Saturday Night's Main Event!
LIVE! From The Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho!
7/30/11!
The Saturday Night's Main Event logo slowly wipes across the screen. An upbeat guitar suddenly perks up our ears, grasping the attention of millions around the world. The song suddenly picks up, as the rest of the band joins in. With the sound of "Saturday Night" by Nickelback and Kid Rock blaring through our ears, a montage of the greatest moments in Saturday Night's Main Event history begins to play. As the chorus kicks in, the screen shatters into millions of tiny pieces. We are suddenly sent into the Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho! The thousands of fans in attendance begin to go wild, as lights begin to flash upon the stage. The camera pans throughout the crowd catching them in their moment of excitement and pure adrenaline. We switch cameras, looking on at the stage. The guitar comes in with a solo, as the lights slightly dim. The song slowly rises in volume, as a massive explosion of pyrotechnics shoots off. The stage is completely lit up, and the energy in the building is absolutely amazing. We quickly cut over to Joey Styles and Austin Owens, who bring us the introduction...
Styles: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Saturday Night's Main Event! I'm Joey Styles...
Owens: And I'm Austin Owens!
Styles: We are hot off the trails of Seven Deadly Sins, folks, and what a night it was! Six men went head to head to capture a chance at gold and money! Kammy was defeated by Naples Knight! Seth Akira defeated CM Punk and G Stone in one hell of a match! Raven retired after nearly ending Jacob Jones career before it even had a chance to start! And... We still don't know who the hell is getting control of SNME!
Owens: That's right, folks! The chaos is still going on, and hopefully we'll find out something tonight. I know one thing, Shawn isn't gonna let Shane continue on doing what he's been doing any longer.
Styles: You may be right there, Austin! But let's talk about what we saw in the huge 10 man triple cage match. Folks, if you didn't get the chance to see it... get the encore! The Triple Cage Match was one of the greatest matches in our histroy if you ask me. And with all that gold on the line... we only crowned one new champion. Matt Sydal walked out of there with the Custom Championship.
Owens: Talk about stealing the show? Sydal was flying all over the place at Seven Deadly Sins. Man, that kid is really something.
Styles: Well, that isn't all we saw. We also saw some hype for new superstars coming to SNME. More specifically, Mason Moore. Moore looks like he has a bright future ahead of him, and I can't wait to see what he's got in him tonight, as he makes his debut!
Owens: Don't forget though. There are several other new stars making their debuts tonight. Hopefully these guys can impress and get into the mix of things here in SNME!
"Sexy Boy" suddenly blares through the Qwest Arena, as "HBK" Shawn Michaels comes prancing out. With a wide grin on his face, Shawn makes his way down the aisle, high-fiving his many adoring fans. Wasting no time, Shawn jogs up the steps and takes a microphone from Justin Roberts, before ducking under the top rope and stepping into the ring. As his music slowly fades out, Shawn brings the microphone to his mouth.
Shawn: Ladies... and gentlemen. Last weekend you witnessed two teams battling it out for everything. And I mean everything! All the gold was on the line! The entire company was on the line! Their lives were on the line! And not a single one of them failed. Both teams walked out with gold, and it was even. Those that did not walk out with gold did not fail. They showed the world how hungry they were. They showed the world that they had the passion and love for this business. Shane... you and I picked the best men we could think of. And still... neither you or I are in complete control of this company. Since they couldn't settle it... there's only one thing left to do. You and I, Shane! What do ya' say?
Shawn beckons Shane out, daring him to come on out.
Shawn: Come on out, Shane! Face me like a man!
"Here Comes The Money" blares through the arena, as a roar of boos is heard from the crowd. Shane McMahon slowly walks out, a contract in his hand. Shane slowly makes his way down the ramp and walks up the steps. Before he steps into the ring, he grabs a microphone. As Shane stands face to face with Shawn, his music fades out.
Shane McMahon: Shawn... for years you put my father through hell. And at the first Wrestlefest, you got your hands on him. Since that night... my father hasn't been the same man. He hasn't had that look in his eyes that he used to. And for that, Shawn, I wanted to make you pay. I wanted to take this company from you and run it into the ground. But I can't do that, Shawn... It's obvious. No matter what I do... you're not going to die. You're not going to give up. Shawn, this company means too much to you, and it means to little to me to put my life on the line for it. I'm done, Shawn. You can have your company back... One hundred percent.
