John Morrison
Before the match even started, Lesnar attacked Morrison from behind. As the bell rang, the fight spilled to the outside. Lesnar and Morrison went back and fourth trading blows, but soon enough, Lesnar was too much for Morrison. Lesnar started to demolish Morrison, taking out his recent frustrations on him. The referee finally counted both men out, and the match was over. Security finally pulled Brock off of Morrison, and they forced him to go to the back.
Zack Ryder vs. Alberto Del Rio
Ryder looked very to be on fire as the match started, but Del Rio quickly took control. Del Rio made Ryder pay for his arrogance earlier in the match, as he started to wear down Ryder's arm. As Del Rio went for the Cross Arm Breaker, Ryder reversed it, nailing the Zack Attack... But that wasn't enough! Finally Brock Lesnar and Felipe Coronel made their way down the ramp. With Ryder distracted, Del Rio quickly rolled him up and scored the victory!
The Roy & Johnny Magnum vs. Edge & Christian
(Tag Team Match!)
Roy and Johnny looked like they were feeling some tension between one another, but they seemed like they had their attention focused on beating one of the best tag teams to ever step into the ring. After losing last week, Edge and Christian looked determined to set the record straight. The match went back and fourth, as both teams gave it their all. Rowe and Magnum looked to finally get the upper hand, but Rowe accidentally nailed Magnum with a clothesline. As Roy turned around, Christian nailed him with the Killswitch! As Christian made the cover, Magnum tried to break it up, only to be hit with a spear from Edge. Edge and Christian picked up the win, leaving the crowd, along with Roy and Johnny in dismay.
"Hellman" G Stone vs. "The Viper" Randy Orton
(King of the Jungle: Semifinals!)
Stone and Orton locked up, and like two bulls, they collided in the middle of the ring. Each man was determined to claim his spot in the finals of the King of the Jungle Tournament. Stone seemed to be capitalizing, taking control of the match early on. The longer the match went, the more the tables seemed to turn. Orton was starting to take control, and it was taking a toll on Stone's body. Orton stomped away at Stone, wearing him down limb by limb. As Orton went for an RKO, Stone reversed it! Stone nailes the Pain! As Stone covered Orton, it seemed to be all over... No! Orton was not done! Orton battled his way back into the match and nailed Stone with an RKO out of nowhere... Orton covered him, and he finally sealed the deal. Randy Orton had finally claimed a shot at the SNME World Heavyweight Championship!
Main Event:
Raven vs. Mr. Kennedy
(King of the Jungle: Semifinals!)
As Raven and Kennedy made their way to the ring, the crowd was pumped for this match. SNME fans have never seen these top stars go head to head, and it was finally happening before their very eyes. Raven and Kennedy locked up, and Kennedy took control. He layed into Raven, letting the crowd know that he was not intimidated by the dark force of Raven. Raven, using his intelligence to his advantage, finally took control of the match. He took Kennedy to the limit, but those limits... Were pushed ven further. Kennedy lookd to be done, as Raven set him up for the even flow DDT. Kennedy shoved Raven back, knocking the referee out of commision. As the referee went down, a woman jumped over the rail and slid into the ring... It's Kammy! Kammy low blowed Raven and nailed him with the DDT! Kennedy looks to be in shock. Kammy pulls Raven up to his feet and hands him off to Kennedy... MIC CHECK! As Kammy wakes the referee up, Kennedy goes for the cover... He's done it! Kennedy has defeated Raven! As Kennedy's hand is raised in victory, Randy Orton and Ted DiBiase come running down the ramp. They jump Kennedy, pummeling him to the mat! DiBiase pulls Kennedy up... Dream Street! As Kennedy lays motionless on the ground, DiBiase pulls him up. The Viper is coiled and ready to strike... RKO!!! Orton and DiBiase stand over Kennedy's body, as SNME fades off the air.
