Saturday Night's Main Event!
9/12/2009
Pyro shoots out of the stage from all directions and rain over the arena as the SNME fans cheer loudly for the action to start. We pan around the arena, looking at signs of all shapes, colors, and sizes. We are taken to the commentary table with Joey Styles and Austin Owens.
Austin Owens: Hello everyone and welcome to Saturday Night's Main Event! I'm Austin Owens...
Joey Styles: And I'm Joey Styles! And what a night we have ahead of us!
Austin Owens: What a night indeed, Joey! A Summer Meltdown rematch: The Roy takes on G Stone! AMAZING!
Joey Styles: And will we see things get heated between Johnny Magnum and Chance tonight when they sign their The Last Stop contract? We'll have to see later!
Austin Owens: Don't forget about that lovely diva's contest featuring Casey James and Kelly Kelly taking on Lyla Paige and Maria! Also in action, Suicide, Jeff Hardy, Hafiz Abdurehman, Jack Swagger and many more!
Joey Styles: Let's get started!
Suicide vs. Jeff Hardy
Jeff and Suicide had a rather one way match. Suicide was pretty relentless through-out the match. Jeff had a hard time finding his groove in his debut. Suicide wouldn't let Jeff take much of an advantage. In all fairness, Jeff got his time on attack, but it wasn't enough, Suicide just wouldn't let him get on a streak. Eventually, after Jeff almost was in position to have a win, Suicide reversed the twist of fate into a small package to get a win against Jeff Hardy in his debut match in SNME.
Winner: Suicide

We cut backstage with Casey James. She sits on her bench with her leg extended and her arm stretched out so her hand is wrapped around her toes. She releases it and does the same with the other side, when she is interrupted by her door being forced open by none other than Lyla Paige. Casey instantly stands up and gets face to face with the intimidating diva, though Casey herself does not look intimidated. Lyla looks Casey up and down and smirks.
Lyla Paige:
"You look good, Casey. And if good looks could kill, you'd be great at this game. Unfortunately for you, this isn't a beauty pageant. And unlike High School, being popular around here won't get you anywhere. Got it? So come The Last Stop, I'll show this company looks don't mean anything!"
After giving Lyla a blank stare for a good half minute, Casey speaks up.
Casey James:
"Whoa there Lyla. Step back. If this game isn't about beauty, why bring it up? Are you jealous or something? Listen up, I may have good looks, but I didn't ask for them. And because of that, I don't acknowledge them when I'm training in the gym or kicking ass in the ring, got it? Pretty face or not, I can nearly guarantee after The Last Stop, the SNME Woman's Championship will be with me!"
Lyla Paige:
"We'll see about that... We have a tag match tonight, and while I could care less about some little tramp named Maria being my partner, I can guarantee you won't be walking away unscathed. Haha."
Lyla grins at Casey. Casey looks on annoyed. Lyla turns and walks out the door, leaving Casey alone once more.

Casey James and Kelly Kelly vs. Lyla Page and Maria
The match went by quickly and we saw all the divas get in on some action. The finish came when Lyla hit a devastating move on Casey and picked up the win, pinning her TLS opponent.
Winner: Lyla and Maria

We now turn our attentions to backstage where we see The All-American American, Jack Swagger prepping for his upcoming contest. Swagger is performing squat thrusts at a calm rate while keeping his eyes forward until something distracts him. Swagger glances to the side and sees none other than the Tag Team Champion, MVP. MVP bears an arrogant smirk as Swagger stands straight up giving him his full attention.
MVP: Whoa, whoa, whoa play boy… Don’t let me stop you from what you were doing.
Jack Swagger: What do you want Montel? Have you come to see how a true champion prepares for a match?
Swagger flashes a grin of his own as MVP lets out a small laugh.
MVP: You know it’s funny that you actually believe you’re gonna make something of yourself in this company before I do… I mean it’s really kinda cute actually when you think about it.
Jack Swagger: Listen MVP, you may think you’re big stuff around here, but I’m the future of this company… this physique… this face… this smile… it’s gonna be plastered on every poster and billboard throughout the company sometime very soon… Like tonight… See I’m gonna make a statement… an impact… just like Shelton told me I should. Because he realizes that I’m the next big thing in this business and desire’s nothing more than to pass the torch to me.
MVP: Now hold up… what makes you think Shelton was talking about you when he said make an impact? He was talking to a future member of the hall of fame… not a future member of the hall of jobbers. See Shelton wants me to prove to him I’m just what I say I am… half man, half amazing… and they call me Mr. FedEx, because in matters like this one, I deliver. See tonight I’m gonna turn this company upside down and show Shelton that when he steps down, I’ll be right there to hold that torch and carry this company on my back!
Jack Swagger: Oh we’ll see about that Montel, I’m gonna love watching you fail miserably tonight at your failed attempts to garner attention as I do by my mere appearance… but as for now… the All-American American has a match to dominate.
Swagger leaves the scene and MVP watches him leave, before muttering under his breath.