Shane drops the microphone and pulls a pen from his pocket. He quickly flips through the pages of the contract, signing each line he needs to. As Shane finishes, he tosses the contract to Shawn. Shane starts to leave, but Shawn rushes over to him. He holds out his hand. Shane reaches for it... Their hands lock. Shawn nods his head at Shane, as he starts to walk off. Shawn pulls him back... Sweet Chin Music! As Shane McMahon falls limp to the ground, Shawn lifts the mic to his mouth.
Shawn: Security... get this chump outta here!
As security pulls Shane out of the ring, "Sexy Boy" blares through the arena. Shawn prances around the ring, as SNME fades to commercial.
Mankind vs. Kevin Thorn
(Singles Match!)
As SNME returned from commercial, Kevin Thorn made his way to the ring. Thorn looked impressive, but the fans were more interested in the debuting freak of nature, Mankind. As the match started, Thorn showed his brute strength. Mankind really seemed like he was going to be overpowered, but over time he felt no pain. The more pain Mankind took, the stronger he got. Makind finally picked up the win, as he locked in the Mandible Claw to make Thorn pass out.
as SNME returned from commercial, Chris Danielson, Desmond Wolfe, and Dorian Gray were in the ring, about to reveal their cases from the Deadly Games Match at Seven Deadly Sins. The camera focuses on Maria Kanellis, as she steps into the ring to host the revealing of the cases.
Maria Kanellis: Before we get started, I have some news. Shane Douglas has parted ways with SNME. This will allow the opportunity to trade cases. So... Seeing as Danielson was the second man to grab a case, I will give you the option first. Would you like to trade your case for Shane Douglas'?
Danielson looks at his case, as he ponders his decision.
Danielson: You know, my luck isn't too great, so... I'm gonna risk it. I'm gonna trade my case for his.
Maria swaps Danielson's case with Shane's.
Maria Kanellis: Alright, Chris. You can now open your case.
Chris takes in a deep breath, as he slowly opens his case. As he peaks inside, his face turns pale. It must be bad. Danielson then opens it the rest of the way, as a wide smile covers his face.
Maria Kanellis: Chris, you have earned a shot at the Custom Championship! When are you going to cash it in?
Danielson: When the time is right, Maria. When the time is right.
Maria Kanellis: Desmond, you now have the option of trading your case for Danielson's old case. Would you like to?
Wolfe: I think I'll take me chances with this one here.
Maria Kanellis: Then let's see what you got...
Wolfe slowly opens his case, as he starts to smirk.
Maria Kanellis: Desmond, you have earned a shot at the World Tag Team Championships!
Desmond smirks, as he closes his case back. Maria then moves over in front of Gray.
Maria Kanellis: Dorian, would you like to trade cases?
Dorian shakes his head no, as he opens his case.
Maria Kanellis: Oh no! It looks like you'll be begging for change all month, Dorian. I'm so sorry. You get a month without pay. Well, you saw it folks. While Dorian is getting no pay, Desmond Wolfe and Chris Danielson will be waiting in the shadows to capture gold when the right moment comes.
As the ring clears, it is ready for action.
Desmond Wolfe vs. Sheamus
(Singles Match!)
As Desmond Wolfe remains in the ring, Celtic music blared through the Qwest arena, as Sheamus made his way out for his first match in SNME. Sheamus looked highly impressive to start with, but Wolfe quickly gained the advantage. To finish the match, Wolfe nailed Shemaus with the Tower of London. Wolfe ended an impressive debut of Sheamus in a matter of moments.
As SNME cuts to the back, Jimmy and Jey Uso are seen at the interview area with Maria Kanellis.
Maria Kanellis: Ladies and gentlemen, I am standing by with Jimmy and Jey, the World Tag Team Champions. Jimmy... Jey... As you heard earlier, Desmond Wolfe has an opportunity to go after your titles.
Jimmy: Is that right? Well, last time I checked, no one liked that punk, Wolfe, enough to be his partner.
Jey: Yeah! Ain't nobody want to tag with that fool.
: Old fool, eh?
Desmond Wolfe steps into the scene, his case held by his side.
Wolfe: The two of you better start counting down because your time with those titles... is coming to an end. Next week... you'll find out just who my partner is.
Wolfe shoves past Jimmy and Jey, as he heads to his locker room.
Chris Danielson vs. Shane Douglas
(Singles Match!)
As Shane Douglas made his way out for the final time on SNME, he was ready to honor his match for the night. when Danielson hit that ring, it was over within three minutes. Danielson took Douglas from pillar to post, and he finally made him tap with the Crossface.
After a couple months, we have returned to a familiar location. It was this location that we saw a man in need of change in his life. A man who had lost the passion for the one thing he had loved. A man who’s life changed with the ring of a telephone. It is a cold night here in New York. The skies surround us with smoke like clouds, consuming the night sky. Within a distance, we see a full moon shinning ominously. It is normal for this city to be consumed with traffic, sight seers, and lights illuminating the surrounding. Our location for the night is a familiar one. Many people cross it every day, back and forth, from the Borough of Manhattan to Long Island. We are at the sight of the Brooklyn Bridge. It was nearby this location that Zack Ryder came to before making his SNME debut, hoping to relieve some stress and anxiety that had plagued him. It was here that Zack Ryder was before he became a champion. But unlike the nearby park that sits besides the bridge, this time Zack stands on the structure, holding a bag on his shoulder. Zack has just come out of the hellish triple cage match structure that he had entered at Seven Deadly Sins. The man is beaten, battered, and wounded physically and mentally. He’s not the same man he was before he entered Las Vegas. Zack slowly walks alongside the bridge, moping around, wearing jeans, a hooded jacket, and baseball cap on backwards. Cars pass by him, honking their horns. He merely looks at them, nodding his head slowly as if nothing fazes him. He stops, walking over to the side of the bridge and looks over the edge, gazing at the water below. Ryder turns to look at the camera.
Zack Ryder: Last time I was here… I came with one shade of color, the color blue. It was then that I promised I would replace it with another; that color became gold. That night I had yet to step through the curtains. It was then that I made a promise to myself to become more than just a comedy act. I promised to prove to the world that I deserve better, better then what had been given to me. The blues had consumed me. I no longer wanted to do the thing I loved. That changed when I came here. That changed when I held up the Intercontinental Championship. But as time has progressed, I have realized that this championship, this championship I had worked hard for to gain, I have worked hard for to keep; it has consumed my heart with the same blues that I had hoped it would cure. Shawn Michaels, I thought you wanted me here so I could become a star. I believed that you were giving me an opportunity. But now I know that couldn’t be further from the truth because all this championship has done has made my life a living hell. This championship title, it’s a disease. It has only helped to end my career, not to transcend it to bigger and better things. Since winning it, I have been the victim of heinous attacks, attacks happening on a daily basis. This championship has made me go through animals, monsters, and steel prisons; and for what reason? To hold and keep a meaningless, piece of hardware. This “championship” has done nothing for me. Holding this has done nothing for my career. These people still think I’m nothing more than a joke, and can you blame them? Every week I step into that ring and give everything I have, just to impress the fans, and even with all that, I lay there on the ground, the victim of another beat down. How am I supposed to prove myself when I’m being put into situations where I am left to die? The last month, I have had to rely on other people, and you know what good that got me? It got me nowhere. I bled for that team, and you know what they did? They stuck me into a handicap match. Oh, but Justin Tyger couldn’t make it, Justin Tyger was injured. Ya, well if Justin Tyger was injured, why aren’t sending in someone to replace him. Why aren’t you sending in someone to help me out? Instead you watch in the back, sitting on your ass Shawn Michaels while I get my ass handed to me by two guys. The next week, I face the heavyweight champion. I walked in with my best friend, the only man I could trust. What happen in that match? People interfered and cost me the match. I had one man who tried to do something about it, my best friend. But where were you and our team? Sitting on your asses! Oh, but you came out in the end. Ya, well, you did, after I got jumped by five men! You’re little late guys, why don’t you get off your asses and do something right for once! Well I’m tired, tired of being mister nice guy. I’m tired of being the butt of everyone’s joke! I’m tired of being attacked every damn week! And I’m tired of everyone not giving me the respect I deserve! Sure, I wanted to be the one to break the record for holding this title longer than anyone had ever done, and yea, I’m close, closer than many people think, but now, I just don’t care. I don’t care anymore, because quite frankly, it’s killing me. It’s just not worth holding this championship for the remainder of these days. This title is like a cancer. But unlike cancer, I have a cure. I have cure that will end this suffering for now and ever. I have found the cure for my blues, and who knew that I would find it here. It is now up to me to heal the pain.