MVP: All-American Reject is more like it… [/center]
Hafiz Abdurehman vs. Jack Swagger
Hafiz and Jack had a very good back and forth match. In the begining Hafiz looked to clean the match up early. However, toward the end Swagger starting getting the advantage over Hafiz. Just when it looked like Jack had it won. Felipe goton the apron and the ref got distracted. In the mean-time, Hafiz wound up low-blowing Swagger to pick up a victory.
Winner: Hafiz Abdurehman

MVP and Dolph Ziggler vs. Antonio Chavez and Rob Van Dam
From the start with MVP facing off against Chavez, to the end where MVP pinned Van Dam this match was completely one sided. Dolph and MVP merely toyed with them for the duration of the contest allowing only one tag. The finish came when MVP hit a Play Maker on Rob while Dolph tackled Antonio down to the mat, allowing MVP to get a clean pin. MVP grabbed both titles and didn't even look twice at Dolph as he headed straight for the locker room.

The scene opens up with "The Promise" in the backstage area just walking along a corridor. Out of the blue, MVP hits him in the back of the head with the title belt. MVP pushes him to the ground and starts kicking him down. "The Promise" tries to get up but then, Jack Swagger comes from behind and kicks him in the stomach. MVP looks at him as if had no clue what was going on.
MVP:
Hey, what the hell are you doing?
Jack Swagger:
I'm making an IMPACT.
MVP and Jack continue to trade blows at The Promise as they begin to smile. Once again, a man pops out of no where, but this time to save the day. A superkick comes within inches of MVP. MVP falls backwards and gets up quickly to run off. Swagger follows him off as HBK looks at him. HBK helps The Promise up as the scene goes to a commercial break.

Antonio Chavez is walking backstage with his head low after his second loss. He seems to be heading out when two men whose faces are covered grab him. Antonio tries to fight back, but another man comes and smacks him in the head with a steel pipe, knocking him out. The man with the pipe is Felipe. The Truth. He orders Hafiz to pick Antonio up and put him on his shoulders and carry him out... we fade.
Four words blast over the PA system "Look at me now!", Johnny Magnum's new theme song "4 Words (To Choke Upon)" by Bullet for My Valentine plays very loudly over the PA system as the lights dim and lights flicker across the arena. Johnny walks onto the stage, hidden in the darkness. Once he rises his title a large spot light shines down upon him and the fans erupt in a roar of cheers. Johnny slowly walks down to the ring and climbs up the steps where he picks up the mic.
Johnny Magnum:
"Now before we bring Chance out here, I just want to make a few things clear to you. The Revolution... is here to stay. Nothing and no one will bring us down from our pedestal. We are simply the best this company has to offer... we are the past, present, and the future... we have championships in more than half of the SNME divisions... you can call it arrogance, but we'll refer to it as what it truly is. Greatness. Truthfulness. And-..."
Mid sentence Magnum is cut off by the sound of SNME superstar Chance's theme. Johnny cocks his head toward the stage as his PPV opponent walks down the ramp with a confident look posted on his face and an arrogant swagger hidden in his step. Chance rolls into the ring and stares at Johnny and his championship, before sitting down in one of the leather arm chairs.
Johnny Magnum:
"Very original, Chance. Doing the whole, interrupting my speech thing? Eh, whatever. Like this Sunday will prove actions speak louder than words."
Johnny sits down and grabs the clipboard with the contract. He pulls a pen from the top and signs his name on the dotted line and throws it Chance's way. Chance picks it up and smirks while reading it.
Chance:
"No, Johnny. I was simply saving these people from your lies. I'm a man of truth... and chance. And this Sunday, may I remind you... you take the chance."
Johnny laughs and shakes his head.
Johnny Magnum:
"Chance, when will you learn the only chances worth taking are the fun ones? And that's what this Sunday will be for me... a fun chance to prove to the world why I am the Intercontinental Champion."
Chance:
"There won't be any of that, Johnny. Simply me. Putting a hurting on you."
Johnny Magnum:
"I'd love to see that day. Just sign the contract, kid. I got stuff to do."
Chance picks the clipboard up and signs his name while saying something to Johnny.
Chance:
"Stuff? Like go attend to your love posse?"
Johnny leaps at Chance, but Chance rolls back causing Johnny to trip over the table. Chance gets on the apron and Johnny gets up and runs at him, but Chance pulls down on Magnum's head causing his neck to slam into the rope. Magnum flops back like a fish as Chance hops into the ring. He grabs the Intercontinental Championship off the ground and holds it in his hands. Johnny gets up and Chance runs at him and smashes it over Magnum's head. Chance smirks as blood trickles out. He lays the Intercontinental Championship away from Johnny as he gets out of the ring and heads to the back.

The Roy vs. G Stone
In this contest our World Champion didn't look all there as Stone pretty much dominated him. Roy tried to fight back and had the advantage for a brief period of time, before Stone connected with The Pain followed by an explosive Highway to Hell to get a victory over our World Champion. After the match Magnum and Naples ran out to check on the champ's well being. They got him to his feet and rose his hand though he lost. Jack Swagger and MVP burst from the ring side area and slid under the ring and put a beating on Roy, Magnum, and Naples. As the show came to a close, MVP and Jack both had Tag Championships around their shoulders and Shelton Benjamin was seeing laughing at the top of the ramp at his fallen foe.
Winner: G Stone