Ryder hangs over the ledge of the bridge. Cars passing by notice the man looking over the bridge, starring down at the cold water below, believing that he is going to jump over. It is hard to disagree with what the civilians are thinking, I mean, Ryder is hanging over the side of a bridge. Ryder grabs the bag he had brought with him. Unzipping it, he searches inside, pulling out the source of his ongoing frustration, the SNME Intercontinental Championship. Ryder stares deep into it, even seeing his reflection as it reflects against the lights of the bridge. He smiles into it, and without hesitating, drops it. The title descends until we hear a splash as the golden title belt hits the water below, sinking to the bottom like the rocks Ryder had thrown into it months prior. The camera zooms down over the river and the title belt in nowhere to be seen, it is gone. All that remains is the man above, the man who now has been cured of what had been slowly killing him all along. Ryder doesn’t look over the bridge; he knows what the outcome of his title belt was. He merely smiles and walks away, turning his back on the camera.
“Realeza” by Jim Johnston blares through the PA System as SNME comes back from a commercial break. A white 2011 McLaren F1 arrives the staging area, making the fans notice it even more by its horn. Alberto Del Rio comes out of this car, wearing a black suit, black shoes and a blue shirt. The crowd lets this man know their hate towards him, with an arena surrounding him with boo’s, though this doesn’t seem to have any effect on him, since all he gives back is a big smile to every single one of them. He stands in the middle of the ramp as the fireworks go off. The camera focuses on Ricardo Rodriguez, who’s wearing his usual black tuxedo. He is standing in a corner. We are also able to notice there’s a red cloth covering the mat, and there’s also a wooden table in the center of it, with a gray briefcase on the middle, and a black sofa chair behind it.
We go back to Del Rio as his smile grows bigger, and so does the hate from the fans. Del Rio stands in the steel steps while a fan who’s wearing a Matt Sydal t-shirt shouts at him. Del Rio ignores him and enters the ring. Rodriguez, who’s standing on the corner to our right, gives Del Rio a microphone and goes to where he was.
Alberto Del Rio: My name… My name is Alberto Del Riiiiiiiooooooooooooooooooo! But you already know that… Many people may be wondering, why are you so happy, Alberto? You lost the chance to become a champion last Sunday at Seven Deadly Sins….Really? Did I? Ha ha. Esperen, esperen. Déjenme reírme un poco más de ustedes. Ha ha ha. While you people think I lost a chance to become a champion, I think I just lost a chance to be a disgrace holding that garbage that is the Custom Championship. There is a reason to everything that has happened. I just hoped that you people had listened to me in the past weeks. The only things I cared about Sydal in the first place was to show him that he didn’t had a chance here, and certainly not against me. I did that. The last time we saw each other, he got the championship, and you people think that is because he’s better. Let me you something: he’s not. The fact is, he is the best of the “Custom Division guys”, while me, well, I deserve better. Ever since I signed a contract with this company, Shawn Michaels has tried to hold me down. That very moment when I defeated Zack Ryder, I proved to everyone that if I didn’t deserved that title, at least I deserved a shot for it, but it seems the only person that was able to sense that was Shane McMahon. It was a well-known thing since weeks ago that I was going to be on Shane McMahon’s team… but why? Why was Alberto Del Rio going to team up with Shane McMahon if he tried to impress Shawn Michaels on his first night in SNME? It’s really simple. Shelton Benjamin and Shane McMahon had demonstrated respect to me, but that wasn’t it. They are wise men and they know I am a good business man, so they had something in store for me: an offer that… couldn’t refuse. Shane McMahon knew that in order for me to sign the contract for the match, he had to do something else. Respect was a good start, something was lacking right there. Something that was able to get my attention. Something Shawn wouldn’t be willing to give me. Before the match at Seven Deadly Sins, I was told by Shawn Michaels that I would only be eligible for grabbing the Custom Championship… It all happened the way Shane McMahon had expected it. I wasn’t going to reduce to that, so Shane McMahon told me to go out there and help the team out. I did that. I didn’t care about that title and I focused on helping them, because bigger and better things were waiting for me.
Del Rio opens the briefcase, taking some papers out of it.
Alberto Del Rio: Vean esto. Just look at this. This is the printed e-mail I got from Shane McMahon before joining his team. And I quote... Alberto, this is Shane McMahon, 50% owner of Saturday Night's Main Event and the man who signs your paycheck. I have a matter of importance I must speak with you, and it should be held at the top of your priority list as soon as you finish reading this message. My Vice President, Mr. Benjamin, has been holding you in high regards and feels you may be what I need to seal the deal against Shawn Michaels and throw him out of SNME once and for all, leaving Shane O' Industries with 100% control of the company. Zack Ryder, the SNME Intercontinental Champion... He needs an opponent for Seven Deadly Sins. Shelton has suggested I select you and if you can do me the simple task of following me and aiding me to get what I want... Not only will I give you that Intercontinental Championship match... but you could be looking at a very promising future with SNME and Shane O' Industries... Now I know you may not be surprised to be hearing from me seeing as your performance since you've joined SNME has been nothing short of stellar... or then again maybe you are a bit shocked to be receiving an email of this magnitude from me. Regardless of that it's your choice so just make sure you choose wisely. Signed, Shane O' Mac
Del Rio closes the letter, as he looks back around at the crowd.
Alberto Del Rio: Do you see it? He promised me an Intercontinental Championship match… A match that still hasn’t happened. And do you know what else? I request a contract for it, and here it is.
Del Rio pulls another set of papers from the briefcase, revealing he indeed has a contract for an Intercontinental Championship match. He smiles as he shows them.
Alberto Del Rio: Ha ha. Do you really thought that I cared that much about Matt Sydal? I have already proved that I am better than him by defeating him in singles competition. Soon enough I will become the Intercontinental Champion, because that…. Is my destiny.
Del Rio puts the microphone on the table, smiles and taunts the crowd, as “Realeza” by Jim Johnston plays through the PA System. SNME fades into commercials.
Christian vs. Levi Wood
(Singles Match!)
Much like the matches earlier, this one featured the return of one star and the debut of another. Christian tried his best in this contest, but it just wasn't enough. Levi Wood's brute contry boy strength took him down and out for the count.
As SNME cut to the back, Randy Orton is seen walking backstage. As Orton walks down the hall, the World Heavyweight Championship hangs over his shoulder. Orton passes by Stone, as Stone's eyes glimmer with hunger. Orton then passes by Seth Akira, as he knows his dreams could be coming true soon. Orton then bumps into an old friend... Justin Tyger.
Tyger: How ya' feelin', old buddy?
Orton holds his sore neck, as Tyger grins as wide as ever.
Orton: I guess I'm doing okay. I'm just glad all this mess between Shawn and McMahon is done with. I was getting sort of tired of hearing him piss and moan all the time.
Tyger: Yeah, I bet. Ya' know, a lot of people have been asking me something, Randy. They've been asking me why we shook hands after the hell we went through last weekend. And what I've been telling them... is respect. You see, you and I... we respect eachother. And that's why I wanted to ask you something.
Orton: Well, what's that, Justin?
Tyger: Look, Randy... That Triple Cage Match was fun and all, but it didn't let us do what we know we can do. It didn't let us shine like we know we can. Hoe about it, Randy? How about you give me one last shot, one on one?
Orton runs his hand over his stubble covered face, as he thinks.
Orton: Tyger... you're going to regret this. I respect you, but I won't hesitate to put an end to you when it comes to this title. Do you understand that?
Tyger: I... I sure do, Randy. I sure do.
Orton: You want your rematch... you'll get it next week!
Tyger grins from ear to ear, as his one and only wish has been granted. Out of respect, these two will go at it once again for the most prized possession in all of wrestling.
Black Machismo vs. Johnny Nitro
(Singles Match!)
Yet again, this match featured the debut and the return of another superstar. As Black Machismo made his debut, it was short lived, as Johnny Nitro took him to the limit. As Machismo battled to the end, it just wasn't enough. Nitro nailed Machismoa with the Starship Pain to put the match away.
We are taken to what looks like a dark industrial area with steel pipes and scaffolding. The camera pans around the area as if to be looking for someone or something. A silhouette of a man is scene in the distance as the camera makes its way onto the unstable scaffold. The cameraman walks along this perilous stretch approaching the man on the edge. As the camera approaches the man is revealed to be seated in a corner with one foot dangling over the edge of the scaffolding. The camera scrolls up the man to reveal black Harley Davidson boots, ripped black denim shorts, and a Quote the Raven t-shirt that is covered by a black leather jacket. As it pans to his face we are lead to believe we are seeing Scott Levy, that is, until we see the black hair with a crimson streak down the center. The man looks up with his beard a little more ragged than we are used to seeing, but we now know the man is Jacob Jones. Jones looks around at his surroundings with every motion seeming to cause him pain. Jones looks deeply into the camera and begins to speak.
Jones: Seven days… Seven days ago, I was in one of the most brutal matches in Saturday Night’s Main Event history. Seven days ago, I retired a man whom I have idolized my entire life. I put my body on the line for that man and what did he do repay me? He tried to kill me… he threw me from the top of a fifty foot high titantron set. I was obliterated by my fall and electrocuted by the sound equipment I landed upon. My body is tattered and broken even as I sit here, but I will not die.
Jones pauses looking away from the camera and running his hands through his long black hair holding it behind his head as if to be collecting his thoughts. Jones releases his hair and begins stroking his beard in thought. Jones begins speaking again without looking at the camera.
Jones: Scott, after that match you spoke to me, directly, for the first time since I have been in this company. You said that you believed I would become better than you, and you apologized for trying to kill me in our match. Scott, for a man who wishes to see me succeed to throw me from a fifty foot scaffold tells me something. It tells me that he is a liar and that he wants to end my career, not nurture it. My body will never be the same Scott and neither will my soul. Because Scott, when I was asleep in that hospital bed something strange happened. In my dreams I was approached by a spirit Scott, I was approached by Raven.
Jones begins chuckling to himself almost in a psychotic manner before suddenly stopping and looking at the camera with a somber look on his face.
Jones: Scott, now that you have left this company the spirit of Raven needs a new host. Raven needs someone to foster his anger, someone to achieve his goals, and someone to live for him. You see, Scott, when you abandoned this company and your followers, you abandoned Raven. Raven didn’t like being left alone Scott. So Raven, sought out someone who would take him in. He sought out someone who would nurture his soul and bring him back to glory. Raven sought me out Scott. I have been chosen as his new host after the beating I withstood at his hands at Seven Deadly Sins. Because make no mistake Scott, it wasn’t you who beat me that night, it was Raven.
Jones once again begins to laugh maniacally as he reaches up and flips an electrical switch to reveal that they are actually in the Bowery above the Quest Arena. Jones places his arms in the crucifix position and speaks to the camera with a crazed look in his eyes.
Jones: Seven days it took me to get here and seven days more it will take for me to get in that ring again. Seven more days and Raven will return to Saturday Night’s Main Event. Seven days and Jacob Jones will,
Quote the Raven…. Nevermore.
The scene fades to black, as SNME goes to commercial.
Naples Knight vs. Mason Moore
(Singles Match!)
The crowd was excited for Moore ot makes his debut, and he looked highly impressive as he made his way out. Naples Knight didn't look too bad either, as he is stepping up in this world of professional wrestling. Both men went move for move, giving eachother their best for quite some time in the match. Naples finally got the upperhand, and Moore looked to be in trouble. His fighting spirit did not let up though. Moore battled back until he was able to gain the advantage. As the fight waged on, they took the battle to the outside. Both men battled courageously, but the referee did not let up on them. As the referee was close to ten, Naples was able to hit the Spear out of nowhere. As the referee reached ten, Naples rolled into the ring, and Moore was counted out. Because of his drive to impress the world with his ability, Moore was counted out.
Main Event:
"Soulfire" Justin Tyger vs. "Second City Saint" CM Punk
(Singles Match!)
As Tyger made his way out, the crowd was on fire. They were ready to see an epic rematch that reeks of classic SNME. CM Punk slowly made his way out, beckoning for followers of the Straight Edge lifestyle. As Punk stood face to face with Tyger, he lectured him on the right ways to live life. Tyger took no time in slapping the taste right out of Punk's mouth and getting the match started. As Tyger and Punk battled back and fourth, the crowd was on fire. With the crowd behind him, Tyger could do no wrong. CM Punk looked like he was going down the drain just like the advice he tried to give Tyger. But... Tyger was caught off guard! Punk nailed Tyger with thunderous kicks to the side of the head, and the advantage was all his. As Punk lifted Tyger up onto his shoulders, the crowd roared with fire! Reaching from deep down, Tyger drove his elbow into the side of Punk's head several times. Tyger managed to escape, rolling Punk up for the three count. As Punk leapt off the mat, Tyger escaped with a smile on his face. CM Punk grabbed the referee, telling him that Tyger had a handful of trunks. He told the referee that he was cheated. The referee refused to reverse the decision no matter how much Punk argued with him. As Tyger made it to the top of the ramp, Orton met him. The two stood face to face, as SNME faded off the air.
